core max session #2

I did CoreMax Session #2 for the first time last night. I have done session #1 quite a bit. I thought my workout was a bust because I couldn't stay on that stupid ball for those knee rolls (I didn't even attempt the pikes!!). Well today my abs and obliques are soooooo sore. I was getting a lot of it just by trying to stabilize on that ball. Cathe's workouts are so effective even if you haven't mastered them. Just the attempt really gives you a workout!!!

Core Max #2 is quite a challenge! I love that I must completely, mentally focus on each exercise in order to physically execute them. What started as a love/hate relationship with my stability ball is evolving into a love relationship. Good for you for staying with it...keep going back to it and before you know it you'll be doing those knee roll-ins AND pikes!

I did one of the premixes yesterday and felt like the biggest dork as the ball kept slipping away out from under me. I don't use a mat..just the carpet. Think a mat would help? Aren't yoga mats kinda sticky? I wonder if I should get one...of course, it could just be that shopping bug.

I have just carpet also. You may be onto something. However, I don't think I can totally dismiss my lack of balance.:D

Kim - Thanks for the encouragement. There are many Cathe workouts that I have to modify in one way or another but each one I treat as a fitness goal to go further next time. This is without a doubt the best exercise program I have ever done and I was a Firm Believer for about two years.
 
This is my favorite of the Coremax's. Cathe's ball work really creeps on your muscles, but in a nice way!;)
