Hi Ladies,

Just getting the new month started for us. Hope everyone is out enjoying their long weekend!
 
Hey Girls.

I was in AC since Thanksgiving night. Got home this afternoon. We lost but we had a good time!

On Turkey day I did some HC intervalled with kb swings (30 secs). On Friday I did MCT wk 5 day 14. Saturday was MCT wk 5 day 15. Then tonite before dinner I did CPT Turkish Delight #1 (2 get ups per side repeated for five mins. No rest.) followed by HC (no swings this time). I do more and more of HC each time I do it so I just might finish this one some day! LoL.

Morning Ladies!

Had a nice long weekend .. ystdy was way too busy to post .. first of month after a holiday .. :confused::confused::confused: ... so I am posting before the next round of people hit! We had an "eventfull" holiday .. but in the end it all worked out and had nice visits and great food .. and better than that .. AUBURN WON THE IRON BOWL :eek: :D:D:D:DWOOOOHOOOOOOOO AND WAAAAAARRRRRR EAGLE .. NOW IT IS ON TO THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP game!! BTW ... it was an AWESOME GAME!!!

No exercise to report over the long weekend I was too busy busting my butt cleaning house (which should count as exercise) and cooking!! Last night after work I did Combat Plyo HiiT ... left w/red face .. LOL!!! tonight will prbly be supercuts!

Wendy - hate you didnt win in AC .. too bad .. but sounds like you had a great time anyways!!! I cant wait for our trip to Biloxi coming up!!! great workout again .. of course!

Di - did you do any shopping??? hope you had a great holiday!

Hi Ladies,
Yesterday was an awesome w/o day. I did BR# 7 in the morning, bootcamp at night, then STS disc 11 when I got home from bootcamp. I'm doing STS week 4 a second time since my bicep & shoulder strength is lacking a bit.

This morning was BR #8. I think tomorrow will be CLB or leg w/o of choice.

I think I found a college that Jerod will like. It's a division II school, about 1 1/2 hrs from home. It's a small school but they do have an engineering shool and a football where he has a chance to play. I hope to schedule a visit for over Christmas break.

TG-hope you feel better. That's a pretty good w/o for being sick.

Laura-Glad you had a wonderful long weekend. It's okay to takes breaks from working out every now and then. Our bodies need that time to recover and improve so we come back even stronger! No Black Friday shopping for me. I did order a new monitor for DS1 yesterday. Other than that, I've only purchased a few small things for the girls. I think we are getting them bikes from Santa.

Wendy-There is no doubt in my mind that you will conquer HC! That girl is super tough. I can't believe how dedicated you are, that you w/o on vacation...every time!

Morning Ladies ..

Ystdy - we did supercuts .. it was good ..my butt is kinda sore this morning ... today will either be combat POWER hiit or T25 core cardio!

Di - we were so busy at work I didnt get to do any cyber shopping .. congrats on maybe finding a college!!! hope it works out .. wow that was a lot of workouts ystdy .. :eek: ..

TG - another good workout - you must be feeling better - i have an absessed tooth of ALL things .. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.. ticks me off!!!!!!

Wendy - I did check out that site .. she does seem to have some tuff workouts on it .. yikes!! WTG girl!!

Hey Ladies. :)

I ended up taking 2 rest days in a row (Mon/Tues).
Not by choice though. :mad:
Today I got in a good Turbulence Training work out to make up for it! Short but intense!:eek:

I started with...

