Good morning Fitness ladies,

Last evening: S&H shoulders, pilates lower body workout, PLB deadlifts and calf work, and walking lunges.

Tonight: Either cardio or a rest day on schedule. Ma have to work until quite late in which case it will be rest day this week.

Still waiting for my Power 90x workouts to come in. It has been almost a month since I ordered them.

Have a good day!

Good morning Cathy and Jane!!

Cathy great workout last night. Hope you don't have to work too late!:-(
I can relate to needing a stretch too Jane.

I am doing C&W's today with my Freestyle work between the step combos. I'll do Cathe's sets and incorporate my sets in with it. Should be fun.

Have a wondeful day everyone to follow! :)

Just got vacation pics added!

Good morning Cathy and all that follow...

Sandra - A Cathe addiction is definitely more healthy than a caffeine one!!

Yesterday was MIS. I haven't done that one in a while so decided to change my planned w/o with PLB/PUB bonus combo to this. I skipped biceps since I had worked then thoroughly the day before.

Today is steady state cardio and I desperately need to do a StretchMax segment. Will decide later what my SSC will be. The temperatures have dropped here so may go for a run this evening.

Have a great day!!

Good Morning Fit Ladies!

I'll be doing LowMax and some ab work this morning.

Kali: Enjoy your workout...sounds fun. Somehow I never think to put workouts together like that.

Jane: Although I enjoy weight work, I find cardio is what helps with my stress relief. Enjoy your cardio day, whatever it ends up being!

Carole: Sorry to hear about your foot woes - egads! Be careful of those wasps too. I hope you find some foot relief soon.

Hello to all that follow....have a great day!

Tammy

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday I ran for 3 miles straight! YAHOO! Took Speck with me and she laid on the couch for the rest of the day. Think it might be too much for her. LOL! Did 36 squats off smith machine using 115 pounds this time! Good gosh, I met my goal weight..my own weight! I am one happy mama! Upper back is sore though. Still did not get in chest and back as I became too much of a clean freak and then ran out of gas.

Today I WILL DO THE Chest and Back..in 30 mins here as I got a busy morning coming right up. Then I want to run again (6 miles) this time. I will do that in the evening as I am sure it will be too hot in the day still.

Have a great workout everyone

Charlotte~~

Hello, Everyone!

Today CTX Step & Interval, PLB floor, & GS Floor. Today is also clean day.

That sounds good. I may try to get a run in. I haven't been in a while. It is so hot here. I think I want to just go anyway. It will do me some good. It always frees my mind.

Have a great day!

good morning ladies!

Today I think I'm going to tackle IM2 & IM3 blasts only. Then probably PH.

Happy hump day everyone :)

Hello Fitness Friends

I've lost time catching up on 65 e-mails and now I mucst hurry to get in my WO.

Carole- Yesterday on the bike I was maintaining a heart rate of 170-184 during my spinning blasts. I sweat like nobody's business on that bike. I play around with the tension to keep my HR up and to adjust to the tempo of the Cathe WO that is playing. In yesterdays case CM.

Carole- How is your sting and bunion today?

Debbie- You have a big WO planned!!!

Today, Bike again & chest and back since I didn't get to it yesterday w/ CM (no time) and abs! & some freestyle legs.

Good morning...

Sandra...yes it was a bit painful! Now of course it itches and is a bit swollen, but DH did kill the remaining wasps!!! You and Wendy made me think about StepWorks...I haven't done that one in ages! You did great with HSC!

Good job on BC Jes!!

Cathy...P90X is a great series, although a bit lacking on legwork for me. The upper body and core work is awesome!!

Kali...sounds like a fun workout.

Jane...MIS is a tough workout. I like the shoulders in it. I can remember when I first started lifting upright rows were a favorite exercise! I am glad the temps are dropping for you.

Tammy...thanks. I did run yesterday and the pain was gone. My nephew (my chiro) actually adjusted my big toe on Monday as it was jammed. I have been doing some stretching and icing in the area and so far so good...Have fun with Lowmax..

Charlotte...congrats on the run! You are getting your legs quite strong...

Carla...wow both PLB and GS floor!...that would be a great thigh burner...:)

Debbie....wow...that is a tough high intensity interval workout!!!

Judy...65 emails!!!...That is great you keep your HR up there for spinning. Running still gets my HR up the highest. Intervals on my Nordic come close and so do some of the blasts in the Imaxes. Tanks for asking my bite just itches and my arm looks like Popeye! The bunion is ALOT better.

I am doing HSTA for the first time. I'll add a few Imax intervals to the cardio though. I sure won't have to add leg presses...}( I will add on some abs, maybe from ME.

Have a great day ladies!....:)...Carole

Hi good morning Cathy,Kali, Jane, Tammy,Kim, Charlotte, Carla,Debbie, Judy and everyone who post later. Cathy P90X deserves the wait.I think almost one month is to much time.I hope BB will improve the consumer service. Ordering BB products is a nightmare.I still waiting BB send the email saying they have placed my order. I know I need to be patient but when I am seeing people getting theirs (I sent the mail saying I wanted to order on 14 August, the day before the TJ release) that ordered after me it is a bit disturbing. I hope you will receive P90X soon.Yesterday I skip the Cardio P90X and I only did Yoga P90X. Today I will do Cardio P90X, legs and back P90X and ab ripperP90X. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning.

