Commit to get Fit & Lean for December 2014

Good morning,

I will do Burn Sets: Bic+Tric=37 min + SBF Barre 14=35 min + Bring Sally Up Booty=10 min. I also will do JS Crunchelss Abs=15 min.

Cookie - I hope I don't get what Aleisa had. LOL, I will tell her:D CLB is crowing on me.I can't wait to hear reviews on RWH. I also enjoy JS's workout. Did you buy anymore of her downloads? And which ones do you have? I bought The Ultimate Workouts for Weight Loss 4 DVD Collection and Walk on 3 DVD Super Sets. The only one I don't have is Thin in 10?

Debbie - OH NO! Hope you feel better soon. Get lots of rest! I am taking lots of Vitamin C. I spoke to Alesia last night, she sounded like crap. Thanks,I will tell her.

Kirstin - what makes you and Cookie think the music selection was for Cindy? Is she OK? Anyway I love the music in XTrain:D You are right, the workouts grow on me. Having lots of fun! I hope you get your new dvd's soon. I never understood how people far away got their dvd's faster than someone that lives closer to NJ?

I will be back later. Happy Hump Day!

'Evening!
Belinda, I have JS's 3-walking download set , stride & strength on dvd, downloads of total body balance, walking for wt loss, thin in 10, 10 lbs down tb, 10 lbs down cardio abs, 10 lbs cardio, and jiggle free arms. So I should be down about 30 lbs but am not. However, I do really like her wo. It seems to hit the endorphins just right for me. I'm trying to not acquire anything unless I really, really can justify the workout. Other than Cathe JS the only ones I've boughten this year is Travis Elliott's short and sweet, and a preorder on 0-60. Plus, discovering how much I like the downloads on a newer laptop means less dvds taking up space. Hope your dd is doing better, and so are you!
Kristin, hope you didn't get much snow today. Our roads where we live were bad and the local districts closed, but not in the city. And it is so challenging driving anyway in sleet and snow but when folks are walking in the street! it is just crazy. Did you get rwh today? I changed my mind and did lift chest, shoulders, triceps, all of which are talking to me. I think you'll really like it.
Wendy, did you order rwh? Sorry, I can't remember.
Deb, hope you're feeling better, and that you stayed home to rest rather than contend with the weather.
Did the new rwh hiit for chest, shoulders and triceps. Loved it. A few new tweaks but really gets ya good. Seems strange not to see CeeDee in her regular spot.
Cookie

I got my RWH yesterday! Bad news is I didn't get to do a workout. My boys were in rare form last night. It took me two hours to get homework done. Then they were misbehaving at dinner. When I punished them by making their bedtime earlier it became another fight. When they finally went to bed I just previewed one DVD. Today I am going to do RWH upper body circuit and bonus abs 1. I'll be back to report my thoughts and personals. I still have a headache from last night. I swear I was in a Calgon take me away commercial !

Good morning,

After I am done with my coffee I will do SBF Mat 3 = 35 min + XTrain Legs = 52 min + JS Cardio Barre Wo = 15 min.

Cookie - :p:p:p I know what you mean:p I should be down 50 pounds the way I work out, right? The weight is coming down, but only because I watch what I eat:( JS's all her walking DVD set. I have 10 lbs down tb, 10 lbs down cardio abs, 10 lbs cardio. I don't have Thin in 10 and jiggle free arms. I still have a lot of dvd's, prefer downloads now. Like you, they take up less space. My husband is out of town until Friday, Aleisa came and is staying with me. Thanks, she is doing a little better. She sounds like crap. She felt coming up the stairs last night, poor thing:(

Kirstin - sorry about your boy's:( LOL, about Calgon take me away commercial!! That's funny! How did you like the new workout?

Waving Hi to everyone that checks in after me. BBL!

