I am proof you can DO IT! Don't get discouraged!
About 6 months ago, I was an extreme step novice. By extreme, I mean I had never "stepped" in my life or even seen one in person for that matter. Intensity was my very first step video (ya, I know what you are thinking. What kind of nut bag goes to a hard video like that right?). Well, I saw the previews for Intensity and it looked "easy enough". I thought I could get it down within a try or two (that's my cocky side coming out full force). I ended the video confused, humbled and "un-sweaty" cuz' I just stood around thinking "what the heck?". I was convinced step was not my thing. I just plain sucked at it. Then I saw Basic Step and purchased that, wanting to give step another chance. I sucked at that one too. I was discouraged but also curious as to how so many people could "get this" and actually be good at it.
So here I am 6 months later (and many step video's later). I still think I am not the best stepper out there, but I am making progress. Step Challenge was for me what the title says, A Challenge, but I am proud to say that I nailed this one! I am so happy that I did, not because it's difficult and I want to show off (that's what IMAX3 is for) but because I persevered and proved to myself that anything is possible........even if you suck at it.
