Don't want to leave Belinda hanging! I took a rest day yesterday. My only workout was an hour walk with Baxter. Finished up the curriculum writing and went in the pool.

Today I have TTM on tap :)

TTM is all done! I always think twice about doing this workout because it is so hard. Today I had a blast. It was still hard and I had to pause between the tabatas and the Hiit, but I had so much fun and it goes quick for a workout that clocks in at about an hour long.

Anyway. . . supposed to meet my friends at the beach around 6, but DH had a meeting in Conn. and is just on his way home now. I doubt he will get here in time to go there. I don't know. I was looking forward to it, but it might not happen. This Sunday I invited a bunch of teachers from work for a BBQ to celebrate summer and all but two backed up with other things coming up. Now I don't know if I should still have it or not. My one friend won't care, but the other one is the S.S. teacher on my team. He might feel weird about it. They are supposed to bring their families. I think I'm going to tell him and see what he says.

Belinda- I cannot believe you are almost done with that entire (long) rotation. That is incredible. You must feel good to be in the final stretch of it. What fun you got to take a PIYO class live. My friend loves it. I am not buying it though, lol. I put my preorder in for Cathe's new workouts and cannot wait.

Deb- Drill Max is one I haven't done in a long time. Thinking I need to pull it out this month ;).

Amelia- candy bars in the pool! HA!

Hi,

Yesterday I took yoga class & ran on the track. I switched to my running sneakers (more cushioned) and it made a big difference with my hamstring. Last night it stormed here & we went out for pizza.

Today I decided to take a rest day but almost did 9,000 steps.

Belinda - I remember seeing something about Piyo classes coming soon in the newspaper but no details:confused: Your bodybuilding rotation sounds good!

Kristin - TTM is a hard workout! I would leave it up to the teachers whether to have the BBQ or not.

Amelia - That is a really good price for the gym in your area, but maybe you could just do a trial to see if you like it before committing.

Belinda, glad to hear your dh will not need surgery. It is amazing how finely tuned we are that one thing can affect another part so much. Is he seeing a chiropractor? You must have the most amazing dvd and now download connection.
Amelia, does your dd do the dvds also? When mine was younger, she just would watch a few minutes but not do anything! I have to check out Lori's photos. I could definitely use motivation. Have you been able to get any painting in? If I don't wo first thing in the morning, whether I am really wide awake first or not, it just does not get done.
Kristin, ugh on the curriculum writing. I've done a few days so far this summer and am not crazy about it. No one else on my team (of four!) regularly come, and so it seems to be dumped on me. I did Hard Strikes before vacation and was reminded again of how much fun it is.
Deb, lol at your mother and a cult! I can imagine mine thinking the same thing though. Do you enjoy running? I still haven't seen Frozen, but plan on looking to borrow it next weekend. The OBX storm affected a roadway right near where we stay. I expect it will be fine before we get there in 3 weeks.
Had a fantastic time in Pacific NW and visiting ds2. Gosh, I had missed him so much. Glad we got to spend time w/him since he won't be home anytime soon. It's nice getting to know him as an adult, instead of as a child. DD came in last night and we're going to get our hair done very soon. Tomorrow her boyfriend comes to pick her up, so I'm trying to enjoy the bit of time w/her.

Happy Saturday! I just finished Low Impact Circuit. Haven't done that one in ages. My lower back has major DOMS from yesterday's workout (the core with upper body focus always gets my lower back), so it was challenging, especially doing all this side leg raises.

We never got to the beach last night. DH came home too late to even bother going. We are going today though, around 5. Should be fun. I talked to the few people from work who could make it tomorrow and they still want to come. It should be fun, a little BBQ and pool party.

Cookie- the curriculum writing was only 4 days. I felt like a baby complaining about it. I really do not like to think about school until August, lol. HS is my favorite of her boxing/kickboxing workouts.

Deb- 9,000 steps on a rest day is pretty darn impressive. Glad your hamstring is getting better. TTM is hard, but I feel so accomplished when I finish the Hiit, it feels like cake after that, lol.

Good afternoon,

I have a huge sinus headache since this morning:confused: So far, the meds haven't kicked in. Not sure, if I get a workout in or not?

Cookie - glad you had fun with your kids and you are back. We missed you too. Thanks about DH. He is seeing a chiropractor for a long time. My husband has problems for years with his back. Eventually he does need surgery. He knows that:confused: I do have an amazing dvd collection, I been building it up since years:p I have to admit, I do feel overwhelmed with what I have:confused: I already gave Aleisa sets of workout DVD's:eek: When we moved into our house, the internet connection wasn't the greatest:roll eyes: Even now, our internet could be better:eek: I do have sometimes problems with streaming. My internet in Germany was a lot better than what we have now:eek:

Kirstin - yes, I am almost done with Cathe's Body Building rotation. It was a long, long rotation. I still have 5 more weeks left. Like I said before, don't see a lot on the scale…..but I lost lost of inches. And got very, nice muscle definition. I was hoping for better results, but I take it! LOL! Maybe it's water weight? My next workout will be high reps/ circuit style workouts. I am still on the fence about Cathe's preorder:eek: I already have lot's of heavy weight workouts and HiiT workouts:roll eyes: Plus youtube has amazing HiiT workouts for free!

Debbie - you can look for live classes near you by going to Turbo Kick EventsFind A Class (PI-YO) They are listed there for all the states. Go to the VF forum, you can read all about Charlens's new PiYo workouts. Lot of people sending the set back:eek: The saying there isn't anything new from other yoga workouts. Also the workouts are very, plank/downward facing dog/planks:confused: Too hard on the wrist! I did like the class, but it's not something I would do every day. I thought my shoulders gonna fall off. As far as my bodybuilding rotation goes, I need a break from heavy lifting. At least a few month, lol! Good job yesterday.