Ladies,

So I worked out Monday & Tuesday but then my editor send me an email telling me she wanted to move my February 4th release (Surviving the Rachel) to...NEXT WEEK. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! So I have been working like a mad woman! I will keep you posted!! But yeah, nights I should be working out are now spend proofing and editing. ;-)

Kristin-I got my RWH too...but I'm afraid I'm not in shape enough to tackle them after taking November off!!

Debbie-I really hope you don't have what I had. IT LASTED A MONTH. Sending healing vibes your way!!

Cookie-I'm trying to do the same with workouts. I didn't get the new Kelly's. Just the new Cathe's. I have so many I already don't do but when something like RWH comes out I'm CONVINCED I need it in my life. HA!!!

Belinda-I find most of my weight loss comes from really watching what I eat. I was working out 5-6 days a week and the scale didn't move until I moved to a more Primal eating plan.

:) Wendy

Hi everyone. So I had a yearly check up today. My appointment was for 4:45. The doctor didn't see me until 6:45 . Anyway, I was dying to do a RWH workout, but UBC was not it. I did Low Impact Hiit 1 and Bonus Abs one. I loved every minute of the workout. I thought I would miss the soundalike music, but the music is great, very motivating. I liked the new moves. The last move, the surfer pose, I need to work on. The ab work was great too. So different from the other ab routines. I liked the standing work and the floor work was a bit different too. I think my abs and legs will be sore tomorrow.

I am hoping to do the UBC workout tomorrow. DH and I have a date night/shopping night set for tomorrow, but maybe I can get it in beforehand.

Belinda- you like that comment about the calgon commercial, huh? I thought I was going to pull my hair out, lol.

Wendy- the UBC doesn't look as deadly as the plyo hiit. I am scared of the plyo hiit dvd, lol. That'll probably be the last one I try out before starting the rotation.

Cookie- So Commish King is moving on to greener pastures. Some of my colleagues were happy that he'll be out of NY, but I think this is terrible. He is being promoted to the national level?!?!? WTH?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: SOOOOO wrong on so many levels. It makes me sick and mad!

Deb- How are you feeling? Rest up so that you are better for Christmas!

Kristin

Hi,

I'm feeling better my sore throat is gone it didn't really turn in to a cold TG, just some sneezing. I think the hot water w/lemon, honey & ginger helped at least I like to think that was it:) So my boss was so nice she happened to call me after a very stressful moment and was so supportive and nice! I tried to hide it but she can just pick up on things.

I didn't workout, I have been getting home too late. I'm counting the days until Christmas! Tomorrow we are getting our tree.

Belinda - It's good that you have your DD to keep you company when DH is away. You have been doing great with your workouts.

Kristin - I think it is the time of year everyone is effected kids & dogs included LOL. I hear you on the Calgon commercial! 2 hours of waiting:eek:

Wendy - That's a tough deadline.

Cookie - I didn't get to stay home but felt like new today. I'm so jealous that everyone is trying the new workouts, everyday I think if I get home early I will open the package but it hasn't happened yet:oops:

Amelia - How are you doing?

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Belinda, I wonder if your dd's sense of balance is off due to the cold/mess? Nice that she can come stay with you.
Amelia, hope all is well.
Jessica, I also liked the Calgon moment. If only they could magically transport us. I predicted it a 1.5 ago to a group, and was really laughed at over it. So, if nothing else, I feel vindicated. Just wondering what's next. I'm also dreading the ploy hiit, but probably more like all the non-weight ones!
Wendy, now that's a workout, getting everything ready over a month early. Why would they move the date up? Hope you can squeeze in some relaxing, yoga-type of workouts.
Deb, glad you are feeling better. A sensitive boss? I thought that was an oxymorism! Now that's something to be really thankful for, and I'm glad you have such a person. It's hard to believe it's two weeks to Christmas Eve.
Going to do a kickbox, either mma or round out, workout. Yesterday did a virtual active northern Rockies run - so much for following a rotation, and then a ton of walking during the day. Got in over 10 miles!
Cookie

Good morning,

I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday. I was cleaning my pantry out, all the sudden I felt a sharp pain in my back, WTH? I didn't do Xtrain legs yesterday, but I did all my other workouts plus added another lower body barre workout (outer glutes). Today's plan is SBF Cardio Barre =35 min and Lower Body w/ball = 15 min. I also will do Jessica's stretch for today. I will skip Hard Strike for today, can't do all those jumping jacks with my back today.

