Edge Booty Extreme Vol 2

Can you smell my credit card smoking? That's the fastest I've spent money in a long time. Jen, I'm going to use these workouts like you are. I'm starting another round of STS in September and will do STS M/T/W and then use EBE2 glutes or legs on Thursday and EBE2 upper body on Friday. I'm so excited for these! :)

Haha! That was me when I got the email and previewed it. It appeared at the perfect time for me--I was actually looking for tough glute workouts! I snatched it right up! I like your plan. I am still playing with my September rotation but I like the way you are planning to do it. I was thinking about doing an EBE2 upper and lower body workouts on Saturdays and alternating them--for instance Weighted Upper Body + Weighted Legs one Saturday then the next Saturday I do Plyo Upper Body + Weighted Glutes. But since I haven't done all the workouts yet I haven't finalized anything. I am also using Pauline Nordin's Butt Bible.

Nathalie--she does both 20 minute and 30 minute doubles. Then during week 7 you do doubles every single day. They are never longer than 30 minutes. The Legs & Glute workouts btw are all 45-54 minutes, but the upper body, Peak Cardio (the HIIT workout) and the cardio workouts that she outlines in the fitness guide are 30 minutes or less.

@jengollf

That is fine , I am not super busy at this point so I can do this.
As to Butt Bible all level 1,2 and 3 are on you tube.

I heard Pauline Nordin mentioning during one of her Q&A , her Butt Bible are no longer under her umbrella.
So the current dvds are being sold by another company than hers! She even added she is not earning anything from it!

This morning I did Weighted Glutes and it is not nearly as challenging as Weighted Legs. It is a great glute workout and I like it a lot, but it not as painful as Weighted Legs! Probably because you use the firewalker band a lot and do a lot of floor work. By the end I was using two bands together to get the most out of the workout.

Glad you are loving your EBE2:)
I have just received an e-mail from ingrid and she confirmed they ship internationally.
At least I have an option to get it shipped straight to europe. How much did you pay for your shipping?
I may just get my purchase shipped at my sister's home in california.

Wooo Ingrid- the trainer is VERY perky and rounded yes---Phew, she has built herself an impressive pair of glute.:D:D
She is holding the talk! Well I still have work to do LOL.
She knows what it takes to build such ASSET! i like when she cues pointers on how to focus
on glute instead of quads. I have viewed some of her vid on you tube.:)

Body Beast Leg workouts are brutal--but they hit the entire lower body and seem to have a big quad focus. Also, the difficulty seemed to eb and flow through Body Beasts workouts--some exercises weren't as brutal, giving you a bit of a rest. Now, I have only done Weighted Legs to date, but this one seems very glute focused plus, every single exercise was equally challenging. I felt like during a superset I got zero breaks. She just pounded my glutes and legs non-stop--and was super happy and excited about burning my glutes to a crisp!

Excellent! Glute pounding is what I need hahaha. My DVD's arrived last night so i'll try weighted legs today and hope I can sit on the plane to vegas tomorrow without a pillow on my bottom LOL!

Nathalie--I paid $7.95 shipping; my total w/ my 20% discount was $79.15. So far I do think it is worth it.

I want to clarify that even tho I found Weighted Glutes a lot easier, I still think it is a great workout and, in fact, compliments Weighted Legs beautifully. And now, several hours after finishing the workout, I am starting to get some DOMS in my glutes. So it looks like it might be one of those workouts that sneaks up on you later! There are several ways to make it more challenging--use both firewalkers at the same time, wear ankle weights, use heavier dumbbells for some of the exercises and use a step for hip thrusts to increase range of motion. Since you do 4 sets of every superset, I did incorporate some of these after the 1st or 2nd superset and they made a difference. This workout also contains the exercise that actually sold me on this program (its shown in the clip)--the kneeling squats. That one is very hard and I had to drop to lighter dumbbells halfway through (after the second superset)!

