drill max - as I lay on the floor, looking at the ceiling :-)

This morning I tried doing the entire drill max - before I had only done premixes. It absolutely kicked my butt. My HRM said I burned 611 calories, which for me is a record.

Has anyone else ever ended up lying on the floor after the stretch is over, looking at the ceiling and wondering, what truck just ran over me?

That's how I felt today! Eventually I want to conquer this DVD-beast.

LOL,I have yet to conquer the beast yet...but did get to the 5th drill :+

April-I too felt that way after doing all of BM2,the one time that is,LOL

You guys are AMAZING, getting through all of BM2. I haven't even tried that yet. The fear is too great :)

During the 6th drill of drill max, mainly I was marching in place with a dazed and totally out of it feeling, haha.

Holy moly, I'm previewing Body Max 2 right now & was wondering the same thing--how in heck is it possible to get through the entire workout?! Just looking at the chapter list of all the exercises made me breakout into a cold sweat with fear. I'm definitely in awe of you gals!

Out of curiousity, how long did it take to get to that level of endurance in order to do the whole workout? :)
 
I hear ya!! The big red Mack Truck come barreling thru the room at about drill 3. The freight train follows in drill 6 after the squat thrusts :)
 
I was feeling pretty smug until the squat thrust "train" hit me. The first time I just started laughing and thought "you gotta be kidding." But I'm thrilled to say I got through the entire workout and gave the TV a "take that!" when I finished drilled 6 and put my sticker on my Cathe calendar. WAY TO GO on finishing the whole thing Ann!!!

Cathe is just plain evil for creating Drill Max. It's not the squat thrusts in Drill 6 that kill me it's those darn reach lunges afterward. My legs are so shot by that point I can barely keep my balance. My favorite part of Drill Max is the end.

OMG! I totally agree - those darn reaching ball lunges. I am just "so done" at that point !!

Yes, but it is probably my favorite of all! am doing it tomorrow and actually looking forward to it! i think I like it because it make me feel like an athlete;-)

For me the absolute worst part of DrillMax is Cardio #1 'line taps', I HATE THEM!!x( }( I guess the mercy is that once that part is over I can 'enjoy' the rest of the workout....perhaps 'survive' is a better choice of words.:D I did the Cardio/Leg Blast premix this morning...when you start the day like that, conquering the rest of the day seems easy:)

I'm 24 years old and in pretty decent shape...DRILL MAX kicks my butt every time. Cathe is like SUPERWOMAN! She amazes me how she can keep her cool and maintain conversation through these workouts! I can keep up with drill max (for the most part;-) but the BODY BLAST part of KICK MAX IS something I don't know I can EVER MASTER!!!! Damn near gives me a heart attack....lol
