Damage Control..Week of July 10th! :)

I ended up doing BM2 original cardio & circuits this morning and will need to get ready for bootcamp in a few minutes.

Lori-so glad to hear from you. You know, we still want you to post even if you aren't working out right now. We are still your friends missy! Sometimes eating is the only that helps you feel better, until suddenly you don't. I totally get that.

Wendy-Amy Dixon, hmmm..I'll have to go check her out. OMG I would be so pissed about the sim card. So what kind of phone did you get? I love my motorola Atrix!
 
Happy Friday Ladies,

Looks like I was the last to post last night. My body is super sore from bootcamp last night. This morning I'm thinking of doing 4DS KB cardio and abs.

OOOOhhhhhh, my weight is down 4.1 since Monday. I'm sure its mostly water weight, but I'll take it! My normal weigh in day is either W or Th, but I'm going to change it to Friday's going forward. That gives me an entire week to work any damage from the previous weekend!

Good Morning.

This morning I was originally going to take as a rest day to finish off my active recovery week but after last night's dinner and knowing what's on tap for tomorrow night's meal, I got up and worked out. :p I did my other new vid by Amy Dixon-Kickin' Strength. It's a circuit work out but I omitted the strength and just did the cardio and core. It was fun but the cardio was definitely on the easier side IMO. Good core routine though!

Diana:: Yay for the weight loss! The water is where it starts! I lost 3# my first week on WW and no doubt it was from water weight! Now keep it up! I got the Samsung Dart phone. It's a newer android phone that T Mobile offers. I like it but am not used to a touch screen phone so it's taking some getting used to-mostly where texting is concerned. Oh and the missing SIM card was a false alarm. It was in my phone the entire time! LOL Verizon doesn't use SIM cards so I had no idea what it would look like. Thankfully my coworker had me open my phone and so she could look and recognized it immediately! :rolleyes: I felt silly but was happy I didn't have to wait to use it. :D
 
Hey Wendy,

Good for you for getting up and working out! I went from a blackberry to an Atrix with the touch screen, huge learning curve for me. My phone has a voice to text option which is very nice. It records what you say, you can review and edit if necessary and send without having to text by hand. Your phone probably has that too. Enjoy your new phone...see if they have an online tutorial...helps me out a lot.

By the way, I did 4DS KB cardio only premix with weighted gloves. It was a great w/o for me this morning since I was short on time.

Di, I will have to see if I have talk to text option. that would be good for when I'm in the car. I am sure that's what it was invented for anyway! Otherwise I have discovered an option on my phone called SWYPE which I am starting to use and it's making it easier/faster to text using the touch keyboard. YAY! Yup, 4ds KB is a goodie for sure! :D
 
Wendy-I forgot about swype, I only used it a tad and then starting using voice to text. A lot of folks use swype, good luck with it.
 
Di:: My DH found the talk to text option on my phone. I'll have to mess around with it. TY for mentioning it. SWYPE is really cool. I'm lovin' it! Makes me feel less disappointed that I don't have a regular keyboard on my phone. I downloaded facebook for android this morning. Tried finding Cathe's app quickly but no luck. I'll look again tonight.

Time to clean up from dinner and get crackin on makin' dessert for DH's B'day tmrw! Wish me luck! :eek:
 
Hi Ladies,

This morning will be cardio of choice. I'm leaning towards Cardio Fusion Mix and Max 80 min premix! What are you up to today?

I skipped the scale this morning since I had 1 mojito and a large homemade brownie last night. I'm going to have to find a lower point adult beverage to enjoy. The Mojito mix is full of sugar...and calories...and points OH MY! Too bad I like sweet drinks like mojito's and amaretto sours.

Diana, Skinny Taste has a mojito recipe on it. I think it's liquor free but if it's low in points to start with then you could add the rum and probably still be ok...or atleast better off then you are with the mix that you are using! Check it out! Worth a shot!
 
I did CF Mix & Max 80 min cardio...I'm wiped for the day. Just doing laundry and running errands the rest of the day.

Wendy-thanks for the suggestion. It's always good to know there is an alternative and I don't have to give up my Mojito's.
 
Wendy-OMG, this is a great mojito! I'm using one of the recipes off skinnytaste, 4pts instead of 7...yay...and it's delicious too! Were gonna have to tell Lori about the Nojito, the non-alcholic one. Thanks for the suggestion girl!

Yesterday's work out was KCM's NYC Body Sculpting. GOOD STUFF! My biceps are rockin' the DOMS this morning and I only used 8# DB's! :D

Today will be a cardio of choice and I haven't chosen yet so I'll BBL to report on that!:)

Had DH's family down and we all went out to dinner and then back to our house for dessert. The dinner (pizza) was fabulous as it always is at this restaraunt and dessert was a smash hit! I made chocolate chunk bread pizza ala' Skinny Taste and served it with Vanilla Ice Cream, ff Cool Whip and cookies. YUM! Everyone LOVED it! :)

Today we are planning on spending a few hours at DH's cousin's house. He has a pool so we'll go hang out and catch some sun. Works for me cause I really want to get a tan this summer.....:cool:

Good Morning,

This morning I did Lowmax and abs from power hour and leaner legs! I also took the girls to the playground for about an hour. The temp is supporsed to be 97-101 today so I told them we had to go in the morning.

