CRAZY, STRONG & LOVING IT FOR March 2015

Good Evening,

Just planks for me today woke up to snow and its so depressing then I had to go to work even more depressing.

Nora-it's a little different then Cathe and KCM in the fact that she does 5 exercises two rounds and each exercise is done for a minute then a 15 second rest before you go to the next one. I don't want the extreme this one is fine just something to do before KCM releases her workouts.

Debbie-good job with your cardio workouts.

Belinda-how was the lower body workout?
 
Today I did 3 miles on the treadmill again. Just an brisk walk. I made over 7000 steps again. Took an hour and I burned about 389 calories.

Hope you all have great workouts. Don't have Body Beast yet. Can't wait to get it!!

I just did a brisk walk on my treadmill again. I only went 2.25 miles though. Wasn't in the mood to do 3. Was on the treadmill for 45 minutes and went 5400 steps.

Belinda - You have an amazing step count average. What do you do all day? Do you walk everywhere?? Just curious. You are amazing!!!

Nora - Great workout yesterday, girl!!! I see you are liking the Ripped series.

Roxie - This winter is making us all depressed. I'm sick of it. It looks like it will be getting warmer next week. It's about time!!!
 
Debbie - thank you:D LOL, I guess you can say that:p I don't have a treadmill, I do a lot of indoor walks with Jessica's Smith walking dvd's (or youtube) or Leslie Swanson (on youtube). I don't sit down unless I have 10K:D The 21 Day Fix workouts don't give my a high step count, except 21 Day Fix Cardio. Right now, we are covered in snow, so no dog walks. Once the weather clears up, DH and I will walk the dogs anywhere from 45 min - 60 min. Which gives me a very good step count every time, we walk kinda fast. My house is over 4000 sqft, so cleaning it from one end to gives me a good step count :D Your step count is pretty impressive too :D 7000 steps in an hour. That's impressed! :D Every time I see your step count, you encourage me to do more :D I rather walk than do high impact. I am also losing weight since I am not doing a lot of high impact anymore. Somehow it backfired on me doing so much cardio, walking is fine.

Hi ladies,

Workouts are done :) I did 21 Day Fix cardio fix and Jessica Smith Belly Blaster = 15 min + Power Pick Up = 15 min. I have to shower than get ready for my doc appointment.

Sara - you always can do a shorter Cathe premix :) Or go for a walk (indoors or outdoors). I just ordered 21 Day Fix, all workouts are 30 min.

I had to workout this morning so I just now got my workout in and it was a good one using a StudioSweat Spin class I downloaded and that instructor is tough.

Sorry for not checkin in yesterday. My kids are here for the weekend. Alesia left yesterday with her boyfriend, my son and his fiancé are still here. I did do 21 DF Dirty 30 and lots of walking.
Last night we went to the Casino in town. I won a $150 on the 1 cent slot machine :p

Today I will do 21 Day Fix Yoga and a walk.

Nora - my doc appointment went well. Thanks for asking. My doc put my on thyroid meds, I just started taking it. Nice job with your workouts.

Roxie - good job on your spin workout.

Debbie - hope you got your Body Beast.

I did finally get my Body Beast. However, I didn't get the Tempo workouts or the Lucky 7's. What is up with that? I knew the price of $40 was too good to be true. Now I'm wondering if I should buy the other ones separately if you can? Do you all have these workouts?

I definitely will start using them, but I can't follow the rotation due to not having all the workouts. This sort of makes me mad. :(

What type of workouts is Tempo and Lucky 7 anyways???

Yay your copy of Body Beast has arrived!!! I really loved Body Beast and did 1 round of it and plan to do another soon. Here's the link for a review and it describes each video workout, here's the link http://2lazy4gym.com/2014/11/29/body-beast/

My experience with Body Beast is that the only extra separate purchase is "Tempo" and many that have that one say they are glad they got it. If you, personally I didn't get it but it is on my wish list. It has been suggested that if you want to do a substitute for it Cathe's Slow and Heavy was mentioned. So if you have that one you could try that.

Here's the Body Beast workouts that I got with no additional purchase as follows:

Beast Basics
Build- Chest & Tri's, Build Shoulders, Beast Abs (All on same Disc)
Build- Legs (OMG, this is no joke plan for major DOMS), Build Back & Bi's (All on same Disc)
Beast Cardio, Beast Abs
Bulk- Chest, Back, Legs- (Each separate workout is all on the same Disc)
Bulk- Shoulders, Arms, Beast ABs (Each separate workout is all on the same Disc
Beast Total Body, Abs
Beast Lucky 7 (Included in purchase) and Abs

That is what is on each Body Beast Dvd that come with the Basic Body Beast purchase. The only extra offering is a separate workout dvd called "Tempo" this is supposed to be somewhat like Cathe's Slow and Heavy I've been told. I do not have "Tempo" but have heard lots of positives about it and do have it on my wish list and I still want it. I did my rotation without Tempo but would still like to get it. I hope this info and the link for the review I posted is helpful info for you. If you did not get Lucky 7 and Beast Total Body included it should have been. If not I'd contact the place you purchased it from and I'm sure they will help you out.

ps. Lucky 7 is not really used until you get it to the last weeks of the Bulk phase. Check the rotation in your book. I know I didn't use it until then and I followed the Lean Beast Rotation.

Sorry I didn't log my workout this morning, I did start Body Beast. I did Build: Chest & Tri's this morning and really liked the workout but could have done without all the testosterone comments. I realize this is a "mans" workout series, but really? The guy sounds like Arnold and I just had to roll my eyes the entire time. But I really did like the workout. I'm looking forward to the next one.

One thing, though, I won't workout 6 days in a row. I always take Saturday and Sunday off. Plus I really don't want to give up my cardio. This morning I did chest & tris and then got on my treadmill and walked a mile. I have to see how long the workouts are and then I can hopefully add some cardio in after I do them. Maybe. I really haven't decided yet. LOL!!

Back in the day all I did was lift and did well with it. Low body fat, high metabolism. But now I love doing cardio and I miss it when I can't do it. So I need to find a happy medium. We shall see as I go about this series...

Nora - Yes, I seen your post, thank you so much for all the information. You are so awesome!!! I received all those DVD's you show except Lucky 7 and Tempo's. I may just order those in the next couple days because they look good. I think I can do without Lucky 7. I have the workout sheets for these workouts and circuit workouts just don't thrill me. So I'll see how much they are and go from there. Thank you again for that post, that was a lot of information!!!
