Last evening: LowMax, Gym Style Biceps (still using progressive overload method) and abs.

Tonight: Gym Style Chest and PowerMax on schedule.

Last evening - PLB - loved that workout

Tonight - something cardio I think... how about some guidance...

The Terminator was Sunday, pushmowed for two hours on Monday (Cardio), nothing Tuesday, and PLB on Wednesday...

do I need strength and cardio today?

MuscleMax is on the rotation for today. I really like this one. Then, it is on to SweatMax in my office. The buildings air conditioner blew out Monday afternoon, and we will be without airconditioning until next week. Yesterday when I Ieft work, the office was 95 degrees. YUCK!

Your workouts look great.
Jane- the question about do you need strength and cardio today depends on your goals. You haven't listed any upper body work so you could do UB to round out your week. How about some abs? If you want to, add in a short intense cardio.

Cathy- You may have explained this earlier, but how do you like your progressive overload plan?

Tammy- I hope you can find a cool space today. 95 Degrees indoors is nasty! drink extra water :)

Today on my list is PLB and stretching. I will also golf and walk the course.

My DS graduates from high school on Sunday so I may not check in for a few days.

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was running for 30 mins. Turbo Clean Max and then PLB.

I will either be doing Boot Camp cardio this morning or running and then Core Max 2. If I do Boot Camp, I will be working out to the sounds of Gwen Stefani's- "What are you waiting for". I will have it on repeat.

Hey ladies!!

I hope all of you are doing well today..looks like another hot day is ahead of us..I am loving the heat...however my skin is not..I got sunburned yesterday..I was only out for a few hours...unreal!! My skin feels like toast...yuck!!!!!!

I was wondering how many of you have done the Hardcore Extreme workouts..I never hear anyone talk about them????? I was wondering if people just don't like the Extreme workouts, what is the deal??

30 minutes of HIIT on the Elliptical
and P90X: Yoga X later this evening.

Thanks Judy... my goal is overall fitness. I do want to build up some strength in my upper body to get those pushup numbers up, so I will be doing PUB today. I did CoreMax #2 this week also which I forgot to mention and those knee rolls STILL have my abs sore... I will either do the MIC step segment or get in a run if the storms hold off.

I just did HC-X #3 last week. I enjoyed the change up between IMAX3 intervals and blasts of KM. It starts w/ a wu of course and then IMAX3 intervals 5,6,7 then blasts of KM 1-5, then IMAX3 intervals 8,9,10 and them KM blasts 6-10. I omitted the leg conditioning drills at the end, because my schedule was pure cardio that day. I recommend it for an interval day. It was definitely "HIIT!"

Have fun with your DS graduation!

Progressive overload is working great for me. It's a method in which you increase the workload everytime you do stength training. For example, for barbell bicep curls...if I can complete the first set with a 40 lb barbell, I have to do as many reps as possible in the next sets with a higher barbell weight. Once I can complete all reps in all sets with the higher weight I start the next workout with an even higher weight and do as many reps in each set with that weight (and in the next workout you must increase the reps even if it is only by 1 or 2 reps). Once all reps in the first set are completed at that weight, the seond set starts with a higher weight. I am incorporating this method for all body parts and the only modification I make to Cathe's workouts when I am using them..is that I put a full minute ot two between sets.

I hope everyone is doing well today. Lots of great workouts going, as always :) I'm just resting today. I have major DOMS from yesterday - gauntlet cardio, IM3 blasts, PP, and my own abs. Yowsers! I need to go out today and buy heavier dumbells & possibly a stability ball. Does everyone enjoy using the stability ball?

All you people who were actually able to work out this morning are so lucky! Our power was out for 3 hours this morning, so no workout for me. :( The power came back on right about the time I needed to get in the shower. Better luck tomorrow....

Good Morning Fit Females!

Will probably be too hot again today for a walk :-( Have to go out this afternoon to take Joey to a dr. appointment. I'm not sure what I am doing the rest of the day.

Cathy-Isn't lowmax a fun work out? I really like it...although I have only done the step only premix. I have not had the pleasure of the blasts YET...soon though...I'm scared! lol

Jane-Have fun working out today no matter what you choose!

Tammy-My office will tend to be on the warm side for part of the year. I hate being hot. All I want to do is fall asleep at my desk. Not a good way to keep productivity up, huh?

Judy-You golf, huh? I can hardly play miniature golf! lol My DH is going to be trying his hand at golf over this summer. My mom and her S/O golf a lot so DH is going to join them and see how he fairs. I won't even attempt it! lol

Charlotte-I can't wait to try BootCamp...that's one that I couldn't ever do because it's just not made for a prego! lol

Denise-Great w/o as always! You are in the ranks with Mariangeles as a bionic woman!

Conni-Lots of people like Christi Taylor. Never tried her. I am thinking about picking up one of her work outs though. Any suggestions for me?

Good Morning Everyone!!

This morning I did PLB for the first time and LOVED IT !!! I predict major DOMS for me!! Also did the first 5 intervals of IMAX. I forgot about all the plyo jacks!!!!!!! OMGGGG

Tonight Bootcamp is on the schedule. Do y'all think it's okay for me to do Bootcamp tonight and then ME tomorrow night, even though BC is a circuit workout and includes weights?

Cathy - Gym Styles are ALSO on my list of Cathe must-haves. I hear such great things about them.

Jane - I'm excited because I'm ordering Terminator today!! YAY!

Tammy - I love MM too. I can't believe you can even work in 95 degrees. I'd be melted into a puddle on my office floor:p

Judy - Are you an avid golfer?

Charlotte - Do you always turn the sound off and use different music than Cathe's?

Denise - Ouchie! Sunburns can be so painful. Sunburns and paper cuts;)

Debbie - Your workouts have been killer lately! Definitely invest in a stability ball. I need to get some heavier dumbells as well. My heaviest are 15's. I need some 20's.

Evily.. er, I mean Emily - When we had the huge blackout in 2003, I did Tae Bo from memory:)

Wendy - Don't worry! You'll be back to working out real soon! Enjoy every minute with Joey.

Becky - Plyo jacks are right up there with plie jacks on the evil scale.

Tammy...I did the shoulders, bi's and tri's from MM yesterday. I really like this workout...

Wow...PLB seems popular today, I did it yesterday. Those stability ball exercises really get you..

Denise I have done the 1st and 2nd Hardcore Extreme workouts. I liked them alot. It seems funny as these and the ones from the terminator don't get mentioned alot. Not even sure if any are ever in a Cathe rotation..

Emily...hate those power outages! I have used a battery operated radio and done my own lifting when we loose power...

Wedny...just a little more time and you can be sweating along with us...:)

Shelley...I think ME is fine the next day after BC, just don't use real heavy weights in BC.

I am doing my freestyle legwork, some abs and a 5 or 6 mile run depending on time...

should be nice and sunny today after the rain yesterday...:)...Carole
 
I dunno, Evily, oops, I mean Emily.}( I can think of many things that lend themselves to being done in the dark. You know, like stargazing, glow in the dark bowling - what were YOU thinking?