I used my time at the playground to get in some ab work too. I used the monkey bars and did leg lifts and knee lifts for abs.

Wendy-I'm not sure how WW figures the points for alcohol. It pretty much says 1.5 oz of bourbon, rum, scotch, etc is 4 pts. Light rum only has 68 cals, no fat, carbs, or fiber...not sure what macronutrients make up the cals. Oh, I just did some more research. 1g of alcohol is 7 calories.
 
Today's work out was IMAX3 with jump rope during the blasts.

Spending the afternoon by the pool was fun and went food shopping straight from there. Got home about 6:30 and I'm exhausted. Groceries aren't even unpacked yet. I made a cup of coffee and just wanted to sit down for a few....

Sandwiches for dinner tonight! No cooking for this tired sun-soaked mamma! :p

Diana:: IDK either but was told to always use the pre-entered points for alcohol cause using the calculator won't give you the right number..?? :confused: They must have had to use some other calculaton just for alcohol I guess. No biggie...

K, gotta go, things to do before I pass out!:p

Today is cardio of choice. Imax 3 or KPC I think.

DH made dinner the last two nights, ugh....he mixes all kinds of crap together and now my weight is up even more than it was a week ago when I went back to WW. I try not to complain too much, but he made potatoes, cheese, polish sausage etc in the crock pot, then added biscuits and potato salad. I cannot take all those carbs and the fat from the polish sausage seeping into the potatoes...yuck. When I cook dinner we have a lean protein source, steamed veggies, and occasionally baked potatoes or biscuits. I'm sure most of it's water, but just the same its like all the WW effort last week was futile. Very frustrated this morning.

Wendy-Nice w/o! What do you use in place of the sandbag? It looks like a kettlebell might work.

Laura-I saw you pic on FB, looks like your trip was successful!

Lori-how was your weekend?
 
Diana:: I used (2) 15# kettlebells. I tried to make a sandbag but it was too hard to hold. Not sure that will work for me. I'm not worried. Weight is weight. I'll make it work using others means.... :) Sorry about the frustration from the bad eats this weekend.I know how you feel. I am up as well. I was bad thursday night at a dinner with work people, saturday at Dh's B'day dinner and Sunday when I went to his cousin's pool. OY. Sunday wasn't nearly as bad as the other 2 days and my weight was still down a bit afterwards but not as much as it could have been had I not cheated. Be as good as you can be for the rest of the week and the weight will come down. You are right-it's likely just water. You don't gain weight THAT fast. I know it still sucks to see the # go up though. :(
 
Hey Ladies - MONDAY >> UGH

Hey Ladies -

We had a great vaca - last days of deep sea fishing - and weather was HORRIBLE - thank goodness fishing was good - but we had STORMS every day - and seas averaged 3 - 4 ft - and SAT was THE WORST - looked like an episode from Deadliest Catch - winds - water blowing over the boat - people falling and stumbling - terrible!!! Thank goodness we caught fish!! But I am one TIRED girl today! I should have abs and back muscles of steel - from the seas and trying to balance and not fall - plus got a workout pulling up fish from 125 Ft - but NO OTHER exercise to report - and tonights class is gonna KILL ME!! :confused: I am skeeered!!!!

Wendy - so you are on bodyrock rotation now - WTG - I am gonna start week 1 meso 3 over again tmrw - since I didnt have enough weight really last week!! couldnt get out of bed this morning - I am spent from four days of 5 a.m. wake up call - fighting seas and winds and storms and fish - ugh!! But glad we went - and we did have a great time despite bad weather!!!

DI - I feel like I have gained weight - b/c I ate nothing but CRAP all vaca .. PLUS I should turn into a CAB - :eek: - started early EVERY day b/c of bad weather - (scared of lightning at sea)- but I will be doing major DAMAGE CONTROL now!!! for sure

Lori - hope you are feeling better now!!

OK - soooooo tonight is circuit .. it is gonna kill me .. will be sweating out CABS ... and goodness knows I have an OVERLOAD to sweat out!! :eek: :p:p have a great one!;)
 
So I did BodyRock's Marine Corps w/o (7/12) this morning. :eek::eek::eek: It was about 30 mins of HELL! LOL I messed it up quite a few times too cause it was kinda complicated and it's hard to read what you are supposed to do next when you are exhausted!:p It's okay tho cause regardless I was workin' my tail off, panting and sweating the entire time! So much so that I acheived the biggest puke status EVER!!!!! Felt that way for about 30 minutes post work out!!! Did STS extended stretch afterwards and it wasn't very relaxing because I thought I was going to hurl through most of it. LOL

Seriously...I started a new thread yesterday for us and both of you posted in the old thread. I even posted this morning in the new thread so it would be on top...:confused: Guess we should just continue with this thread since nobody took my lead.

Anyway, I did KPC this morning and want to do Wendy's BR w/o tomorrow or Thursday. My body hurt so bad this morning. You can read my bootcamp w/o on the other thread.

Wendy-OMG, I previewed that w/o this morning...looks super brutal..but now I want to do it too!

Laura-What was your w/o last night? I'm starting back meso 3 this week so we can finish this rotation together!
