Don't get me wrong; I'm very excited that STS is shipping. Butu I'm worried that when it gets here, I'll have no idea how to use it best. I've seen posts that there will be rotations. I was under the impression that you just started with Meso 1 and work your way through. If you're doing the 6 month, then you just do each week twice. Is this wrong? Is a rotation better? Has Cathe said how she will be doing it? Also, are the cardio suggestions coming with STS or just being posted on the workout manager. And then there is the work out card. I'm not sure how this fits in. I'm assuming if you're doing a section of Meso 1, there will be an option to print that particular DVD and all our 1RM tests (or weights it's going to tell us to use) will print for us. HELP!! :eek:
 
Hang in there Kim! :) I think the rotation everyone is talking about is what Cathe's recommendations are for the cardio portions of the program... It is my understanding as well that for the regular program to do with Cathe as produced, you just pop in Meso 1, week 1, day 1 and GO! :)

I believe that the STS guide will help very much to answer any additional question we have so don't panic just yet...

The workout cards although not sure what they will look like with the new & improved WM, will be helpful so once you have entered in your 1RM results, it will tell you what weights to use for each workout...

It seems a bit overwhelming, but honestly, I think once we get it in hand and can look over all the info that comes with the program, it will all CLICK! that's what I'm hoping anyway! :)
 
I agree with Dani, DON'T PANIC!!! I know and remember Cathe posted a reply once, somewhere, that THIS is the VERY reason she decided to go with all those 40+ DVDs.....so that there is no THINKING on our part. Pop in the DVD/workout you're currently on and OFF YOU GO!!!

Everything Dani & others said :D PLUS There is a manuel/Guide that comes with it...Enjoy digesting that and it will all come together...When I got P90X I was overwhelmed and it wasnt near the size of STS..After reading the guide book it was all so simple & clear...Most important? Press Play! The rest you can digest later.

Your description of how you thought you were to use STS is 100% correct for both the 3 & 6 month plan...... Dani is 100% on about the "rotation" - its just STS with suggested cardio on non STS days...You dont have to follow it!!!! People just asked for that.

I am planning to do it this way because I know what works best for my body:
STS
Plyo (non step)
STS
Core Intensive & Intervals (step or non step)
STS
*Optional Kickboxing or Rest day
Rest

Ok..I feel al ittle better now :) I originally pre-ordered right away but then had to cancel in May when I herniated a disc. I ordered again in August, so there is no telling when mine will ship. I guess I'm going to workout 6 days, with the 3 weight days and 3 cardio. Thanks everyone.