Yowza I see what you mean about weighted legs LOL! I seriously had to keep pausing the DVD during the last set of exercises with those darn curtsey lunges - oooh she goes sooo low! I tried to do part of the weighted glutes after but couldn't take it anymore and had to stretch. Having trouble walking already...

It's brutal, isn't it? But in a good way! And using the two workouts back to back is possible I think--you just need to swap the order. Do Weighted Glutes first followed by Weighted Legs. You're still going to fry your glutes completely, but I could have done more after Weighted Glutes if I'd wanted to. After Weighted Legs I was done! My lower body would not cooperate after that workout!

I am so tempted by this. I've been looking at the clips for the past few days. As its my birthday this week I may have to get it. I also like the look of the chair conditioning dvd that Mary has on her site. It would be great as an add on.

I was also looking to do another round of STS in September. But I would like something that doesn't require alot of equipment changes. I looked at Cathes Butts & Gutts dvd today and it's still one of my favourite butt dvds and I always come back to Cathe in the end. So I'm still not convinced that $80 is worth the spend.

Choices, choices lol.

I went back and forth because of the price also but really drawn in by the clip. You can return to total fitness even if you view. She just ask that you not abuse the privilege. You can order do the workout one time and if you think its just not worth it then return. I get the price really has to do with selling a "system" which is the going thing with people. The book, band and workouts. I really don't' need any of the extra junk but wanted to try the workouts

the folks like us that are self motivated fitness people don't need to be sold on a "follow my plan and look like this" but the general unfit folks want "magic" and a step by step guide.

I'm pretty sure I'll like the program but if its not really different than cathe then I will return it. I get great result with cathe and been using her for years but wanted to branch out with some new moves/routines kwim

I did Weights + Plyo Legs this morning and it is another brutal workout. I was struggling by the end. Ingrid was too! Now, I LOVE STS Plyo Legs, Xtrain Cardio Leg Blast and the RwH lower body workouts. They are some of my favorite workouts. But even tho they all challenge me, I can get through the entire workouts w/out a problem. Weights + Plyo Legs was much harder IMHO--I was struggling and had to drop my dumbbells near the end just to finish the workout with good form.

I got this set, too! I was enabled on VF. :) So far I have done the Peak Week cardio (tough!) and yesterday I did the Weighted Legs workout. Holy DOMS batman! I woke up this morning wondering if I'd be able to get out of bed. lol Once I got going it was better but I'm pretty sore. I can't wait to try the plyo/weights ones now. I've decided instead of following the guide I'm just going to alternate weeks of the weighted workouts with the weighted/plyo ones for the next month. We'll see, maybe I'll even do it for a total of 6 weeks. I really think anyone who loves Cathe's lower body dvds and Body Beast Legs will love these workouts!

Hi Colleen,

Good to see your post on EBE2. I have missed your heavy load enthusiasm here:);).Thanks for sharing your thoughts:):):)
As to your hightlighted sentence above, I am definitely in;);)

Kind Regards:):)

I did my first workout Weighted Legs and it was killer. There are options and I went with the gym style moves. I started off with my weight bench for a elevated reverse lunge but didn't have any range of motion so I ended up using my high step (5 risers) I tried to match guess weight of the gym girl. I used 10's for all the moves except hiptrust where I used a 15lb and deadlifts I used 2x20.
I usually use heavier weights but the crew didn't have any big dumbells so I took that as sign to keep things light. I finish the workout about a hour ago. My legs are tight and booty hurts. I usually don't get doms till the next afternoon.

I agree with Jengolf even with my lower weight I was wanted to throw them down at the end. There were some moves I could of moved up weight but with the angle of the movement I couldn't keep good form with anything heavier.

I can't wait to try the other workouts. This is different enough from cathe that I will keep the set. I love cathe workout and my favorite lower body work is RWH legs but I really wanted to change thing up.

THis set reminds me of workouts I see in the fitness mags . the ones I always want to try but usually pull out a cathe dvd instead.
