Did HIS for the first time...

today. Wowie! What a fun and all-round challenging workout! My mind and my body felt well challenged. I decided for the sake of my kness that I shouldn't use the step at all and I'm glad I did. I struggled with the choregraphy of combos 3 and 4, but I figured most Catheites did so I was in good company. I know I'll "get" them down soon enough. Besides, part of the fun of Cathe's cardio is the learning process, right? ;)

Just had to share my excitement for this 'new to me' workout... :)

That one is on my list to try after I recover from my c-section.. I have the 4DS since it released but I was pregnant and didnt try it all (only previewed) Then the c-section came and I had to wait a little more...
bootcamp cardio and HIS, Im comming!

I just did this one today. This is probably only the 4th or 5th time I've done it and it is now starting to click, although I still have some issues with combo 3 when my back is to the TV. It is fun, especially when you start to "get it".

I had to chime in...I've had 4ds in my rotation this month and I am getting the cardio. HIS is challening but boy does it feel good when you start to get it. I'm also finding and feeling more strength...yea...feels good to improve.

I have had the 4DS sitting by the dvd player for months. When I found out I was pregnant I decided to wait until I delivered to try them. Well, I am 14 weeks along now and thought why wait and decided to try them. I just absolutely love that series! I think HIS is my favorite, and the back and chest workout is a killer(in a good way:D). You are right though, it is going to take me 4-5 times to get the cardio right, but that is half the fun!

I really like HIS. It's one of my favorite of her step routines. It took me a few tries, but I really like it, even the blasts.

For those having trouble with Combo 3, Cathe posted the breakdown awhile back. I printed it out and went through it slowly without the DVD and then sped up until I could do it with Cathe. Might help somebody else, too.

OK, y'all are making me want to attempt this now!! HA! I *just* mastered LIS this week (took a month) but it's time for a new mental challenge. I've been practicing a little--popping it in for a few minutes and going through it without the step but after reading these posts, I think it's time to give it a shot on Thursday (tomorrow is 4DS Shoulder day in my house, LOL.) I'll let everyone know how it goes...but I have a feeling it will be harder to master because of the "back to the screen" moves. But looking forward to the challenge all the same!

I love some of the fresh, new choreography in HIS and LIS. I hope that Cathe makes a new all step workout meshing these two intensities together, keeping the new, fresh, somewhat more complex choregoraphy!!!

I really love HIS. The music is the best part, IMHO. The moves are just so fun and Cathe is at her best. It's a great workout--both the weights AND the cardio!

I recently bought 4DS & I love it! I'm pretty new to Cathe; the only other DVD I have of hers is Low Impact Step. 4DS is perfect as my schedule is too busy to allow more than a 1 hour workout each day. I did LIS (step only) for about a week straight until a mastered it & just alternated the weight sections of the other DVDs. Just started trying HIS & it's tricky, but so much fun! The music and fun routines just make you want to keep doing it until you get it down. I love the step & hope that Cathe makes more like it!
