Hallo and good morning.

I will do cardio today, not sure what yet? Maybe I will go for a run or do some kickboxing:eek:

Hallo to everyone that follows today!

Talk to you later!

Hallo:eek:

My excerise today was iTread Set 12, 60 min. I was gonna run outside, but around 10 a.m, it was getting ot hot! I burned 610 cal.

Time to get busy! Take care!

A heat way is coming through Wisconsin. 80's during the week and a high of 92 is being predicted for the weekend. Yuck!

Today was cardio for me as well. I did the BM2 Cardio Timesaver workout. I started out half asleep - but had to wake up really fast! I was soaked by the time I finished. I forgot to put my HRM on this morning though, oh well.

Good morning. I did Power Max this morning. Starting to get some DOMS in my butt and legs from yesterday. WEW HEW!

Belinda-I didn't go on the RT this year. I'm going to try to do the one in Daytona though.

Karen-good workout.

Have a good day.

Bev

I did do Ab Ripper yesterday when I got home from work. Love that workout. Expected to be sore today but nothing. Weird.

This morning was cardio. Got up and wanted to go right back to bed. Not sure what is wrong with me lately. Of course, I didn't, but still. I'm usually wide awake when I get up but lately it takes all I have to get going. Could have something to do with dh and kitty cat waking me up with snoring and purring every night. LOL!

I chose one of my Cardio Coach mixes. It has 3 challenges on it, Challenge #2 from CC #8 (the 2 - 8 minute intervals), Challenge #1 from CC #7 (the 10 - alternating hill climb/sprints) and a challenge from CC #6S (5 - 1 minute sprints). Had an excellent workout. I felt VERY accomplished when I got this done.

HR STATS:1 hr. 4 minutes
3 minutes below zone
22 minutes in zone
37 minutes above zone
528 calories burned
4 miles travelled

Now, I am having knee pains again. Shooting, burning pain in my entire right knee cap area. Very frustrating. It went away for a while and now it's back. I took some Aleve and that seems to help.

I can't help but think it has something to do with me being misaligned. I'm having trouble with my entire right side of my body. Shoulder pain, hip pain, glute pain and now knee pain. Stretching does seem to help and I need to focus on that more. I just don't understand what's going on. Even with a full week off, these pains still persist.

Anyways, getting really frustrated with my body lately. I don't feel like I'm overloading it and I take breaks every 8 to 12 weeks, so I just don't get it.

Happy with this workout, though!

Debbie - what's up? I hope your kitty is behaving. I hope you are enjoying STS. I hope Gene and your mom are well. Just wanted to catch up!

Hi Wendy! Kitty is sort of behaving. He attacked my stability ball the other day and I had to get a new one. Cost only $8 at Wal Mart and it's a nice one. Can't beat that price, they usually range from $20-$25. How have you been girl???

Heather - How is your ankle? I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you iced it last night.

Debbie - My ankle is still very sore. I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow in fact. Really unhappy with myself right about now. Guess today is a rest day... I did ice it down, but it didn't seem to help at all so I'm a little worried. It isn't swollen though. Maybe that's a good sign.

Oh, and I do hope your knee is ok. I have problems with my left knee (Jumper's/Runner's knee) and I use one of those patella bands. Not sure if that's what's going on with your knew. It sure made a world of difference for me.

What a crazy 2 nights it's been for me. I've been SLEEPING THE ENTIRE night, not having to get up to check Zach's blood sugars (DH is off and does it!). It feels soooo freakin good to sleep without getting up every 3-4 hours. And then this morning, I got up at 5am to use the bathroom and COULD have actually gotten up, but went back to sleep and slept until... get this.... 7:45a!!!

Today on tap for me is a 50 minute run, which I am gladly taking to the park in a few minutes.... I have definite DOMS in my chest and some in my bi's and tri's . Not a lot in my lower body though. But I'm sure I will after my run today...haven't run in a while.

Belinda: Yay for your itread today!

Karen: that BM2 premix sounds like a good one. You have me 1/2 wanting to do it, but I do want to run outside today.

Bev: Good cardio today! PowerMax is a fun oldie but goodie!

Roxie: So do you think SI6 is kind of beginner/intermediatte? what do you think of it for the first workout?

Debbie
: Sorry about your aches and pains. They sound bothersome and frustrating. Have you seen a doctor about them at all? Or maybe a chiropractor?... the CC's are tough stuff! ... I have 2 cats, and the female, Samantha, is getting quite a belly on her from eating too much. She was bugging me this morning because her dry food bowl was empty. Little piggy! I swear, as soon as I put some food in , she left me entirely alone!

Heather: Hope your ankle is better today!!

*WAVES* to Nora, Patti, Wendy!!! (did I miss someone?)

Today is going to have to be an unscheduled rest day for me. I’ll do abs at least. I may try to do legs, but I know I can’t do any lunges other than static lunges, no step ups either (hate those anyway LOL). But I'm going to test my ankle before even trying with weights, and if there is the slightest twinge, I'm not going to push it. I do have an appt. with my doctor tomorrow morning.

Chris – Glad to hear you’re getting some much-needed rest. What a great feeling I'm sure. Have fun on your run today!

Karen – Sounds like you had a good cardio session – got you moving huh??? That’s a fun premix.

Belinda – I had to look up iTread. Interesting. Sounds like fun. Glad you had a good workout.

Roxie – Hope you’re enjoying your new workouts!

Bev – Aren’t DOMS great!! Makes you feel like you really did something!

