Morning Everyone,

Tonight will be CTX Upper Body and cardio. Cathe had the Body Fusion w/o on the schedule, but I don't have that one so will have to sub.

Last night we lost our game. Really bad game 11-2. For myself I didn't do to badly. I went 2 for 3 with one of them a tripple. But I was left stranded on third.

Denise, I have done the Extreme #2 & 3 and I really like them both, but I think #3 is the toughest.

Hi good morning. Yesterday I did SJP and 1 TAEBo basic live workout. Today I do the second workout of the January rotation: KPC.I will add a TAEBO basic live workout. Have a great day everybody.

Oh my gosh - I totally forgot about glow-in-the-dark bowling! I could have gotten out my monogrammed 14-pound ball and done a little bowling in my private bowling alley in the basement. Except my pinsetter and ball return don't work without power. Drat! I HATE having to set the pins by hand. :p

No stargazing though - it's hard to see stars through the rain clouds. :) (Maybe that's good exercise for your eyes!)

Now... why do you keep mis-typing my name all the time, Shelley? I just don't understand why can't seem to hit that "m" key... ;)
 
Instead of doing the PUB today which is an hour and I need some cardio (time constraints), I believe I will try out my TimeSaver and do some upper body off it with some of the step aerobics and a stretch. By golly, I think I am getting the hang of this mixing and matching.
 
Morning all! This morning was IMAX 2 intervals 1-5. I only had time to do half of it since the painters are still showing up at 6:15. They should be done painting the inside of the house tomorrow! Yea!! Then hopefully life can go back to somewhat normal.

Today I did High Step Circuit.

Becky - congrats on doing the ME biceps! Regarding the push-ups, I was going to suggest that you just hit "pause" for a few seconds and take a rest between the tricep work and the push ups. Cathe encourages longer rest breaks in many of her workouts. PLB and the first half of IMAX in one workout?? That's tough stuff!!!

Terri - my favourite section of Power Hour is the shoulder routine. She even says that once you get it down, you'll really like it, and I do!

Connie - have you ordered High Step Circuit yet? Do you have a high step?

Wendy - how was your night out?

Carole - would you say that Legs & Glutes was inspired by the freestyle training approach? It sounds like the kind of workout you're describing.

Jane - I love the pyramids; PUB more than PLB I have to admit. PUB was very effective for creating muscle definition in my upper body.

Laurie - I was surprised to read that you didn't work out during your pregnancies. You're such a machine! :) Obviously it didn't hurt you! I'm envious of your skylights! That sounds really nice! Yes, I got my napmax in yesterday - twice! And then, of course, I had a hard time falling asleep last night.

Katie - I hope you got to do IMAX2 today! Pregnant women aren't encouraged to do interval workouts, but I just had to do IMAX2 last week because it's too much fun to keep on the shelf for a year. I modified many of the blasts to stay aerobic, and had a great time.

Jane - Cardio & Weights gets my vote for your workout today. It's got cardio and an upper body workout, all in one.

Denise - I have the HC Extreme workouts, but due to gestational issues I won't be trying them for a few more months, at least. I'm really wanting to give them a whirl, though. I've read a few posts about them, and people seem to like them.

Debbie - That was quite a workout you did yesterday! I use my stability ball all the time - love it.

Emily - you need to hook yourself up to your tv and start doing a Cathe workout. I'll bet that would generate enough energy to keep it running!

Shelley - Yay! You're ordering Terminator! You're going to love it! Yes, you can do ME the day after BC because the reps in BC are pretty short, compared to ME. I find it doesn't totally exhaust the muscle, and I'm good to go the next day.

Laurie Mac - you're subbed a hard workout for Body Fusion LOL! Something more comparable would be Cardio & Weights, if you have that. Too bad about your game last night :(

My night out was fun! Thanks! We went to dinner. I had 2 beers and it felt like I drank a 6 pack for a little while there! lol It was a nice break. I got to put on cute clothes and do my hair and put on make up! I felt like a woman again. :)

Hello Ladies,

Sandra-yeah power hour shoulders are good! They really work! I also love PUB. That workout just flies by for me. The bicep part is SOOO effective! it's one of the few that really makes me feel the bi's while I am doing it. That and ME bi's :)

Today cardio will be a run on the treadmill. I almost dread the treadmill now that I have so many cathe cardio's but it's what I have down to do. I alternate one day cathe cardio one day treadmill cardio. Then later will be gym style legs or plb. I love them both! Oh and of course I will do a mixture of abs.

Hi all, it is hot again today though it is not supposed to be as hot as yesterday.

I did an advance taebo tape from the Live Series. I sweated buckets, due to the heat and my space limitations at the moment (thus the reason for doing taebo,he doesn't use alot of space)even though I didn't feel I put as much into it as I have in the past. :+ It was a good workout!!:D

You would really like Christi. Great choreography, but just a notch below Cathe intensity-wise. I would get her Fantastic Four DVD, there are 2 hi/lo and 2 step workouts on it which I think is her best material. If you like those, then we can go from there!
If you are looking for a "fun" factor, then Christi is your pick!

Well after 2 days of no working out i am ready to ROCK! i am doing a total body workout, probably ME and Imax3 i think. i need an interval workout and i already did imax2 on monday! I think i am going to do it blasts only and then the step portion or vice versa. i still have never done that one all the way through:+

Hello everyone,

Am a little late checking in today.

Worked all morning on my cupboard. It's almost finished. Even the kids think it's a beautiful piece of work, so it must look good :)

And because the weather is so nice today, I worked all afternoon in the garden, front and back, but mostly back, it's been neglected all year this year. So it really needed a lot of work done. I have blisters from all the cutting and pruning and sorting the plant containers out, moving them to their summer spots, removing dead plants, fertilising, etc. I have two blisters that were cut open and they really hurt. You should see me type this with all the band aides :) :)

Have a great day, mine is nearly over (6:45PM here). Time for a long hot shower.....

How did the HSC workout go this morning? I can't wait to get mine!! It should be here today or tomorrow...along with Classics Volume 1. I can't wait!! :p

I'm actually trying to put off my w/o today until the UPS man comes...not sure if that will work or not though. Sometimes he doesn't come until 5pm. Yikes! Too late for me to w/o, and I've got to work tonight. I'm giving him until 2pm and then I'll decide on some kind of steady state cardio.....tic toc tic toc.

I still struggle a bit mentally with the mixing and matching, but I'm getting used to it, too. It really is fun, just requires a bit of extra thought. ;)

Wow this thread gets long, fab workouts for fab women! It seems to me that a lot of us are painting and refinishing furniture. Once my garage gets cleared out a bit I want to strip and re-do some furniture that I love but is getting kind of tired looking.

Today was teaching 2 classes at the gym, BodyPump and BodyFlow. My arms have been getting worked extra hard lately and I really see a difference in my forearms. I was tempted to do a little cardio after but didn't get to it. I'm on my way to turn some garden beds over and put in some summer bulbs.

Sandra, I didn't start with fitness until about a year before my 3rd pregnancy and didn't know much about it then, just what I had learned from Charlene Prickett. As soon as I got a bit tired I stopped and didn't get going again until Faith was about 4 months old. Thanks for the machine comment, I do love to work hard}( Hope you get feeling more rested really soon. (p.s. I wonder what Ralph Klein will have to say about today's Supreme Court ruling in favour of 2 tiered health care in Quebec?! It makes me feel a bit worried).

This morning I did Timesaver #4 w/KPC. I wish I could have done more but I had to get to work for an early conference call. I'm climbing a lot of stairs today to make up for it!

I just love kickboxing.
