Good Morning Ladies:)

I am surprised that Belinda hasn't started this already, she must be busy!

I am feeling a bit better today, flu wise. Im not as stuffed up and the aches are gone:) Hopefully in a couple of days I will be a brand new person:)

Im going to get a short workout in before work. Im thinking of mixing a run in with DM. I haven't done that one in a while. Geez....the baby just made a noise on the monitor that scared the crap out of me! I hope he isn't waking up!!!!!!

Good Morning

My WI today went ok, Im down .7 since last tuesday. I was expecting a bigger lost though since I haven't lost any real weight in about three weeks. Oh well...I will take it! I could still be the same as last week;)

OMG,i had an awful day yesterday! First I couldn't log on my schools website due too technical difficulties. Then once i called and got that straightened out i had trouble opening up my course materials(books that i need to get my answers from) Still can't open them up....i don't have microsoft word I have microsoft word ' works' and apparently there not the same thing:mad: Im trying to download the free trial version of word before the end of the day today so i can get my assignments in before midnight tonight. I tried downloading it yesterday,twice but there were problems the first time then the second time I ended up with microsoft accounting professional:confused: not sure how that happened? On top of all that crap my kids were acting TERRIBLE yesterday,just fighting and caring on and my son(whos still potty training) had diarrhea...bless his heart,he tried to make it to the potty.And he was coughing up a storm. I was such a nervous wreck yesterday that by the end of the day i was crying:(. But I felt better afterwards and I was SO RELIEVED to see my DH get home around 6:30.

oh well,today is another day:D and I get to have my cheat meal:D and I get to workout like a crazy nut:D Im thinking cardio and weights:D I need to hear buttercup;)

Good Morning all!! Today is weigh in day!! I am concerned, I did my reports on MFP and my exercise and eating have been good but the scale at home (this off from the one at WW) is not looking good- about the same. Arrggghhh!!!! I have workout like a mad woman. Now I regret slacking yesterday. :[

Today I did BS (on my new step bench!!) and I did Tae Bo Total Basic 3. I used my new 1# weighted gloves, they really up the cardio!! Tonight will be a walk on the treadmill. Probably onlty 2-2.5 miles as my ankle is still tender and I do not want to over do it.

Lori- Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Workiing out must give you a ton of energy b/c you are like the Energizer bunny you keep going and going and....

Amelia- How was school yesterday? Hope it was not as dreadful as you thought. Also, how was the weigh in. I am sure you did well. You have accomplished much, very inspiring.

Cookie- Glad to hear MFP is really helping you. I really like it now that I have switched from SP. I just think the amount of calories for exercise is always accurate, but then again, I TRY not to eat my exercise points.

Belinda- Hope all the stuff got to you in good shape. Now you have to unpack. Two things I hate, packing and unpacking. What's your workout for today.

Amelia, we just missed one another. Congrats on the loss- remember the ounces and pounds add up. Look at where you are now compared to one or two years ago. Be proud of yoursellf. I hope today is a better day for you!! :)

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, but I had nothing to report. I took a rest day. Little Ms. Heidi didn't sleep well and neither did my DH and I, so I ended up taking a nap when she did. It felt good. :p

Today will be GS Legs. My legs are finally getting less sore, so this will be good.

Lori - Sending you healing vibes, sorry to hear that you are sick. How is your little guy. I looked at your new pictures yesterday and you are beautiful!

Amelia - Oh my, sounds like you had a terrible day yesterday ((((hugs)))). But like you said today is a new day and I am sure some Buttercup is going to help a lot, hehe.

Kim - Sorry to about you ankle, what happened. I am still anxiously awaiting the part for my TM, so I can get it fixed and finally get back on it.

Hey Girls!

Ive been kept busy all morning...which is nice in the day time...not so nice in the night time;) But I only have this one day shift and then I am off until Fri night:p Yippee!!!
Boy is my back and belly ever bad! I even counted the days since my period and its only 18, so I would highly doubt that I would have symptoms of being pregnant already! I got on the scale today and would you beleive that the stupid scale is up 3 lbs since last Fri! How is that even possible? But I am pretty bloated so Im sure its just water weight. I need to get a few good runs in and the weight should vanish:confused:

My workout today ended up being a 2.5 mile run and DM weights. It was a pretty good workout. I was hoping to fit a little more in but before I knew it it was a little after 6 and I like to be in the shower by 7.

Ameila** I hate those kinds of days and I have had lots of them. DS really tested me today when he woke up. He was sooo pleasant until I sat him down to change him ,then he competelt freaked out. It was like he was out of control or something. He kept throwing himself backwards and doing all kinds of weird stuff. I had to get mad at him twice and he finally stopped it. I tell ya, when he acts like that it makes going to work alot easier:eek::) Hopefully today will be better for you! Good job with the weightloss! Imagine how much you could lose by christmas if you lost .7 every week? I know it doesn't seem like much but when you add it up over time, it will.

