Down 4 more inches!

Hi everyone!

I had hubby measure me again. I am down 4 more inches in 4 weeks following my rotations!! :-jumpy I just wanted to share my excitement. I have completed week 1 of this 3rd rotation and today started day 8. I have been faithfully following a regimated eating plan with 1 free day off every 2 weeks. (usually on a Saturday) I lost most of my inches from my upper thigh (right up under the fold of my buttock) and from my mid thigh (about three inches up from the knee). Thanks for listening.......I feel that this forum is the place to share all of our successes! :)

I hope...

...I'll have the same success with your rotations!!! Can't wait for the CTX series to start, so I'm gonna kinda modify the PS series this week to get myself in the habit of AM workouts!!! I think going back to central standard time should help...I'm so tired right now!!! Anyway-congrats on your success :D

Congrats to you! That is fabulous! I hope you could share with us your eating plan. Please be specific. Im trying to lose weight myself and Im doing the protein diet. However, it's tough, my body is craving carbs.I work out 2 hrs a day and I just eat twice a day. But how come I just lose 1 lb a week?! I was hoping for at least 2 lbs. Im 5'4 and weigh 130 lbs right now.My measurements now are 34-26 1/2-36 1/2. My problem are my hips and thighs. I wanna get down to 115 lb which is actually my weight before.Could you share with us your rotation. PLEASE HELP! Thanks so much!

Hi Farmgirl & Hippychick! Thanks for your encouraging words. I do the following: 3 times per day (usually every 3 hours) I drink a EAS Advantage ready to drink protein shake and I then mix up 1 scoop of additional protein in it. My 4th meal consists of a regular, PORTIONED quantity of a protein/carb meal. (example--my hubby makes a great brown rice mixture with lean ground sirloin, green pepper, onions, etc) Then we portion out servings and put them in containers so we can just grab them, heat them up and be done with it. So far it's working. I am 110% dedicated to doing it this time. Hippychick, I would suggest doing more floor work using leg weights. Try to do something "extra" 4-5 days out of the week to really hit those areas. Like I said, thus far I have FINALLY thinned out my thighs. (so I must be doing something right) I sure hope this helps. Keep me posted!! ;-)

Denise that is great. I want to start your rotation tomorrow. I was going to do another one and did day one of it today but noticed the rotation only works a certain upper body part every other week and I would like to keep with the weight training also, it uses a lot of step and I have to be careful on that. I see yours doesn't use step (if it does, it is minimal) and also includes floor work : )

The meals you cook, is there a cookbook or any recipes you follow?
The funny thing is my mom-n-law bought the body for life book last week and said that it sounded interesting and thought I would like it. I am going to read the book when she is done. I can't see my exercising changing but believe me my eating habits need to change.
So I am reading your post correctly, you have three shakes (one for breakfast, lunch, snack) and then a one regular proportioned meal? It almost sounds like the slim-fast diet except you use the protein shakes. Do you feel up on the shakes?
Any other info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. If you want to e-mail me offsite, [email protected].
Thanks,
Rhonda

Hi Denise.

I just joined up at Cathe today. I was looking through all the comments, and saw your "lost 4 inches". What is a rotation and how does it work? Is it exercise or diet? And what is the diet other people are asking you about?
Would you please reply in your spare time what it is that you're doing that's working so well for you?

Thanks!!!!

Ruth

rotations

Ruth, I'm sure Denise or some of the others will be happy to share their personal rotation secrets. But check out Video Fitness's 2/9 Forum Highlights for a wonderful explanation of exercise rotations. The link to forum highlights is on their home page http:/www.videofitness.com.

While a rotation refers to exercise, diet is important. One will obviously get much better results if they're eating healthfully. Believe me, there is a wide interpretation of what is a healthy diet for an active person.
