Daily Check-In: Friday, July 22, 2005

Hey ladies,

I am going to do one of the workouts off hardcore extreme. I am thinking high/low intervals. Then I will go late gym style chect and tris and bis. I am so looking forward to this cardio workout as I have never done any of the workouts off it! Any tips for me? I didn't do abs yesterday so I have to get those in today as well.

Oh MY MY MY. BodyMax is a toughie! Especially after BC yesterday!
I did have to do it in chunks Laurie.
I did the Step segment, 2 drills, then upper body and abs. I wasn't in any mood for drills today. It is an awesome w/o. though.

I was flying high all day yesterday from BC and think I just crashed and burned today. Tomorrow will be PowerHour.

Sandra (AKA Grumpy:)) I hope the rest of the day is better for you, too bad the workout was frustrating for you. I've found the same thing with Seasun Zeiger's step workouts, they make me kinda grumpy too. Try to do something that makes you very happy today or pull out a good funny movie and chill out with Paris, kay???:)

Afternoon everyone,
This morning was upper body from SS and floorwork from GS Legs, and S&H abs. I was going to swim some laps, but I'm pooped. Think it will be a good afternoon for a nap.

Hi all, I did PUB Triceps and Biceps and the did abs off of PSSL&A and for a short cardio I did the 8 min. taebo workout. No legs today.

Well I am prednisone-loaded for my RA and back in the saddle again..... I stepped, stumbled, stopped and stared my way through Christi Taylor Step Heaven this afternoon. :)

I was afraid I wasn't getting a good w/o but my HRM wasn't beeping at me very much tell me I was out of my training zone.... so here's the numbers.... not bad.


80 minute w/o according to HRM - AHR 126 MHR 155 calories 514

I may get in something else. I am feeling lots better and more than a little behind!!
 
I attempted supersets and had to stop before she does lunges with back foot on step. My legs are so weak. I told my dh that my legs have only done a steady walk for the past three months. I was still sore from ph on tuesday. But I listened to my body. I was a good girl!! Well later on in the day I wanted to do that naughty cardio, so I pulled out Imax2. And no I wasn't going to do all the jumps, just some of the step only. I did okay with my foot, but it was my legs felt so week and I had to stop at the third interval. I tried doing the flying angels, but I felt like my leg was 200#. I can say I did something today.


Jane I really hope your hand gets to feeling better soon!

Thanks Kim... my wrists are feeling much better after my prednisone load this morning. I will probably stay on prednisone for a week taper to get the worst of this inflammation out.

I wanted to do something else after Step Heaven so I pulled out KickMax. There is a premix on there call low impact kickbox timesaver. It is pretty much KickMax without the blasts. It was a really good w/o. I need to start looking at the premixes on my w/o's. The variety is endless isn't it?

Kim - do you have KickMax? This low impact timesaver premix is a w/o that I think you could do without all that rotating of course on the jabs. Don't want to stress your foot.

Hi -- I don't normally check in, but wanted to start. :)

Today I did PS Legs/Abs. I just bought this DVD while at Cathe's last weekend. WOW! It was really fun!

I think I did kickmax monday or one day last week. I did the low impact kickbox. It did everything but blast. But not used to moving around like that I had to quit early on that too. It's almost like my endurance sucks! I feel like I have been asleep for 6 mths. and my body is not the same. Oh well! it'll come. But yes girl, those premixes are great!


Oh! I had no idea it was in both hands. You poor thing!Get better!!

HSC with IM2...oooh..Carole that sounds FUN! Two of my favorite workouts combined. Thanks for the idea!