Cookie - could be? Aleisa is feeling much better today. Aleisa is a sweety:D We having a lot of fun.
At leas you workout, right? Doesn't matter what you do:p

Debbie - I am glad you feeling much better. Aww…that is so nice of your boss.

Kirstin - glad you like Low Impact Hiit 1. Yeah, your comment was really cute:)

Wendy - yeah, on your workouts:) I totally agree with your on the eating. Doesn't matter how much you workout, if you don't have your eating under control, you can workout until the cows come home.

I will be back after my workouts.

Good evening,

I did SBF Cardio Barre =35 min and Lower Body w/ball = 15 min. I also did 21 Day Fix Yoga = 30 min and Jessica Smith Short and Sweet stretch = 15 min. I hope to get a weight workout in tomorrow. We shall see?

Good night, ladies.

Upper body circuit done! This will be one of my favorites, I just know it. It's fast-past, gets the shoulders really good and burns the bis big time. I could have gone heavier for back. I used 15# instead if 20 thinking the pace was too fast, but afterwards I felt I could've kept up with a heavier weight. Next time ;)

DH and I are going out to dinner and shopping tonight. Hoping it'll be fun.

Cookie- now King will oversee PARCC and cut the scores so everyone fails, lol.

Belinda- you are superwoman with all your workouts! Take it easy with that back.

BB tomorrow

Kristin

Hi,

I spoke too soon I do have a cold and feel run down. We went for a tree tonight our house smells amazing. I'm going to take it easy but have tons of things to do this weekendo_O

Belinda - Take it easy or otherwise you will end up in bed before Christmas (right about now that doesn't sound bad).

Kristin - Happy Shopping!! Seems like their are so many sales this year. I do a little bit of Men's work and they are marking things down low because sales are down for pj's.

Cookie - Wow that is a lot of miles!!

Waves hi to everyone

Goodnight:)

Good morning Heidi and Sherry,

I already did Jessica Smith LB Barre = 15 min. Getting ready to do SBF Christmas Express Stretch = 12 min. I also will do some cardio later, not sure what yet?

Debbie - I hope not:D I am taking it easy. Doing low impact stuff, nothing to crazy. Hope you feel better soon. My husband came home with a cold too. I hope I am not catching it. Did you get the flue shot this year?

Kirstin - no, I am not a superwomen:p Glad you had fun with your UB workout yesterday. A lot of people on VF complaint about the pace in that one? Nothing wrong going lighter than Cathe. Better be safe than sorry, right?:) Hope you had fun last night.

I will be back later today. Have a great day and weekend.

Hey girls,

I am also done with SBF Christmas UB (that one was tough) = 15 min + Christmas Stretch = 15 min.

Have a great Saturday.

Hey everyone. Not much luck shopping last night. I think I will be ordering a lot online. I did manage to get my younger DS some presents, and one gift for my parents. Still have a lot to do. Today I tried out RWH Plyo Hiit 2 (step) and bonus abs 2. Both fabulous workouts. PLyo Hiit 2 wasn't as grueling as I thought it would be. It was fun, really fun. I like Plyo moves on the step better than floor. I am dreading Plyo Hiit 1, lol. I previewed it and it is scary. . . I don't think I am attempting the one arm burpees anytime soon, lol.

Deb- I missed you yesterday, sorry. The two hour wait was so awful. I hope you are feeling better! Rest up!

Belinda- the pace is fast in UBC, but that is what makes the workout go by fast too, right? It will take a few attempts to get it done right for me, but I think it's worth it. New moves in this one and fun too.

