Crazy, strong & loving it for August!

Good Morning,

It is a beautiful rainy day here hope it last all day. I had pretty much talked myself out of going to the gym tonite kind of a why bother attitude going on but as the day goes on I am starting to change my mind.

Debbie-so glad the yoga is working for you now if only you could make me stretch.

Belinda-you are just full of knowledge.

I walked 2 miles + did 30 min yoga (same as on Monday) + D15 and 10 min stretch w/Cathe.

Hi girls!;)

I know I said I wouldn't be working out, but I'm dealing with so much stress its eating me alive. My neck feels like an rock hard wall and is so tight its agony. All this stress is effecting my ability to function or keep food down, so I figured I'd better workout to help burn off some of this darned stress. I have found for me that nothing feels better when stressed out to the Max than to do either a Kickboxing workout or a boxing workout. So, that' what I did today and now I do feel much better.

Here's my stress relieving workout:

KCM 30 MTF-Circuit Burn Premix-Cardio, Boxing, & Sculpting= 44 Min
Met Value= 7.50
Calories burned= 451

KCM 30 MTF-Circuit Burn -Abs Only= 6 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 41

Total calories burned= 492

I know that's not a lot on the calories burn but I'll take it. It really helped to get rid of and burn off that stress. I see you guys did workout today, bravo girls WTG. You guys are such workout warriors and an inspiration, you go girls!:)

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #5. I've decided to do cardio three times this week because I really need to burn some calories. I'll do my yoga Tuesday and Thursday.

Tonite is my final session with PT and I am kind of excited about that I want to prove to her I can do this on my own. I didn't sleep well last night so I couldn't get up and do cardio so I might do that when I get home after session.

I just finished my late workout for today. I know I said I probably wouldn't be working out this week but I'm too stressed out and need to workout to get it out of my system. There's nothing like a good sweaty workout to make you feel refreshed and DE-stressed.

Here's today's workout:

Les Mills Pump & Burn= 35 Min
Met Value= 6.50
Calories burned= 311

Les Mills Sports Attack= 31 Min
Met Value= 9.50
Calories burned= 402

Total calories burned= 713

That's it for me today girls, I'd leave personals for you all but my hand is struggling with typing right now, I guess my MS fatigue has kicked in. Great job girls on all your fitness endeavors for today, WTG!!;):)

Today was yoga and I chose Power Yoga by Cathe. Had a fairly decent workout. She still holds some of those poses way too long for me. I had to come out of a few of them before she did.

I see Susan Chung has a new Rapid Fire workout out. I may have to get it even though I haven't even done Rapid Fire 2 yet. Oh well. Maybe someday....

My aunt passed away yesterday. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last summer plus it was in her lymphnodes and she had emphazema. I'm glad she's at peace now but I will surely miss her.

Roxie - How was your last PT session? Hope you had a great workout!

The PT session was tough last night she really worked me. She says I have one more session on the books so Thursday night will be it and we are going over everything that I learned and if there is another piece of equipment that I want to know about we will do that, and if I have any questions in the future I am just suppose to ask and she will help me.

Belinda-no more sessions can't afford it.

Debbie-so sorry to hear about your aunt. Good job with your workout.

Debbie- I'm so sorry for your loss. Just hold close to your heart all the good memories you have of your aunt in healthier and better times. I'm sure that's how she'd like to be remembered. Great job with doing Yoga with Cathe. I hope things are feeling better and that the yoga is of some relief to tight sore muscles. Hugs!!!:):cool:

Roxie- Kind of bittersweet your having the last session with your PT. It's good that she's willing to answer any questions after this and it seems its been a good workout time with her. I wish you well and I hope the PT gave you a good foundation to build on workout wise tailored for you. Now you've no doubt learned a lot during your time with your PT and can take that knowledge forward in your fitness journey. You go girlfriend and now you know you can do it! Bravo and onward!:):cool:

Belinda- Nicely done with Turbo Barre its deceptively tough and gets ya good. It looks simple but its no joke. I remember I had DOMS!! Great workout for today, WTG girlfriend!:cool:

Today was Cardio and I don't know what it is about death, but it always makes me workout hard. I chose Cardio Coach Press Play and did the entire workout. It was a killer, that's for sure. Haven't done this one in it's entirety in a long time.

Roxie - PT sessions are not cheap. I am pretty sure, you can do all the excersices at home.

I have had a busy morning. Tonite I will go to the gym and do the elliptical, last night was a walk/run on the TM.

Debbie-good job with your TM workout. A good workout is your way of coping with death just a guess on my part.

Tonite I went to the gym and did the elliptical. I have lost inches but I won't know about inches until tomarrow.