4x20/10 - jacks
4x20/10 - tricep push ups
8x20/10 - squats
4x20/10 - mountain climbers
4x20/10 - prisoner lunges

THEN I added the
following single rep circuit done continuously for
5 mins (rest only when needed):

1 jumping lunge per side
1 squat thrust
1 burpee
1 lateral jump per side
1 Spider-Man climb per side

That would probably have killed me! :eek: My work outs are uber short these days and I have so many no equipment options that I'd be embarrassed to say I couldn't fit it in on vacation! I TRIED to give it up in AC but that lasted all of one visit and then I was right back to working out! :rolleyes: Hi. My name is Wendy and I am addicted to my exercise routine! :D

This morning's work out::

CTP app Turkish Delite #1 (5 mins of get ups)

ZShred # 25 (15 min AMRAP of 20 low jacks, 30 weighted step ups, 20 rear lunge kick ups, 10 high jumps, 20 mountain climbers)

Turbo Training Combo Gauntlet Special Finisher (4x thru circuit of 8 burpees with spider push ups, 15 one arm kettlebell swings left, 8 burpees with X-body mountain climbers and 15 one arm kettlebell swings right)

PUKE FACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

But it's done!:D
 
Hi Ladies,

Tuesday night I didn't sleep, tossed and turned and was very tired yesterday. No workout to report for yesterday. Oh, and all I did was eat all day long-GGRRR.:mad: Today will be CLB and I have class tonight unless it is cancelled. This cold front is bad, it is -9 right now with a high of 9 for the day.

Wendy-your w/o's sound so awesome! What is the CTP app? I do have the Max Capacity app. Once I get to my goal weight I would like to try using the short/intense w/o for maintenance. Of course we all now I love to w/o, it's the food that's a problem for me. Focusing on food (not overeating) will be key.

TG-Hope you were able to get that tooth taken care of and you are pain free now.

Laura-sounds like you are a busy girl!

Di:: Sorry you didn't sleep well. I know all too well how that is. Hope last night was better for you! CTP is Circuit Training Pro. It's a pretty cool little app but I've only done a very small handful of the workouts on it. The free version is called Circuit Training Assistant if you want to "try before you buy" though it's not expensive at all. ITA that diet is the hardest part for sure! Hang in there. You are doing awesome on WW! :D

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I backed it way down for this morning's work out after y'day's near-death experience! :eek::p

I did a long warm up with extra foam rolling and then 3 times through this non-weighted circuit::

SB Ball 10 sec Bridge hold
10 reverse lunges right leg
10 SB kneeling roll outs
10 reverse lunges left leg

Then I did one round of hand to hand kb swings with a lighter kb then usual....8@15/15

I am having some issues with my shoulders and my left hip as of late. Been going hard steadily for a while now. I think I need to scale it back a notch and let my body heal. I'm going to TRY to keep the really intense work outs down to 3x per week and fill in the other 3 days with lighter work outs and/or yoga.

Tmrw I am going to a seminar for my PT job. My boss is going to. I'm looking forward to it except for the fact that I have to be out of my house at 6am tmrw morning! :eek: It's an all day seminar that runs from 8-4 with an hour lunch break so I won't be home until dinner time! Long day with an hour's car ride to start and end it! :eek:

TG:: I can't remember what L&G Extreme is like but knowing Cathe, it got ya good! Great job! :D

Hey Ladies ..

Had an ALL DAY meeting ystdy :confused: :( :confused: geesh!!! it DRAINED me!!! I thought people wouldn never be quiet!! GEESH!!! no exercise to report - went home our hunter cooked for us .. was NICE!!! It is DREARY and MUGGY and HOT out today - 80 degrees .. and nasty!! YUCK!!! to rain the next few days too .. to get a little cooler tmrw .. then TUE the temps should take a good low dip!! Hard to imagine we have storm teams going to help out TX and AK b/c of ICE and SNOW!!! and here we are melting .. short sleeves and shorts!! :confused:

Wendy - yup - you need to lighten up some - do one day hard one day light for a while .. give your body a break!!! GREAT workouts tho .. oh .. that website was something like lovingfit.com .. ??? ....

Di - it was me w/the tooth .. nope not fixed just on antibiotics and hoping nothing major happens till I can get it fixed .. I go to specialist next TUE .. nope not pain free .. but surely not in as much pain as my dentist thinks I should be (he apparantly has never had chronic kidney stones - now THAT is pain) .. I am just hoping that pain he is talking about is not COMING!! :confused: Your temps are BRUTAL!!!! YIKES!!!!!