I'm thinking of heading out to shop. I am sure it will be craziness. Ugh!

Kristin

'Morning!
Belinda, I'm with the others in hoping you take it easy. However, your definition of easy and mine seems different! I would do stretching or yoga, not an upper body workout!
Amelia, miss you.
Jessica, I forgot he probably needs to get confirmation from the Senate. He must feel sure that will happen but not much seems to be a given w/Congress these days. Enjoy your date w/dh. I went to the mall last evening, and it was really crowded and the parking lot very icy. I did the rwh chest, triceps and shoulders one the other day, and I think you'll like it. going to do the back, biceps, and ? one in a few minutes.
Wendy, how are you feeling? Is the finger workout going well? Be careful you don't strain them from over use.
Deb, oh no, hope you rest today. Did you get Cathe's new series?
Doing rwh back, biceps and ? in a few minutes, and still want to get in steps for my daily 10K. Yesterday was - I can't remember and am too lazy to go look it up. Managed to get in a lot of steps again, and just under 10 miles yesterday. Have a hockey game this evening, and hoping dh wants to do a bit of shopping before hand.
Cookie

Hi,

I made some chicken soup today. It probably took me most of the day to finish up a photo book for DH & hopefully it gets here by Christmas. I also went food shopping so I can start my sauce tomorrow. I'm hoping to get a workout in tomorrow:)

Belinda - I didn't get the flu shot, how about you? It seems like you are surrounded by germs;) I hope you weren't in DC today so many demonstrations going on.

Krsitin - At the roadtrip I lowered my weights for UB because of the pace & it worked out. I alot more on-line shopping this year & used ebates.

Cookie - I did get the new series just haven't had the chance to open it yet:) My fitbit went crazy today I woke up with 11,000 steps LOL.

Waves hi to everyone

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

I didn't get my weight workout in yesterday, I will do it today and SBF Christmas Stretch = 35 min

Cookie - I am taking it easy, I promise! DH won't let me do anything crazy. My back is doing better, not 100% ….but better. I will stay away from heavy wo. WOW, on your steps! You are doing better than I am:) How did you like rwh back, biceps and ?

Debbie - I didn't get the flu shot yet? Need to get it soon. DC have a lot of demonstrations lately, if we can avoid it we don't drive into DC. Hope the chicken soup helps. What a great gift for your DH:D Yesterday I went grocery shopping. I went to my freezer and pantry, threw out 3 bags of food. Now I only buy what I need for a week, that's it. No more, extra and than forget about it.

Waving Hi to everyone that checks in after me:D

Have a great Sunday, everyone. BBL!

'Morning!
Belinda, I'm so glad your dh takes such good care of you. It is a shame how food gets wasted when there are so many hungry people. Good for you.
Kristin, hope you had a fantastic time last night. I previewed the first low impact rwh, and that must have it everything good. Any doms? My triceps were talking to me for days after that one. Good thing you mentioned previewing and glad I did. I get dizzy doing those changes in plane movements, up/down quickly, so I'll save the first low impact rwh for a weekend.
Deb, hope the chicken soup helped. Great gift idea for dh. I'm still trying to figure out what to get mine. We usually do a family calendar.
Yesterday did the rwh back, biceps, shoulders wo, and those finishers get you good. Also did rebounder while previewing the low impact 1. Groceries, dog walks, cooking, and some office walk on the agenda for today.
Cookie

Cookie - most of the food I had when my kids lived at home, stuff I don't eat. I do agree, it's a shame how food gets wasted. Unfortunately I can't sent it to the hungry people:( wished I could:D Once the kids moved out, I shopped like the lived at home, now I buy only what I need. Plus, DH and I eat differently too. Aleisa took some of the food, so I don't waste so much:D For some reason, some off the food in the freezer had freezer burn? Can't eat that, right? If food expired past the expiration date, it's gone:D Good job yesterday.
