***Coolers, Thrilled for Thursday***

Morning,
Today was most of S&H Bi's Tri's and abs. I cut out the wrist curls and barbell work. Tonite is a golf lesson, probably one of last ones of the season for me as winter will be coming on us. I also have to put together a chili relleno casserole for DH to take to work tomorrow. He said he'd help. Help, heck, I think he should do the whole thing.

Will be a busy day at work today, as usual. Yesterday, I hardly left my desk. Flat butt syndrome, and when you have a big butt like me, it just flattens out wider.

We're planning on woodcutting this Saturday and Sunday. I told DH that it's supposed to be raining on Saturday but he wants to go anyway. Can't let him go by himself so guess I'll be there too:(.

BBL,

Good Morning Ladies,

It seems we were all tired last night. I fell asleep while waiting for the newest version of itunes to download. Never got around to doing KPC. It's on the agenda tonight after ds' soccer game.

Jeanette... LOL... Poor Captain. He's tired from carting around all your drinks!!! Help the man cook!!!:p;) Can you stand up every 20 minutes or so at work? I was reading that sitting for long periods isn't good for your piriformis muscle. I'm guilty of that too when I homeschool the girls. But, it feels sooo good. Maybe, I should have Phil hang my dry erase board on the wall to get me off my butt.

Kim... Yes, it's fun watching the boys play soccer and football. I have more fun listening to them talk. I'm so proud of the men they are becoming. It's a nice season in life!

Laurie... It's cold here this week. I couldn't imagine walking on the deck of a ship in any dress. Hopefully, it will be a warm evening for the wedding.

Patricia... Good for you for pushing play. I hate losing posts. It happens so easily on my laptop. UGH!!!!

Debra... Whooo Hooo! What cha doing?

Okay ladies. I've got to give Baby a bath. She smells like she rolled her body over something dead. She's caged in on the top deck right now. So, I may make her wait a bit.:D

Ballistic Hugs!
Wendy

Hi all! Sorry I haven't been around...School and watching CNN has been keeping me busy!!! :p I have been keeping up with my workouts this week...a huge change from last week... But I haven't done anything yet today. DD starts piano lessons tonight, so that should be interesting! I had a little gathering last night with some girlfriends...It was nice to be out of the house and have adult conversation with women! :)

Wendy...
Polly always get into some sort of nastiness when she goes running outside...She comes home smelling like a$$!!!:eek: I hope Baby is all clean and shiny now!

Jeanette....
Maybe I will copy your workout today...or maybe I will just lay around some more!! LOL! Would you send me the recipe for the casserole you are making?? That sounds really good! I need some winter meals to make for CBL and the diva. He found a white chili recipe he wants me to do soon. I am sure you will have a great golf lesson! :)

No time to catch up with earlier personals...as it is about time to go get the Diva! :p I hope to be back later this evening.

KPC and stability ball abs DONE as produced. It feels good to finish my workout so early.:D I also added on all the rotator cuff exercises that didn't require a partner.

Laurie... How did your dd's cross country meet go today? I was thinking of you while I was shivering on the steel bleachers at ds' soccer game. brrrrr!!!

Hello Debra Dear... Are you watching CNN?:D I was sooo mean to Baby. My children told me I was downright abusive because I put her on the front deck until dd could bathe her in the afternoon. I figured she could run around inside the enclosed deck and not roll over dead animals and then the furniture!!! She seriously stank!!!! Even after her bath in doggie spa rice shampoo!!! Is the Diva taking piano lessons? dd is starting harp lessons again next week. She's not very happy about it. I told her that I didn't care... Later in life, she'd thank me for forcing her to do it.:D

Oh, eldest ds is homesick big time. He called me THREE times today. I miss him, even though I do blame him for every single gray hair on my head.;)

Well, I guess I could listen to the debates.

Chat more later.

Wendy

Just finished a 1 hr power walk on the tm while watching the PM debate. Getting very nervous about my job interview tomorrow  , it's not until 3:30 so will have some time to prepare and of course figure out what to wear.

Debra Is this your dd's first year taking piano? My dd started when she was 4 so is on her 5th year already! We still fight over practicing though!

wendy I'm glad that you're getting some quality time with your boys!

Jeanette LOL on the flat butt! Is work going to quiet down soon for you?? Sitting to long isn't a problem at my work, keeping a straight face when clients complaining that their wrist is hurting more due to handcuffs being too tight was an issue today.

