DOMS with PLB

Hi,

I have done B&G, L&G, GSL, etc., and never experienced DOMS. However, I just did PLB for the first time yesterday and woke up with DOMS. Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't feel like I worked out any harder than I normally do. Could it be that other muscles are being targeted in PUB versus the other ones I mentioned. Couldn't do anything but yoga today...Ouch!
 
Good going with PLB. Did you use heavier weights? I usually get DOMS when I try a new workout.
 
I'm like you, this is the only lower body workout that gives me DOMS for 3 days especially if I go heavier.

You don't get DOMS from Gym Style Legs or Butts and Gutts?!?!?!?! Holy cow!

Anyhoo, it's probably because PLB is new to you and it shook up your muscles differentely than the other w/o's do. Your body becomes accustomed to a workout which is why it's good to change things around a little.

HA! :) I did PLB on Tuesday and still have DOMS TODAY! And guess what! PLB is NOT new to ME! LOL I've been using it on a regular basis (about once, sometimes twice, a week since October) and I STILL get DOMS from it. Now, keep in mind I'm using a barbell at 42.5/52.5/62.5, BUT STILL! It's an AWESOME WORKOUT and those Leg Presses are WONDERFUL for my BEhind! LOL

ENJOY the DOMS! And go out and get them AGAIN!:)

Running actually makes my DOMS go away a little faster!
 
I go as heavy as I can and PLB gives me DOMS every time I do it after not doing it regularly for a while...especailly in my hamstrings. As a matter of fact, I plan on doing PLB tonight! I think the floor work is the perfect finishing touch on this workout!!!
