Good morning!
Kate slept from 10:30 until 5am! I got 6 uninterrupted hours of sleep!! Well not fully uninterrupted because I kept waking up to make sure she was okay. What a treat! And, the young one still had her very solid early morning nap, which means that I got my workout done uninterruped. I did LowMax this morning, on the 8" step. I started on the 6", as I used to use during pregnancy, but wasn't feeling it well enough. Fun workout, especially without the big belly!!!
Tammy - I'm looking forward to dusting off IM2 in another week and a half. I'm trying to wait until 6 weeks post-partum before doing the really intense workouts, but I'm not sure I'll make it. IM2 might sneak into my rotation next week...If you do that one today, enjoy it!
Carla - great workout combo today! I like that idea. A nice step workout followed by some intense kickboxing. Cool. Kate's not consistently sleeping through the night, but she does go 4-5 hour stretches. I can't say that sleep deprivation is a huge problem for me, thank heavens, although some days are better than others. Thanks for asking!
Kristine - are you sure you're seeing fat, and not just water retention due to the heavy weight training? Cathe's mentioned a few times that the body will retain water to help muscles repair after heavy weight work. I hope that's all it is; it's very discouraging to be exercising hard and still seeing fat gain!!! I would like to share pictures of Kate, but I'm leary of posting pics on the internet. Maybe I should get over that, and just make a picture trail. I don't know. I'll think about it. Thanks for your interest
