Father's Day Wknd Plans???

So what's everyone up to this weekend? Any big plans for Father's Day? I'd personally like to have a baby, but I doubt she's going to be that cooperative. Aside from that, I have a picnic to go to tomorrow and then I'll probably take my dad out to dinner or something on Sunday. Looks like the weather is going to be hot but gorgeous. So what are my fellow Cathletes up to?

Aww, Liann a Father's Day baby would be so sweet! Hang in there, she'll be here before you know it! My SIL was due with her second dd on the 11th and she's still not here! We are going to our cottage on Lake Huron Sunday morning, per DH's Father's Day request. Our weather is going to be beautiful too so I'll be at the beach all day, watching my hubby play with our three girls

Tomorrow I have the Warrior Dash, and it's going to be hotter than hell. Eek!

Sunday, we're not doing much of anything. We had a picnic last Sun at our house for Father's day b/c that's when my dad and DH's dad were available. FIL has to work this Sun. I made DH a blueberry cream pie today, and I will fix him breakfast on Sunday - eggs, sausage, and biscuits. Plan on grilling Sunday night - steak, sweet corn, and don't know what else. So, I guess it sounds like we're eating on Father's Day Probably just chill out. Last weekend was busy, and tomorrow is busy, so chillin' Sunday would be good.

Tonight we are hanging out at home. DH is going to make us baked ziti for dinner! I'm so excited, I can harldy wait! LOL Then his cousin is coming over for a visit so I'm sure we'll have some good laughs.

Tomorrow DH is going to a concert w/friends. He leaves for it early in the afternoon and won't be home until late so it'll be me and my DS hanging out together.

Sunday DH is playing golf in the morning and then we are off to my SIL's to celebrate Father's day there with their dad.

Liann, My son was just shy of being born on Mother's Day. It's nice cause most years that is when we have his party so his Birthday and Mother's Day are done at the same time. This means less traveling for us. Everyone comes to us for a party and we are done!

Janie - We are naming her Akadia Lakeyn. It's a little off the wall and different, but so are we. She will have the exact same initials as me. I'll give her a little belly pat for you.

That's a pretty name, different too. Brings to mind tall, long dark hair, and green eyes to me. But I read too many supernatural and romance novels

Both of our fathers live in distant states, so we'll just e-mail or call and that's about it! Beautiful weather here, too, so we may play tennis or take a bike ride or something!

Liann, I hope Akadia gets here SOON!

We'll be celebrating Daddy Day at the annual Bar-B-Que at my stepson's house. They generally have around 50 people or so, so it's quite a bash! This is only my stepson's second year as an actual Daddy himself, which makes it extra exciting.

Oh, I don't know. I guess I'll NOT have a baby, maybe go for a run. My father left us when I was 5 and died shortly thereafter, so I get to make this day all about me.
