Crazy, strong and loving it for January!!

Today for me will be Xtrain Legs. I am physically and mentally exhausted and just want some semblence of normal back into my life.

Debbie-good job with the yoga. Hows the shoulder today?

Turbo Jam 2 is done:). I am in love with TJ. Those workouts are so much fun and the music rocks.

Roxie - hang in there, girl. It will get better. That is great news about your house.

Nora - how do you like LMC? They look high impact to me, don't think I can do those, hah? WTG,y esterday;) I follow CJ's modifers, I still get a great workout in. Love those workouts.

I just finished working out for today and will now check in.

Here's today's workout:

Les Mills Combat- Ultimate Warrior Workout (Combat 60 Live)= 60 Min
MV= 7.50
CB= 614 Definitely puke worthy.

Les Mills Combat- Core Attack= 20 Min
MV= 5.0
CB= 137

Total Calories burned= 751:cool: Not feeling great today after last nights MS injection but ok enough to workout, it just wasn't a stellar workout performance by me is all. I still got it done and that's what counts.

Belinda- Les Mills Combat is not a particularly high impact workout, there is a little impact but there is also a modifier person working out in every video showing the low impact options. I really enjoy Les Mills Combat and love boxing and all the mixed martial arts elements to me that is fun stuff. I always smile when I am doing it. I find LMC to be less impact than many of the workouts I own but it is high intensity which I love and If I'm feeling a little sore or whatever I can choose to do the less impact option and follow the modifier on that day. If you are finding TJ and modification to be a great fit for you keep at it then. If you feel like a little more I'd suggest LMC its awesome but only if your up to it. Be careful and not risk injury its never worth it in the long run and delays your body's natural healing abilities, so follow doctors orders, ok. ;)

Roxie- It is a lot of work, worry, and stress to try and sell a house I know I've done it and with two small children age 4 and 2, it was not easy. I hung in there and had to be a constant clean freak more than normal keeping the house in constant ready to show state of clean for realtors. Ugh, that was tough, but it did pay off and we did sell the house. I'm confident you will too, just hang in there. ((Big Hugs));)

Debbie- WTG with Yoga Sculpt, I do like her workouts and did them in the past. Yes, coming home to a nice warm house when its arctic weather outside is the best, like getting a nice warm hug welcoming you home. Take care and hugs and prayers to you and your mom.;)

Chris- How are you doing? Probably working to hard as usual, but even still I hope all is well with you.;):)

Today I had a PUKE STATUS workout! I chose Cardio Coach #6 with Candace and really hit it hard. I skipped Challenge 3 because I didn't think I'd have the time to do the entire workout, but after I did Challenge 4, I realized I still had 15 minutes. So I went back and did Challenge 3. Glad I did!

CARDIO STATS:

Hey All!

Missed a few days again! :eek:

I usually read everyone's posts for the day, but don't post for whatever reason (something pulls me away). But I am here!

Today I think I may take a rest day. I have to drive my mom home from her MRI (she's at a hospital that's local, near me), so I had to re-arrange my groceries and errands. I might try a little Tabatacise later, just for a shortie. We'll see. My mom has been having wonky pancreas symptoms, that's why she's having the MRI. If you think of it, say a little prayer for her that everything is ok. Since I am an Oncology nurse, my mind tends to wander that way for everything, ya know?

I have been following the 90 Day Xtrain Undulating Rotation. This is my 4th week. I'm getting a little restless, and might switch up. Not sure I can stick with this for 2 more months! :eek: But I do love the workouts!!!! The weight workouts are some of my favorites of all of Cathe's so far.

Belinda: Turbo Jams wicked fun workouts! I did those so much for a while, when I first got them. Cardio Party 3 is my favorite!! The 20 Minute one is a nice quickie! And the ab workouts are awesome on there too!. It's nice you found some low impact stuff. How is your foot feeling?

Debbie: I read about your mom , too! So sorry to hear she's having troubles. The poor thing. Did they schedule the surgery for her? Hopefully the pain is gone. I can't imagine the headaches she has had. .... Nice job on cardios and yoga this week!!..... It is also c-c-c-cold here too! I have a new infrared spacec heater that has been my lifesaver, seriously! I hate going out of the house though!

Roxie: So are you out of your house now? With hubby? How are you liking Xtrain stuff?

Nora: Excellent workouts , as usual! I agree, Les Mills Combat is a blast, I love it too! There are some free full length workouts on youtube, I lost the link though. I'll share it when I find it, though!

Chris-no we still live in our house we are not moving until it sells we have been moving stuff to storage where we are moving to so at least alot of it will be there. Dh is still driving back and forth, the bosses want me to do that after we get moved down there or just have him continue to drive there everyday.
 
Morning ladies,

We have no heat since yesterday. They guy who come out yesterday told us the part for the heater isn't coming until Monday or Tuesday, WTH? Yeah, we have a pellet stove and heat upstairs. It's cold downstairs, no matter how you shake the stick. After I heard no heat until Monday/Tuesday..I was like what about overnight shipping? Hallo? He said he would make some phone calls and whola the found the part. Hopefully the can put the part in today. it's freezing cold in my living/kitchen. DH and I went and bought a space heater for the living room (it clams it covers 1000 sqft, right) I think after the repairman fixes the heater, I will return the space heater.

I did managed to get a UB and abs in last night.

I will be back later.

I didn't get my workout in again last night so I did XTBS Bis & Tris this morning along with All Out Low HiiT and part of Core 1 I think I am starting to fall off the Xtrain.

Belinda-it would suck to have no heat its starting to warm up here but then it sounds like its suppose to get cold again.

Belinda: Hope your heat gets fixed today! I hate to be cold!

I substituted Monday's workout to do today in place of it. I need to go to the Neurologist Monday so I have that appointment and won't be able to workout Monday. So, I just finished Monday's workout today and will now check in.

Hi all,

I just finished a mix of workouts: I did Slim Sculpt Pilates with Bands (UB/LB /ABS) for 30 min. Really liked it! And it was tough, lol:confused:. Than I did 10 min abs on the ball, followed by Cindy Whitmarch "Fat Burn Circuit" 22 min. Great mix of workouts.


Nora - those workouts are tough, wtg! Hope you get some rest.

Now it's time to relax. Dinner is in the crock pot, it smells so good. I will be back in the morning. Need to map out my workouts for next week;)

 
Today I didn't feel much like working out. I woke up numerous times last night with a really bad stomach ache. I was hoping I wasn't coming down with that stomach flu. I feel better now but didn't really do a real long workout. Yesterday evening I was planning on doing CC #7, but this morning I just didn't have it in me.

I chose Cardio Coach #1 and did ok with it.

Belinda - Glad you got your heat back, that had to suck! We have a pellet stove as well, I love that thing. It keeps our house nice and warm, about 80 degrees. I don't mind it being cold when I have that thing on!

Debbie - hope you are not coming down with something. Feel better. I love the pellet stove too, it's in my worout room in the basement. I am so glad we got one now. lol.