Its too early to be up on a Sunday morning:confused:

Yesterday was a 3 mile power walk with leslie - today is either going to be a cathe dvd, a walk or total gym. Not sure yet. I've got a big day ahead of me...its always busy on Sundays.

I ordered 3 Leslie DVD's yesterday :confused::eek: I'm really loving her lately. I also got me some of those walking hand weights to use during her workouts.

Cookie- Glad you had a chance to catch up with your DS and your DD. I have a hair appointment Thursday for a cut and some highlights...its time for a change.

Debbie-Great job on slide and glide. It sure is nice to have the house to yourself's. I told my DH that we need to start having a date night. He agreed, we're going to try for one this week.

Kristin-Great job with LIC, one of my favorites. Have fun at your bbq/pool party. Sounds fun :)

Belinda-Hope your headache eventually went away. My allergies have been causing sinus headaches for me too. Its frustrating.

I didn't get a workout in today, decided to nap instead:eek: I went to the farmer's market & to my in-laws pool. It's funny the people I buy eggs from usually are eating lunch when I go and it is always Burger King it just seems strange they sell such healthy vegetables and eggs and eating that:confused: I guess it could be their cheat day;)

Belinda - Not like you to stop by are you in DC?

Kristin - How was your party?

Amelia - You were up early today:eek: A date night is fun and much needed especially when the kids are young.

Cookie - Now you have an excuse to go the the Pacific NW more often;) How sweet DD has a boyfriend, it this the 1st time you are meeting him. I do like running on the track to Cardio Coach but have only been doing about 20-30 min. runs.

Hey girls, another 3 mile power walk yesterday and I was sweating with those hand weights. They really boosted the walk. Today needs to be the total gym.

Debbie-^5's on the nap yesterday, I'm sure your body was appreciative. LOL at the burger king cheat day.

I will be so relieved when I get home today because I'm off tomorrow:D

Instead working out, I watched the world cup yesterday:eek: Great game;) They all played good yesterday.

I looked through my old computer yesterday and watched XTrain Tabatacise workout. OMG, that looks like fun! Really like the music too. I will do that one tomorrow.

Debbie - you are welcome! I love going to the farmers market. Didn't get a chance to go Saturday. Picked up some green beans last week, they were so good.

Amelia - good job with your walks. Adding weights to your workouts is a good idea.

Today I took a yoga class & did 20 min. walk/run interval on the track. I also got caught in a bad rainstorm today & it looks like I just had a perm;)

Belinda - I was wondering if you caught the big win by Germany, DH was watching it too! Is it hard to take both dogs to the vet at the same time?

I will do Tabatacise today. I preordered Cathe's new dvd's last night. Did you girls ordered the dvd's or downloads. Or both?

Debbie - yes, it was hard:roll eyes: One of my dogs shakes, he is so afraid:( Poor thing. We changed vets. We had Banfield before, it got a little pricey for my taste. They always wanted to run unnecessary tests on the dogs. My lab has some cysts on his chest. i had them tested in Germany a few times, they always told me is fatty tissue. Nothing else. Banfield wanted to do the most expensive tests on him:eek: I always spend so much money on stuff the dogs didn't need. I spend like $300 to 500 every time I left the office:roll eyes: The vet is like only 5 min from my house. Benfield was like 45 min one way. The vet was really nice and he also explained/told me not to worry about the cysts on Browler. My dogs are good until next year. No extra cost:eek:

I didn't do Tabatacise today, I ended up doing JS Belly, Buns & Thights = 15 min + Fat Burning Cardio =30 min and 10 min abs. I didn't feel like doing a lot of high impact today. Maybe I will do one tabata workout later:eek: I have to see how long they are first?

I just did Tabatacise 1+2 w/warmup and cool down. Now I am done! It was hard on my legs:( My right heal started cramping up with all that jumping:confused: Not good for my heal spur/PF!

Hi guys! Two rest days in a row. Sunday we had my work friends over for a bbq. Thankfully the weather held up for us to have a good time. Monday we went to a car dealership to get a new car. I have been wanting a new car for over a year, but held off for as long as I could. With my car needing an inspection and knowing I was going to have to get repairs done I decided now was the time. We traded in my 2007 Jeep Compass (which I got in 2006) for a 2015 Ford Explorer. This truck is awesome. It has leather seats, climate control, two moon roofs, 3rd row seating, Bluetooth, navigation, rear camera, all kinds of bells and whistles. I'm still reading up on all the cool techie things it can do.

Today I did MM. I haven't done this workout in some time and it felt good. I forgot about those plié squats. They burn me so bad, lol. It was another rainy day, so I took the boys to the library and we all got some books to read.

Hopefully tomorrow will be nice out and I can lounge by the pool and read my book.

Belinda- be careful with the high impact. I love tabatcise when I feel like doing it. I hate it if I force myself to do it. It is sooo hard. It makes CCC feel like a cakewalk. You did the preorder, huh? I only get the dvds. I don't want the downloads. I have no use for the downloads at this time. I like the dvds, getting the covers, putting them in my collection, lol. I don't like downloading books either, even though I have an Ipad. I'd rather hold the book in my hand, lol.

Amelia- some of my friends love the LS walking dvds. Many have lost a lot of weight doing those workouts. Are the ones you ordered new?

Deb- between the high humidity and rain, my hair is a mess, lol. I admire women who can keep their hair straight and tame in this humid, rainy weather. I just put mine in a bun in the back, lol. I give up! LOL at the people selling fresh farm food for health and then eating BK.
