Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #1. Had an excellent workout. My low back was a little sore so I was worried about getting on the treadmill at all, but I feel great and did very well with this workout.

Today was MMA : Boxing. Fun! except I think I should have skipped the core work. My low back is not happy.

Hey great job on all your workouts today! Wow, did you see the clip of one of cathe's new dvd's soon to be in those pre-ordered hot little hands? That dvd looks awesome just from the clip, I can't wait and i pre-ordered.

I had my mamogram today, and won't know the results for about a week, which always makes me nervous. So, please think good thoughts and well wishes for me. I'm still resting or trying but haven't been sleeping well lately. I will try very hard to not workout at all this week and just allow my body to recover and repair via rest this week and likely next week too. I'm leaning toward starting another round of Insanity because I need a year worth of results in two months big time. I have to confess I've been eyeing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution too, I know Mary will have it in stock September 4th and we can use our 10off aka 10% off to use to bring the price down further and free shipping too! Love it, I'll be saving up for that one. Anyone else thinking about getting JMBR? Just curious, I know I'm a terrible enabler oh well I think we all are to some degree, LOL!!!

Chris- Nice workout yesterday with GS Chest & Triceps AND a bike ride AND a walk with Buddy. Today you did MMA Boxing that is a fun workout, oh sorry to hear the core work bugged your back. I feel your pain, I'm glad you are aware of it and being careful. If it hurts your back at all modify or skip it to be safe. I hope your back feels better ASAP, maybe ice it to see if that helps.;):)

Debbie- Great workout with Cardio Coach vol.1 today. I know what you mean about your back hurting, mine does too so I understand being reluctant to do anything that might irritate it. I'm happy that your back didn't bother you like you were thinking it would from TM workout, that's awesome! Great job today, WTG!!;)

Sorry for not checking in yesterday, had a very busy day cleaning the house and picking plums from garden:confused: now I have to figure out what to do w/all those plums:eek:

Yesterday I did Cardio Super Sets. Today I will do Pyramid lower body.

I am still unable to walk without my legs screaming and its my own fault I keep forgetting to stretch. Tonite I have another PT session to make up for the one I missed last week (maybe I should suggest foam rolling).

Today I worked Back, Biceps and Abs. Had a great workout.

BACK:
Underhand Barbell Row
40# - 2 sets/15 reps
55# - 1 set/10 reps
57# - 1 set/10 reps
60# - 1 set/10 reps

One Arm Row
35# - 1 set/10 reps
37# - 2 sets/9 reps

BICEPS:
Barbell Curl
30# - 2 sets/15 reps
45# - 3 sets/10 reps

Incline Hammer Curls w/Twist
15's - 3 sets/10 reps

ABS:
Crunches on Stability Ball
Woodchops w/8#
Reverse Cruch w/8#
I did 15 reps each exercise and then took a 1 minute break and repeated 2 more times.

Was kind of a wimpy workout. My left shoulder is acting up again, not sure why. It hurt when I was doing the back work. I feel ok now, I used my foam roller for a bit after my workout. I will ice it later and take some Aleve.

Nora - Good vibes coming your way. No worries, you'll be fine. :)

Roxie - STRETCH GIRL! You know what happens to me when I don't. You are doing some major muscle work right now so you have to keep them flexible.
 
Hi Girls!

Today I did a 20 minute bike ride (before it got too hot/humid) and then came home and did GS Legs standing and then floorwork from Legs & Glutes. Again, avoiding stability ball , because honestly, I just don't like it. But my legs got pretty trembly and worked doing L&G floorwork with 5 lb weights!

Nora: Glad you're making the most of your rest week! Have you done a rotation of Insanity yet? A friend of mine let me borrow month 1 of Jillian's Body Revolution. 2 of the workouts were pretty good. They are short (30 minutes). I like Jillian in the workouts, not as annoying as she is in some of her other ones. But one of the workous I did was VERY VERY easy. I felt like I didn't get a workout in! I still might end up buying the system if the price goes down enough. Or WHEN the price goes down enough.

Debbie: WTG on the weights today!! Sorry your shoulder is sore. Hope the roller and ice helps!

Roxie: Stretching and ice sound like a good idea for you too!

I just wanted to stop by and say hello! I'm not feeling at all well today, major fatigue has hit me and I feel like I'm walking around half asleep and not able to really walk well due to imbalance issues. I wanted to leave personals tonight but I'm not feeling well and really think I need to go lie down. Good night ladies and well done today on all your fitness workouts.;)