Patricia, what are you painting?? The cottage??

Laurie Are you still really busy at work?? Did you look at the October rotation?
Kim

Evenin All

Been busy reading all the ruckus on OP from yesterday. All I can say OMG:confused::confused:

Did 1/2 hr of Yoga X and that was about all the interest I could give it this week. Have to do it 2x next week but hey, at least it'll be a recovery week:p

Wendy - what do you mean after six kids you're not a breeder? Pretty nasty stuff there yesterday.

Kim - I paused on the debate and said nope, not interested. Paused on the VP debate and ditto there. Thought it might be easier to read all the reviews tomorrow:D:D I pretty much know whom I voting for. Gee only a couple weeks to go. Yesterday was a volunteer day for me with Habitat for Humanity. Funny, this time last year I paid a painter to paint my main floor and a year later I'm painting someone else's house for free. Something not right there....:)

Jeanette - WTH is chilli relleno? I can empathise on the busy day's and never getting up. Some days its noon hour b/4 I stop for a bathroom break. A lot of my days for the next month or so will probably be standing in front of a photocopier. :(:( We have a legal situation now at work that just started so I have about a years worth of paper that has to be copied and organized in several binders to prepare. All I can say is Yuck.

Debra - so was it your DD that wanted to take piano or you pushing her into it. I remember taking lessons off and on as a kid and think it should be something all children have an opportunity for. Even took guitar but ABSOLUTELY no talent here:( I've been playing (yes pun intended) around with the idea of buying a keyboard. DH has a guitar, a couple electric ones and a couple bases (which I note he rarely plays). I get a nice finished basement to work out in and I exiled all his toys to the unfinished part - hmm, maybe that's why he doesn't play much!

Laurie - hope you had a good day? Did you watch the debate?

Night all

Boring debate... Hope the Canadians watching it have switched the channel to the PM debate.

Kim... We must have posted at the same time. I've heard that when kids are in middle school, they stop fighting practice and start enjoying their accomplishments. I'll soon see. I'm not holding my breath!!!

Patricia... What kind of question is that? Seriously.

Had a great golf lesson today. My instructor is awesome. After December 1, he goes back to the valley. I'll miss my lessons as they've really helped. Came home and made the chili relleno casserole. Goes something like this:

Chili Relleno Casserole

Canned whole green chilis (drained)
Green onions (chopped)
Grated cheese (can use Mexican, Montery Jack, sharp cheddar, whatever)
Sausage (fried and crumbled)
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
dash of salt
salsa

Grease or spray a large rectangular pan. Layer the whole green chilis, green onions, grated cheese and sausage 2 times. Mix approx. 6 eggs with 1 cup of milk and 1/4 c. flour and dash of salt. Pour over the layers. Top with more cheese. Bake approx. 40 minutes at 325 degrees, then pull out, spread salsa on top and top with more cheese. Bake for another 10 minutes or so.

As you can tell, this is from memory, but I don't think you can go wrong with it as I've seen variations with all different amounts of ingredients.

Patricia, I made myself get up a couple times today, plus did a 20 minute walk during my break. Glad I did. Tomorrow will be busy too. Sigh. I was really crabby today, and so many others were too today. Think it's because the weather is going to turn bad this weekend. Something in the air. Yuck on the copying you are going to do.

Kim, LOL about keeping a straight face re: the wrists hurting due to handcuffs. I'm sure you felt their pain  Sending good vibes out on the interview tomorrow. "You can do it", (in my best Ahhnold voice). How's DS's leg doing?

Wendy, great job on KPC and stability ball abs. Did you do the entire workout? It's been ages since I've finished a cardio workout in it's entirety. Me, right here, the laziest Xer, remember sistah? My title.:p Yuck, stinky dead animal smelling dogs! Ours will even roll on their backs on top of an earthworm. Wonder why they like to roll in bad stuff? If your dog ever gets sprayed by a skunk, a good remedy that we've used is to wash them with canned milk (evaporated). Works good.

Debra, do you have a piano? I didn't remember seeing one. Maybe a keyboard? Glad you had a good time with the girlfriends. Nice to get out and socialize. Way to go on keeping up with the workouts. Big plans for this weekend? Did you get to go antiquing with your mama last weekend?
