exercices without dumbells

Hi Cathe,

I am going away for 6 weeks and I would like to keep training because I don't want to loose what I have gained so far. I have a lot of your DVDs and I am trying to figure out which one I should bring with me that doesn't required a lot of equipment: I have the Xtrain series, travel kit, HIIT, afetr burn, To the max, etc.

I read your article yesterday about the elastic bands and would like to know if you have a DVD who can really work the same kind of muscles than the one in the Xtrain series.

Also, what kind of workout would you suggest since I can not do the 90 rotation and won't have all the equipment required from those DVDs? I would like to work with the cardio and all the exercices for the upper body.

Thanks

Dany

Not Cathe here, but she has a workout titled "Travel Fit" that was created specifically for those who wanted to keep their muscle conditioning program going while on the road and away from reliable access to weights. You can find it in the "Shop" section of this forum by clicking on the "Strength and Conditioning DVDs" link. It is a total-body muscle conditioning workout using the band and body-weight exercises and brief cardio circuits.

Not Cathe here, here is a vacation rotation on the Rotation Forum: I did that one a few years ago. You can use just the bands/tubing in place of dumbbells. I am going to Germany for almost a month in June . I will bring the vacation rotation with me and my bands/tubing. If you have Cathe's beginner DVD that one uses tubing too. I also bought Turbo Jam Elite from Beachbody.com, which I love!! Charlene uses a lot of tubing, great for vacation. You also find lots of Total Body weight circuits workouts on Pinterest, requires no equipment at all. Except your own bodyweight:D

Hope this helped!

I am planning to go away in July and I am planning to take Travel Fit, Hard Strikes, HIIT Double Wave and Cardio Core Circuit. I will pack a couple of different strength bands and 1lb hand weights. Thinking these should keep me on track!

Slide & Glide (bring discs or use paper plates), turbo barre (just use water bottles for the upper body weight section, still a pretty good workout that way), Yoga Max, Yoga Relax, Stretch Max, Xtrain low impact all out hiit floor and disc sections, any of Cathes ab workouts, Kickmax (low impact premix if disturbing anyone nearby is an issue).
