Crazy, strong & loving it for August!

Hi Girls! :)

I'm on week #3 of the January 2012 Rotation (4 week one). Monday , yesterday, I did STS Total Body. Still challenging and still giving me DOMS. Today was Cardio Supersets.

Debbie: That's great to hear how good yoga is doign for you. I'm so happy you found something good for your shoulder!

Belinda: Awesome jobs on the workouts , I need to get back to running too.

Roxie:Good for you for challenging yourself with the PT.

Nora; Happy to hear your test results were ok! Though fibroids do hurt still. Nice wokrouts, as usual!!

I just finished working out a couple of hours ago and realized I forgot to check in so I will do so now.

Here's today's workout:

Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed & Shred = 42 Min
Met Value= 7.0
Calories burned= 401

Jillian Michaels 6 Week Six Pack Abs- Workout #1 = 35 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 287

Total calories burned= 688:cool:

Well, that's it for me today girls. I'm sure you all did awesome workouts for today and are feeling fabulous, so I'll just say well done keep up the fitness fight for optimal health and fitness. See ya at tomorrow's check in.

ps. Thanks Chris on your positive comments about my ultrasound results, I appreciate it. Nicely done BTW on today's workout, you go girlfriend!:)

I went to the gym tonite and did the ellipitcal for and hour and then I went grocery shopping still no stretching.

Today was yoga and I chose the 45 minute one from Karen Voight called Yoga Sculpt. Not a very hard workout but I like it. Gives me some good stretching and some of the poses make my legs burn. She does some good ab work in this one.

I will do STS Plyo legs and AC " No Equitment". I also need to get a short yoga workout in today.

Debbie - I have that yoga on VHS, lol. I remember that one being very hard, long time ago. Mmm...need to plug in my VHS recorder.

Hiya Girls!

Today was Yoga day! I did one that was still in shrink wrap: Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown. There are 2 , 30 minute workouts on this one. i did level 1. They weren't easy, it was more strengthening poses and exercises than static ones. I liked it alot. It was different than other yogas I've done. Debbie, you should check that one out. I know Jillian's workouts are usually cheaper too. I added on STS Extended Stretch for extra stretching. Felt good!

Nora: Nice job on Jillians yesterday!

Belinda: You're doing ALOT today!!

Roxie: Great consistancy on your gym trips!!

Hi girls;)

I decided to take the rest of this week off and probably the next week off too. I'm feeling so fatigued and tired I think I should just rest and try to relax. I did pre-order JM's Body Revolution and should be getting that the first week in September and that will be a 90 day rotation. I think I should just rest before I begin the 90 rotation I've been through a lot lately and been so stressed out and exhausted I need this recovery time from all of that.

So, no workout for me today or the rest of this week and likely the next as well. I hope all of you fabulous ladies are having wonderful workouts and enjoying life. I still plan to check in so take care and have fun!

Nora - glad you listen to your body, it will thank you for it. Enjoy your recovery week. We put a lot of stress on our bodies w/our workouts. I think I will take a recovery week before I start STS again in a few weeks;)

Today was cardio and I chose one of my Cardio Coach mixes. I was so close to just going back to bed, I have been so tired this week. I'm really not liking having to workout so early, but I know I won't do it when I get home so I don't have a choice. I sucked it up and got on my treadmill. Had a really good workout and now I'm glad I stayed up.

Anyone watch the show "Revenge"? I got the first season from Netflix and watched the first 5 episodes. I'm hooked. I can't wait to watch the rest of them. I know the new season begins Sept. 30th. I'm hoping to be able to watch them all by then.

Chris - I wrote down that DVD, I will get it. I need some different ones and that one sounds great. Thanks!

Debbie - I forgot to tell you, I found lots of full yoga classes on youtube.com. Theyare all FREE! Just type in yoga;) I made a playlist on youtube, so I don't have to look for the channels anymore. Also Yogatoday.com offers once a week a FREE yoga class. It's awesome. You also find them on youtube.com. I love youtube:D Why I buys so many workout dvds, beat's me:confused: If you want me too I can post a few yoga channels I like?

BTW, I love that show! I can't wait for the new season.

Tonite for me is another killer workout with PT and with the way my day has been going I am going to need some stress release and I don't see it getting any better. They finally posted a picture of my trainer on the wall at the gym and it says she specializes in crossfit and it makes sense because that is what my workouts feel like.

Debbie-good job with getting your workout done even though you didn't feel like it.
 
Hi Girls!

Today was another round of STS Total Body. Went up in weights and then subbed the abs for B&G Bonus Stability Ball Abs (my favorite ab work).

Lots of crap going on with my almost 17 yr old son here. I am so stressed out, seriously.

Debbie: Nice job on pushing it with CC today!. Jillian is pretty cheap, so it's not bad spending under $10 on a good yoga DVD. It is different and she also has modifications too. I think you'd like it.

Belinda: LOL @ drinking coffee before IM3!!! I would have to drink a whole pot! Hope it went well!

Roxie: That is very cool your PT is into Crossfit! That is the "rage" these days!

Nora: Good for you for taking a rest week if you're feeling like that. I'm so sorry you're going through alot lately. This week is killing me emotionally, I just feel like I don't have what it takes to be a parent to a teenager. Maybe doing some good yoga/stretches this week will help. Even meditations if you can.

PT kicked my butt again and then we weighed I am up 2lbs and my bf% is up 1 percent she doesn't understand it and I know I am at a loss.

Chris-hopefully he will straighten out soon, I had daughters and my youngest was a handful.

Today was yoga and I did about an hour of P90X Yoga X. I like that one, it's tough. I was sweating like crazy. I really wish it wasn't an hour and half workout. I wish they would have sort of shortened it to an hour. It is a great workout, though.

I'm doing so much better with the poses and the stretching in general. I can now turn my body to do prayer twist and all those twisting moves. When I started this, I could not twist and do any of those moves. So I'm finally seeing some dramatic changes. I can flow through the poses quickly and with ease instead of being very careful not to pull a muscle doing them. It's awesome! I need some new yoga workouts, though. Getting tired of the ones I have.

Belinda - That is a great idea about doing workouts on youtube but I don't want to take my laptop in my workout room. I wonder if I can download them and put them on a DVD? I'll have to look into that. Yes, please let me know which yoga channels you like. Thanks!
