Starting us off. I did get my 60 min steady state run in yesterday did just over 5 miles on the treadmill with some walking at the warm up and cool down. My legs are just a bit sore this morning as I haven't been doing much running lately.

Today I have to really get some housework down after playing all weekend last week :p . Today the plan is groceries, workout (B&G), clean the floors and drain the pool. DS will come home for lunch so will have to go and get him. Also I got a phone msg yesterday from a job that I applied for a few weeks ago, I guess I should phone back to setup an interview time  Scary! I've been at the same job for 13 yrs, and I'm not sure if I want to leave. I'll at least go to the interview and get more info as it's a new program.

Jeanette I'm glad that you were able to diagnose the problem, it seems quite reasonable from all the cycling and computer work you do! I think Stretch Max is a good idea to try. I really like SM1 for after running. It's a good leg stretch in a short time. WooHoo on DH being home!! Oh Jeanette, I just read about your flat tire, I'm sorry but I had to laugh but I'm sure it was very frustrating for you! I double my MIL has ever had bone density tests but she has some risk factors such as smoking and drinking. :( She retired 2 yrs ago as a nurse at the children's hospital and she still does casual work, they'll miss her this fall as she usually does lots of hours and covers the flu vaccination clinics at the hospital.

Laurie I know lots of people who watch Heros but I never have. I have too many shows I enjoy watching and can't start anymore. I watched the Office and ER last night and tape Survivor to watch on the weekend.

Gotta to get ds up and ready for school, he always seems so tired these days. I guess healing and hopping on one foot all day is really fatiguing. He comes home from school just wiped out. The kids have Monday off school so I took the day off from work and we don't have many plans so looking forward to it!

Good morning,
Today was a premix from LowMax (4-7), then finished up with some leg and back stretches. Tonite will be golf with 2-3 other gals. Looking forward to it. Weather should be a little warmer too, though it's been just beautiful. Planning on some housework tomorrow morning, while DH finishes placing gravel in the back yard. In the afternoon, we plan on taking the dogs out to the woods and relaxing. Sunday will be a group bike ride in the morning, with hopefully some golf or golf practice in the late afternoon.

Kim, great job on the treadmill work. Is your DH still training? Are you on vacation right now? I need to hit the housework in the morning for sure. I think I will order StretchMax as I love Cathe's workouts so why not? Go ahead and laugh at me and my botched flat tire change.:p I couldn't believe I did that!!! I sure felt like a dodo. Reminds me I need to go buy some more tubes as I'm down to only a couple extras. Poor DS, hope the leg and (abdomen?) are healing up well. I'm so impressed with your son. Does he still have the paper route? Hope your MIL is feeling better.

Hi to everyone else, going in to work later today, 8-4 boohoo, though it felt nice to have another hour to sleep. I told DH we really need to work on getting to bed sooner. He agreed. Maybe he just agrees with me because it's easier?

No, no holiday for me Jeanette. I only work part time. I always have Fridays off and then every 4th week I only work 3 days so hence Monday off next week. My job classification is a .75 which is 75% of full time which is 3 3/4 days a week which is silly so I work 4 full days and then every 4th week I only work 3 days.:rolleyes: That's government for you. This new job I'm interviewing for is full time. I phoned and set up the interview, there is a panel of 4 people interviewing:(:( Yikes, I really don't know if I want to go.

Morning Coolers,

Todays workout was a 3 mile run, and BBS Timesaver Biceps and Core.

Oldest DD has a cc race on Saturday, and youngest DD has dance. I'm also heading out shopping after all of this with some of my friends. I need to find a cocktail dress for a wedding.

Kim, I get tired just doing those genie hopps in Cathe's workouts, can't imagine having to do that all day long. That leg should be pretty stong once he gets his cast off! I know how you feel about leaving a job that you have had for a long time. I worked for a company for 16 years, and then I got the opportunity to change. Good thing I did, because they closed that plant just last year. But you make so many friends along the way.

Jeanette, Had to LOL about taking advantage of the DH while he is vulnerable. :D :D You are one crafty woman! :D I only saw hay around the horse that one time, but I only go by that place once a day. It is when I get home from work. When i saw the horse eating hay it was on a weekend. Hope animal control has been there!

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi Ladies,

Dh and I took the girls to MIL's house Tuesday afternoon on the spur of the moment. I figured it was the only time we could visit her before classes resumed. We got home late last night.

Looks like everyone is doing well. I'll have to catch up on personals over the weekend. We're leaving tonight after the debates for State College. The girls and I will be spending the week up there. I scheduled a two hour massage onTuesday at the local massage school's clinic. :)

Oh real quick... Jeanette, MyChelle is having a 15% discount sale from now till the end of the month.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!!!

Hi!!!!

Hi all! Sorry I have been MIA lately, but I am having one heck of a week!:eek::eek: I have been super busy and lots of little stuff (and big stuff ) going wrong. Anyhoo, I haven't been able to workout...Well, I guess I really haven't had my head in the game this week, and I have been eating like crazy. I am just planning on starting my life over on Monday...LOL!

a few quickie personals....

Wendy....
Sounds like you are having a busy week too! Hope MIL had a great time on her cruise. Have a wonderful time at SC this weekend! I am glad you have a few days off from school to kind of regroup. :) Will you have all the same students in your next round of classes or does that switch up at all?

Laurie...
You have another busy weekend planned, I see. Have a great time with your girls...running around, shopping and dancing!!! :)

Kim....
Sorry DS is having some issues. Poor guy! He must be exhausted! :( I know I would be! Good luck with your interview for a full time position. :) Sounds like you had a good workout this morning...Maybe you can send some of your motivation down to me!

Jeanette....
Another fun weekend coming up for you, my little grasshopper! I know you and the girls are glad to have DH back home to snuggle with! :D Good for you for getting a little extra shut eye this morning. :) I really like StretchMax...I am sure it would be good for you. ;) XStretch is too much for me, but I like Cathe's version! LOL about your flat last night!!

Well, that does it for me now....Hope everyone has a fun weekend planned. Nothing much going on here for me. I was supposed to go to an antique fair with my mom, but we have lots of rain and it is at an outside venue, so we'll have to wait and see. :p I think CBL and I are going to take DD bowling tomorrow night...so that should be fun. :) Of course, I have my weekly psych test tomorrow and I also have some physics homework. Nothing overly exciting.
