I was holding myself back since I discovered Cathe (Feb 2007). Today, I decided that's it. I want the Gym Style. I have Muscle Max already. I can't wait!

I am so motivated to change my body. I have seen good results with Cathe, but I feel that with Gym Style and 4 day Split (when I recieve it), I will change my body even more. I did not have enough weight workouts. i mainly did The Ripped for weights and Doule Upper Body max 2 Premix and Butts & Guts. With these 2 new series, I will be all set up. I am just missing a barbell, I will get one soon.

I am so excited.

just wanted to share :)

I finally ordered the Gym Style series when I pre-ordered the new ones, and I absolutely LOVE the GS series! I've been doing them for the last 3 1/2 weeks, and have gotten such good results! I'm actually getting some definition, and can feel my muscles much more (under that slight layer of flab that is slowly budging!).

I think you'll really like them! They're intense, but in a GOOD way!

I've been thinking about ordering those for awhile, I already have MM, ME, L&G, the last new series so I thought it might not be necessary but I've been wrong. Hopefully, soon, when my finances make sense, I will order them.

I just ordered them also and talk about some DOMS! I too believe that with my existing collection plus Gym Styles and 4 day split, I will be set.

GS is one of my favorite series from cathe. Sometimes i like to do both of the time saver upper body's for a complete upper body workout. it is intense. its about an hour long. i'm a fan of upper/lower splits so thats what i do with them

I actually just did GS Legs this morning. Wow...it was really hard. The slow lunges were just terrible (I decided to go up to 8lbs rather than the 5 that Cathe uses...big mistake). The outer thigh work at the end is a killer as well.

With that said, definitely my least favorite part is the calf work. It just never ends!!!!

Anyway, great workout (haha...that would probably sound really crazy to an outsider, since I just finished saying how hard and terrible it was!)

Now I'm really dreading Butts and Gutts because I have heard that it is the hardest leg workout. I will probably just cry...;(

I did this workout this morning as well and was cussing at the t.v. during the slow lunges. i'm definately going to be sore tomorrow. LOVE IT!!!

Oh God! I can't wait

I am buying a barbell tonight and next week I should recieve Gym Style. I want to push myself. If you guys see results in 3 weeks. WoW. that is motivating!

YEAHHHHHHHHHHH

just excited :D

As much as I LOVE the GymStyles, I still think Slow & Heavy is the best. It hits those muscles like no other weight workout does. I just finished a three day S&H rotation, and as always, I can tell a difference in definition.

Don't get me wrong, I do the GymStyles and I really like them, but if you're looking for serious results, S&H is the way to go in my opinion.

I'm planning to get the Gym Styles for Christmas but now I wish I could get them sooner. I'm going to order MM & a couple of others from the last series, along with a couple of bands, once we receive notification that the new series in ready to ship (or maybe a little sooner - just trying to give my credit card time to cool down between purchases;-)). I wasn't really very interested in the Slow & Heavy series but now I want them too. Darn it!:+}(

>Oh yay! Enjoy those 72 push-ups at the beginning of chest
>and tris! }(

Yep, gotta love those pushups! I almost think it would be better to do them at the end vs at the beginning, it makes it difficult to lift as heavy after doing all of them and I thought I was strong, HA!

Ah, now, like Kel, I want the Slow and Heavy, too! I think my DH would disown me, though, if I bought any more Cathe workouts right now . . . . But maybe for the holidays!

When you do the S&H series, do you have to increase your calorie and protein intake to see more results in muscle building?

I am not the original poster but I say Yes to your question. You will have the best and fast results by increasing the protein intake. You will also experience increase in hunger if you don't feed your self often. I usually have high protein and fiber snacks readily available. I cannot think clearly when I am low in fuel and it always happen whenever I am doing S&H rotation.

From the start, S&H has been one of my main tools to keep myself on the road. I have almost all Cathe’s workouts including the Gym styles but none other workout gives me the same results as S&H. It is most often used weighted workout for me.

I agree, Slow and Heavy is a great workout. I love the super slow count. I felt the leg workout for 3 days afterwards.

Even though the Gym Style leg routine was really tough yesterday, I don't feel it today except for in my calves.

I just can't get into S&H. I find it sooooo boring I can barely get through it and I never have DOMS. I am interested in the GS series though. Maybe for the holidays...
