To the Max done. It was a 42 min premix. Fun. Burned 626 calories. More later. still struggling with a food plan. Upping calories to 1800 for a while. ordered the new workouts minus the bike one.
 
3rd day no workout for me, haven't been sleeping well so I've been dragging this week. I'll get up early tomorrow and get it done. Good night ladies :)

Did a spin workout with DH tonight. My knee seems to be all better, just a 24 hour thing I guess, phew! Eating continues to be my downfall. Someone send me some willpower, please.

Sue, how does one eat 47 grams of fiber in one day? It sounds like a test prep.
 
Woo hoo! I got a workout in today!!! Hiit 30/30, first time I've done it in a while and I still suck wind. Addie did you get your workout in today? Tina I'm glad your knee got all better. I'd send you some of my willpower but I've misplaced it, not so great habits are creeping into my life. Hi Shereta! Have a great weekend ladies :)
 
Hey, Ladies. Today's workout was Burn sets chest back and some of biceps in the am. After work, I walked on the dreadmill for 60min, walked 3.5 miles and burn 600 calories. Tomorrow will be burn sets for shoulders and triceps after Athelit step.
I'm eating low carb and loving it.
 
Today was STS M1D5 and two rounds of STS abs. I did really well eating today, hopefully I can keep this up until vacation. Fingers crossed we can bike outside tomorrow morning. I think the temps are going to be in the 20's in the a.m.

quick checkin. got my workout in on saturday as planned. took a rest day yesterday and today I did athletic trng. Man that's one hard workout . more later
 
Today was STS M1D7 and no equipment abs. I walked our neighborhood loop twice today, so four miles at a moderate pace. Eating is still going fairly well, the thoughts of putting on shorts soon is a good motivator.

My plan is to finish off the rest of Meso 1 and then do a week of the Gym Styles and a week of total body and circuit styles right before we leave for vacation. Then when we return, I'd like to do another full round of STS. Sue, are you still up for another round? :eek:

Addie, you have me craving Afterburn. I'll have to squeeze it in this week.

Haven't worked out since Friday, restarting xtrain rotation tomorrow. I just feel gross, need to start moving again. My diet has been bad too, I'll be cleaning it up.

Addie great job on afterburn! Way to throw yourself into it :)

Tina you always rock the workouts, I'm definitely up for another round of STS after you get back from vaca :). Good job cleaning up the eats!

Hey, ladies. NO workout this evening. I had to go the bank and iron out an issue which got me home late.

My diet is going well. Not only am have I turned Low carb, Im also giving up caffiene and artifical sugar on a regular basis. If I am low on sleep, I may have half a coffee. I read caffeine and artificial sweetner can cause cravings and excess fat for some people. Ever since I started coffee with arificial sweetner, I've been over weight. I've finally decided I've had enough. Tomorrow's my last day of caffeinated coffee. Ive been weening myself off. I have been having decaf tho. There's a small amount of caffeine in that. But, I'm winding that down as well. I feel really good.
 
Hi ladies! I restarted the XTrain 30 day rotation today, burn sets chest back shoulders. Felt good to get back in the saddle.

I made banana bread & swapped out half the vegetable oil for coconut oil, no one noticed any difference (and I didn't tell them). Other than that one indulgence my eating was good today.

Shereta I like how you're weaning yourself off caffeine, maybe some day I'll give it up too. I believe Dr. Perricone says you need to give up caffeine in order for your skin to age well.

Yeah Sue, caffeine and all sugar is what is recommended. But, my motivattion is the cravings they both cause. I'm sipping my last caffeine shot.
 
Sue, what a co-inky-dinky, I made banana bread too. I used BUTTER! Mmmmm... No worry about overendulging, because the two boys in the house devoured it.

Shereta, good luck with the caffeine withdrawl. It's the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning, so I won't be joining you. I'm with you on the artificial sweetner though, yuck. Be careful that you know how your coffee is being decaffeinated, some of those solvents they use are nasty.

Yesterday I did Step Blast and added in the step portion only of SJP; with the abs, it ended up being only 75 minutes. Today was M3D26 plyo legs and some of M1D9 legs. Added in some STS abs later in the day. Saturday is a planned day off, I can't wait.

Not sure what I'll do for cardio tomorrow, I think I need something new...
 
Tina I didn't notice your post until after I posted :).Nice workouts you're doing! Have you tried on your vacation clothes yet?
 
Today was burn sets bis tris + core 1. It was slightly easier than the last time I attempted, but I couldn't do the full situps at Cathe's pace. I weighed in this morning and lost a pound. When I put my new weight in MFP it gave me the option to recalculate my nutrition needs to which I said yes... stupidly. It took away 80 calories per day! Congratulations! Your reward for losing weight is you get to eat even less! I know a smaller body needs fewer calories but I already thought my allowance was too low. Speaking of rewards, I came across this on the web today: "stop rewarding yourself with food, you're not a dog!". woof :).

Shereta how's the no caffeine going? How are you feeling?

Tina what cardio did you do today? I started reading Salt Sugar Fat, written be an investigative reporter about how the food industry manipulates those ingredients to get people to buy more and more of those unhealthy products.

Hey Addie what are you up to? Did you get major DOMS from Afterburn? I couldn't walk right for a week the first time I did that one.
 
The weather forecast was wrong about rain yesterday, so we grabbed our bike lights and went for a night ride. It felt so good to be outside moving. Spring cannot come fast enough! Today is STS M1D8 and abs. Looking forward to a day off tomorrow. I've loaded the second book to A Game of Thrones onto my iPod for this weekend, so I'm actually looking forward to work. I'm still waiting for my library request for Cat's Cradle.

Sue, I love the "You're not a dog" quote. 80 less calories sounds like a major decrease, good luck!

At bookclub this week, a woman brought oatmeal banana nut cookies from a Weight Watches recipe. They were delicious! Only three ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal
2 ripe bananas
1/4 cup crushed walnuts

Mix and bake on parchment paper @ 350 for 15 min. She tossed in a few mini chocolate chips. I can't wait to make some!

Do you gals do a fat loss thread each month :) very motivating! I have been looking for something like this to help w/ accountability so I am glad to have found this.
