Daily CheckIn: Wednesday, October 5

Hi good morning everyone. Yesterday I did Mix it Up of the Slim Series, the TJ 20 minutes workout and 1 hour in my stationary bike. Today I will substitute Tone it Up of the Slim Series with ME and I will do Turbo Jam too. Have a great day everyone.

I did MIS shoulders, PLB floorwork, and selected plie squats with cross behind lunges off of L&G, and for cardio I did the 8 min. taebo. Gave my abs a break today,LOL!!

I am happy to report that this is the first week that for 3 days in a row I have maintained my weight below where I want to keep it!! YIPPEE for ME!!!:7 :7
 
I also did GS CT and coremax 2. I was wishing I had done core first too. It was brutal holding myself in the plank position on the ball for the roll ins and jack knives.

On GS CT it always seems to me that she works triceps 6 ways to Sunday, or at least more than chest. This is possibly because there are so many different type of triceps exercises compared to chest.

I have a pretty good cold going, but I'm happy that I can still workout (symptoms above my neck only). Cardio is a little tougher to do, but weights are great.

Cathy- The freestyle system is working nicely . I find my legs tight ands sore more often but the increased spinning for cardio may contribute also. I plan on continuing it for as long as it works.

This week I am incorporating one UB part each day also and trying to fit in 1 pilates class, one yoga DVD, and four-five 30" cardio spinning sessions.

PS-Tammy & Becky- I do every single push up in GS Chest on my toes in real time. But I do moan and groan.

Hi everyone,

I did StretchMax #3 this morning. Of those three workouts, I think the first does the best job.

Wendy - I can relate to feeling like that. I'm feeling that way myself these days. I have a very hard time eating clean when I'm tired, stressed, and not able to exercise because I crave the carbo boost from junk food. When I exercise, it seems to give me the "hit" that I need. I hope you get back on track soon. You've been doing so well lately. This is just a little blip in the grand scheme of things.

Carole - Kate is doing really well! She had her nights and days completely mixed up when she was born, but I've managed to switch her around on that, so I actually manage to get 5-7 hours of (interrupted) sleep at night. Have fun with those BB premixes!

I have yet to try the GS CST workout, and the way you are all talking today, I gather I'm in for quite a workout, when the time comes! Good work, everyone!

Sandra~So nice to see you back here for a check-in and glad to hear that you got the little bundle on the right schedule so quickly!:) It took me much longer to accomplish that feat! lol

So I went food shopping today so I have good food in the house again, I exercised so I am feeling great right now AND the stress I was feeling the past couple days has been alleviated as the events or done and overwith. Now I can get back to my regularly scheduled life! :p

I did Step Works combos 1 & 2 for 30 mins cardio and 425 calorie burn! }(

Hi all. Late check in today. I did IMAX 2 this morning. Yesterday I did PUB and a 20 minute run.

Sandra - I actually made homemade apple pie for DH's birthday. It's his Mother's recipe and his absolute favorite. I'm not a huge apple pie fan, but I have to admit it was pretty darn good. I hope all is going well with you and little Kate.

Awww...thanks Carole and Becky.

Becky...I have just always loved push-ups. I think having a really strong core helps. Just try to do one more than you think you can each and everytime. Before you know it, you'll be doing all 72!