Debbie – glad to hear you were still able to get in your cardio. Hope your aches and pains get better soon too!

Heather

Chris-It was ok but I didn't get a major cal burn. They tell me when I move to the next week it will get harder and then the 2 weeks after that are even harder.

Morning! I did the original Bootcamp today- taking a week or two to do circuits and whatever I feel like doing. Then I'm starting a heavy lifting rotation for a while. Thanks for the picture love yesterday, you all are so sweet. I'll post a few more in a minute because why not??

Chris: Good for you on sleep! It makes a world of difference. I slept an hour and a half with the kids at naptime yesterday and still went to bed at 9:30, slept until about 7. The RT wore me OUT!

Heather: Rest that ankle! I hate injuries. Take care and hopefully this is something that will solve itself in a day or two.

Roxie: Keep us posted on the new rotation, especially intensity wise. I'm curious.

Hi Bev, Belinda, Karen, Wendy and Debbie! Did I miss anyone?? I'm still half asleep with piles of laundry, lol. Le sigh.

I talked to Brenda for a while- she is so outgoing and sweet.

Isn't she adorable? Love her!

Heather - I'm sorry to hear about your ankle. You might just have to wrap it and let it heal. What a pain. I hate injuries. What kind of pain did you experience with runner/jumper knee? I do have one of those bands and used it before when I did a lot of step. Maybe I need to start using it again?

Chris - I should see a doctor but I know what they will say, "Nothing is wrong." It's too hard to find muscular problems. When my back went out I went to doctor upon doctor and they kept telling me nothing was wrong yet I couldn't sit or stand for more then seconds at a time. I just keep hoping it will take care of itself but it's so persistent. No chiro's for me. Went to one when I had low back problems and the a-hole made it worse. Never again. I guess I just need to grin and bear it, huh?? Hey! Glad you were able to sleep so good! That is great news!

Patti - Love the photos!!!

Nice workouts everyone!!!!

Debbie - my knee would hurt right in the middle of the kneecap and upwards from there. Any jumping or squatting motion just killed me. It took about a week of wearing the band (and getting used to exercising with it), but now as long as I wear it, there is no pain. Now just pain elsewhere!!!

I had a similar experience with a hip injury when I was dancing. I went to 2 diff. physical therapist, had MRIs and the whole nine yards. Was even on Vioxx. They never found anything wrong, but it still hurts to this day when I do certain things (ballet related).

Good morning, girls!

Today is cardio. And, Chris, you've inspired me to run outside. I just talked to the family, and the girls will ride their bike and DH and I will run around the lake. It's finally getting cooler (only 87 today) and it's a grand idea!
Debbie, I almost asked about your "bursting knee pain", but hoped it was all gone. DRAT!
Patti, you just sparkle, my friend! Great photos - keep sharing!
Heather, I hope resting your ankle makes it ALL BETTER. I'm sorry for your pain.
Karen, Bev, Roxie and Belinda - nice job on your workouts. Keep it up!

We had a great ride yesterday - rode up to the Johnston Observatory at Mt St Helens! Debbie - logging some miles on your bike?!???
I'll check back later.....

Wendy, are you riding again? I thought you got rid of your bike?

Yep, I think I have about 5,000 miles on my motorcycle already. LOVE IT!!!

And I never feel guilty when I pass a bike rider. I usually just laugh at them. :)

I had an AWESOME endorphin flying run at the park! So glad I did it! Something about running puts me in the best mood... I thought it might be too hot, but it was great, cool in the shaded areas, with a nice breeze in between the sunny hot spots. I did a few hills and the duck pond steps a few times. Good stuff! ..

Heather: You really should rest your ankle today. I do know how hard it is. I broke my toe last Fall and went bezerk trying to find workouts I could do. I was desperate! But if it's not swollen or red , it's probably just sprained/strained. You should RICE it (Rest, Ice, Compress or wrap it, and Elevate it).

Roxie: Yes, do keep up updated on SI6. i'm very curious ..

Patti
: OMG. what AWESOME pictures!!! It's funny, because on videos , Brenda never speaks, so it's hard to picture her personality. How tall are you? Is everyone really short or are you really tall? LOL!. ... Cedie's personality just seems to burst from her expressions, though. Always smiling, through the toughest stuff. She gets me through a LOT of workouts, just looking at her and knowing if she can SMILE during it, than I can do it too!. .. Anyways, you look great, do keep sharing pictures!... Good job on BC today! what was your favorite workout on the RT? Hey, did you guys do a PJ night on saturday?

Debbie: I understand on the doctor thing. And to tell you the truth, I'm not all into chiropractors either, but I now people do well with them. Maybe some sort of physical therapist? A sports therapist even? Someone to help you figure out what to do to make those aches go away and what makes it worse.

Wendy: YEAH for a run outside!! it's the best! have fun!!!

Chris: Oh, you sound so happy after your run- love that feeling! Brenda is so open and smiling and just...happy. I loved her. And I know on Cedie! Brenda told a cool story about how Cedie asks in rehearsals what Cathe is going to lift and usually can "bang it out" just like Cathe. She teases Brenda to lift the same and Brenda says she can't hang with them. Yeah right! But it was cute to hear her tell it. :)

Debbie: I hear you on chiros- I like the PT idea, though. I had a fabulous PT really help me once.

Hi Wendy! You make me want a bike. DH has one but never rides these days. He misses it.

I need to get some of those knee strap things if I am going to tackle Insanity at some point.