Today is a full body weight work out (probably pp or ss), 20-30 mins cardio and some abs.

TTYL!:)

Hi all,

Yesterday evening the painter called that he was coming today to paint the outside of my house. It's one of those things I'd prefer a professional to do even if it costs me like 10 times what it would be if I did it myself. And it only takes him two days and me at least two weeks!

Anyways he totally messed up my planning for today cause I had to prune all the plants near the house, take it all to the dump etc.

Then when I wanted to log on, something was wrong with mozilla and I had to uninstall and install again...

And these friends of my kids (boy and girl) suddenly want to workout with me. I hate that!! But they usually give up after two or three times working out with me}( I think I'm worse than Cathe if that is even possible :D :D

Have a great day,

Dutchie :)

I did PS shoulders, then various leg exercises off of Legs and Glutes and abs from MIS. Nice workout, no cardio. I go back for my sonogram that was rescheduled from when I had my mammogram today.

Hope you all have a great day!!:7

Last night was the step premix of C&W and this morning was the up only premix of PUB.

Kim, I hope you are feeling better.

Angie

Morning Everyone,

Today is Cardio Kicks and intervals 6-10 of Imax1. Cathe is really working the legs in the Aug05 Rotation. I am seeing nice definition in the legs with this rotation.

Have a great day!

Laurie Mac

Hi all -
Lots of good workouts going on here!

Today I will do Low Max, and hopefully find time for at least a half hour of lower body weights, too. I don't know if I can fit that in, though.

I'm trying to play catch-up. Yesterday was supposed to be Low Max, but when I got home in the middle of a thunderstorm, the power was out and didn't come back on until about 6:30, which destroyed my workout time. The good thing is, we got about three hours of rain - a total of 2.25 inches! - out of it. So missing a workout is okay with me!

Hi everyone,

This morning I did my homemade premix of SJP/SB: SJP w/u, step, SB challenge, c/d, stretch. A fun, fun 40 minute workout. Oh, my lovely Step Blast Challenge, how I love thee.

Annette - are you part of a homeschooling community? I mean, do you coordinate your schooling with other families of homeschoolers? Do you all plan social outings or field trips together? Good luck on the sonogram today. Let us know how it goes.

Logos - Gauntlet (70mins); Viper (80mins); IMAX Extreme (75mins). I think the Gauntlet seems the longest because it's the hardest (IMO). Circuits 4 & 5 back to back generally require an ambulance to be standing by.

Jes - Awesome job on BootCamp!!!!!! Was that your first time through it?

Jane - do you like MIS? It's not a favourite of mine, and hardly gets used, but many people just love it.

Charlotte - excellent job on the run!

Debbie - your workout today sounds positively horrendous }( If we don't hear from you for a few days, we'll know you're still in the ER.

Carole - can you run on your sore foot? Thanks re: HSCircuit. This is the intermediate workout that she put out with the BS/BF dvd (not the uber-hard High Step Challenge!). It's a fun little workout, and just flies by. You're doing HSTA today for the first time? Enjoy! I really like that workout. I like all the high step workouts, actually. They have a very low boredom factor.

Dutchie - what kind of a workout do the kids want to do? Weights? Running?

Laurie Mac - I've noticed that in all of Cathe's rotations that are designed to really improve stamina and blast the extra pounds off, she goes intense with the lower body. I suppose it's because using those large muscles burns more calories than any other muscle? At any rate, I'm glad to hear you're seeing results!

Katie - no check in today? How is the Jan '04 rotation going?

I saw my midwife yesterday, and it appears that all systems are starting to get ready to go for baby. Of course, this doesn't mean that I'll have her early, but there's no doubt that I'm in the homestretch. :)

Have a great day everyone,
Sandra

I'm back...half of my work out is done. I have to break for baby so I'll finish a little later. Joey needs to eat. :+

So far I've done Leaner Legs..haven't done that in a long time! OUCH! }(

Then I dusted off my Power Half Hour Ab tape by Beach Body and did 22 minutes of that. That was pretty much a cardio work out for me but it was broken up by the floor work-which was too quick for me to really feel it. :-(

I have to do upper body and more abs later. Might even throw in some more STEADY cardio if I have time and I'm up to it.

I nixxed pp/ss because I thought of Leaner Legs and figured it's a great one for someone who's trying to decrease the bulk in her legs. Question now is...which upper body should I do? Things that make ya go HMMMM! LOL

Bye!:)

okay, as some of you have read already, workout done! I feel very accomplished today. I think I needed a little change and to rev up the endurance/intensity today. IM2 & IM3 blasts only was a killer indeed. IM2 wasn't too bad w/ the rests but IM3 I had to take an extra minute or 2 here and there ;) My goal is to work up to no breaks! PH is soooo awesome. I forgot how much I enjoy that workout. I have quite a burn going. CM2 - done as well. I love stability ball ab work. I did all the pikes today except for 1. Yay me!
