What a day! Strained necks from pickle jars, I've heard some strange injuries in clinic but that's a new one. I can totally see how it could happen...those lids are a test of anyone's upperbody strength.
Foodie Sue, how's your wrist, I've actually worried about slipping off of the bench before, I was thinking this morning maybe I should get some of that chalk they use in gymnastics gyms but it would just make a mess.
Getting a crown is such a long process, I've only got one and I hope that's all I every get. I broke the tooth eating icecream with carmel candy in it (a treat I made the kids at Christmas), it cost me over $1 000.00!!!
Nice job with BC Wendy it's such a kickbutt workout and so versatile with all of the premixes.
I tested my ankle today and did LowMax on 1 riser and modified (no torque at all) I worked up a sweat and was glad to get this cardio junkies heart rate up.
It's a sad day for my family today, we got called to the hospital last night and my MIL died this morning at 11:00. She was 79 and ate life up for as long as she could. She scared the sh#t out of me doing a headstand in my living room when she was 74! Her and my FIL have been married almost 58 years and had more romantic love between them as I have seen in many newlyweds. She still sat on his lap after supper until about 2 months ago. I loved her like a mother/friends/confidant....my hubby died 7 years ago and for the first few years after his death the relationship with my in-laws was touchy because of the grief and shifting nature of our bond. After the emotional dust settled our bond strengthened and has become very unique, I only know a few people with a similar situation but none of them stayed close to the in-laws. I love that I still get to hear stories about John that I didn't know and that through their grandparents my kids get to know their Daddy still. I am so grateful that I got the Mother-in-law that I did and I know that my husband's spirit was joyous as he greeted his beloved Mother into Eternity.......Goodnight Irene.....
Take Care
Laurie