TG - the words legs and glutes extreme just SOUNDS painful!!!

OK ... sooooooooo tmrw is the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME in Atlanta- we play Missouri ------ VBF and her hubby and some other friends are going .. wish we could go .. I would love it .. but tickets are way too expensive .. plus i can have my CABS ever flowing and cuss as much as I want at my tv ... and not worry about getting into a fight .. LOL :eek: :p!!!!! WAAARRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!! Hope we can pull off another win!!!

I do plan on getting a good long hard workout in before I blow it on snacks and CABS!!!!! have a great weekend!!

Can you believe I am still in bed and it feels so dang good. Yesterday, workout forgot to posts. I did Lowmax and d-8 back and triceps. Have a wonderful day all;)

Hi Ladies.

So Saturday was the Perform Better Seminar that I attended with my boss. Great day! No work out though - I was up at 4:30am. Out of the house at 6:00am in the cold rainy darkness. UGH. Did not get home until close to 5:30 that evening and was exhausted. I managed to cook dinner and had a couple of drinks while we watched our shows but my eyes were fighting to stay open before 11pm even hit!

Yesterday was Church, house cleaning, nap time :), food shopping, cooking dinner and then finally a work out. I scaled it back A LOT to be kind to my shoulder and hip. Here's what I did::

5 mins of foam rolling and a short warm up.

10 mins of corrective exercise for the shoulders - kb halos, kb bottoms up squats, indian clubs....

10 mins of corrective exercise for lower body - sb bridge holds and light weight rear lunges...

10 mins of stretching and foam rolling.

I didn't even break a sweat but I sure felt it.

My shoulder felt pretty good post work out but I decided to ice it for a while while we watched tv after my work out b/c when my knee has bothered me in the past, icing definitely helped. After that I put icey hot on it. When I went to bed it felt good. Now? OMG it's killing me!:eek: It started hurting in the middle of the night. I'm guessing it's from however I had been sleeping. I put more icy hot on it and took advil when I got up. I'm hoping it helps. :confused:

Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I did STS disc 13....yay for Meso 2-my favorite, and BodyRock Day 15. Day 15 is an 1 hour long tough circuit followed by 15 minutes of hard ab work. I was was spent after that. Can't remember what I did Saturday. :eek:

I cleaned out some of my closet and dressers. The donation truck is coming tomorrow. I still need to clean out the girls closet and get their room ready for them. Also, my Christmas tree is not up. That is on the agenda for next weekend.

I'm trying to schedule an mri and visit with the orthopedic surgeon for the first of the year. My PT thinks its a meniscus tear. An MRI should give a clear diagnosis. Whatever it is, I want it taken care of as early as possible as I have 3 triathlons on the agenda for next year.

Wendy-Sorry your knee and shoulder are bothering you. Best to cut back a bit and let them heal. Ice is your friend. Sounds like the seminar was great. I downloaded the Circuit Training Assistant to my tablet and may give those a try when the girls are here. They love doing those short w/o's!

TG-love lounging in bed, it doesn't happen nearly enough though. Nice w/o's girl!

Laura-Did you enjoy the game...cursing in the comfort of your own home!:p I saw they won!!!!:D:D:D:D How's the tooth? Hope the specialist is able to resolve your pain.

Sooooo had a good weekend - lol - I managed to do cathe cardio supersest sat .. but had LARGE HEAD SUN .. I have done nothing but eat and drink this weekend .. I gotta get back on track .. crap!!!

Wendy - eeeeouch - hope the injuries heal up!!! keep being kind to your shoulder and hip for a while .. let it heal!!!

Di - tooth is still bothering me .. go to specialist tmrw .. ugh .. dreading it!

TG - press play is my all time favorite cc!!! luv it - great workout too!

trying to keep my head up on this monday .. soooo proud of my tigers .. but had some bad memories brought back up ystdy - and just reminded me .. NO ONE has your back . . dissapointing... well DH has mine thank God!