Kim** Good luck tonight with your weigh in! Let us know how it goes!

Krisitine** I haven't seen or heard from you in forever!:confused: What is Heidi doing these days? Rylan is just starting to say a few things " whats that, what is it?, hi,hey,mom,dad,nan,dog,please,sorry,all gone,all done.." Of course not all of the words are real clear but we can pick them out;):) And he doesn't stop, not for 2 seconds! He is flat out all day long! How have your workouts been going? I completed two races this summer and have another one of the 19th of Oct, Im currently training for that now.

I guess I should get some lunch. I was hungry but in the meantime I feel awfully bloated!:( I know my pants are going to feel even tighter after I eat!

Hope you're all doing swell :cool: I haven't been feeling myself lately, so I've kind of been lingering around the check-in, but too lazy to ACTUALLY check in...You're probably wondering what kind of drugs I'm doing...and no, you can't have any!!:p:eek:

Well, workouts slipped a bit over the weekend, but I'm back on the horse and did B&G yesterday (serious DOMs going on over here) and a little rhythmic step today. It was my first time doing it and I really liked it, but my energy just wasn't up to par. So, about half-way through I switched to Stretch Max2 which felt great. I may give RS a try tomorrow.

Lori - sounds like you had a good workout today. I've been meaning to ask you..do you ever have trouble with your knees from all that running? I wish I could run, but I think my knees would just explode on me.:confused: The rotation I'm doing now has cardio 3 x week, an intense LB and full body workouts. By the end of last week, my knees were toast. If I ever get to the point where I could run/jog, it will be a huge achievement!

Amelia - So sorry to hear your day was so lousy yesterday. I hope Buttercup made up for it:) and that cheat meal;) Were you ever able to get MS Word installed?

Kim - I've been thinking about getting weighted gloves...so you really noticed a difference? Hhhmm...I think I might treat myself next month. Great job on BS and Tae Bo:D

Kristine - How did GS Legs go for you? That is definitely a favorite of mine. Do you have B&G? Another fav...no matter how many times I do that workout, I get serious DOMs, AND always great results;)

Trish** I know what its like to "linger" sometimes. I love checking in in the mornings but as the day goes on, I will keep comming back, read everything but won't post! LOL:p Sometimes I do have problems with my right knee. When I use to run alone, I would run about 10K a day and never had many problems b/c I would always do step in the winter time, so my knees had a good break. Then I started running with a partner and we use to do 14k everyday and thats when my trouble began. Plus,DH gave me a TM one year for christmas and I could run year round. I think the year off when I was pregnant was really what my body needed. Even though I run tons now, I don't have many problems. Every once in a while my right knee will feel "weak" but it doesn't hurt. I also take stuff for my joints so Im sure that helps out.

Lori - We are doing great! Yes, Heidi is talking up a storm, can't even count anymore how many words she is saying and she is bilingual as well, so some words are English and some are German, it is too cute. I started to slowly potty train her, so that has been rather interesting.
Ok, so reading your post again......Are you guys trying to get pregnant again????? We just started trying again for #2.

Trish - Yes, GS Legs is a great workout and such a toughie, I never can do both sets of the calf raises or I won't be walking for 2 days :p. Yes, I have B&G as well and I love it!! RS is such a fun workout. I hope you get to do it all the way through soon.
 
I gained ... ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

I was uo 2.6 lbs. I must confess, after I got home I indulged in some emotional eating- not real bad, but definitely a habit I MUST break. I had about 10 tortilla chips, then I ate my dinner Salmon, Immunity boost veggies and mashed potatoes, and water. I am so frustrated. The I turned on TBL and saw they were saying after a big loss you soemtimes plateau or gain. I have been working out like a mad woman (at least compared to what I had been doing- I doubled my workouts!!!) To top things off my TTOM finally came today. Not sure if that is why the gain or what. I have stayed w/in points and calorioes except on day during the weekend and even it was not way over. I try not to eat my exercise points. What gives......

anyway, thanks for listening to my rant.

Kristine- Hope you get the part for your TM soon. I love mine, walking just really helps slim me. I may try to run, but I am top heavy too so... not fun to run. Tee, hee I made a rhyme.

Trish- Glad to see you came out of lurkdom. :) Good idea on the RS. I have had it for some time but could not do it with my old step b/c the lowest height was too high. I will try that on Thursday maybe with the new step.

Lori- Sorry to hear about your gain too. I am sure it is just bloating. Hope your night is good!

Kim, a new step! Don't you love getting new equipment? I find it really motivates me. Plus, I'm such a dork I get excited by my new toy(s). Glad you're able to walk with your ankle, but please be careful with step workouts. I am definitely an emotional eater. Yep, nothing beats the aggravation of a teenage son like a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips, or so I thought. Good for you for realizing what you were doing and why. Good job stopping at ten. How was TBL?

Amelia, congrats on the continued downward movement. Way to go. I know I like the nice round numbers before a decimal also, but as everyone else said, it does all add up. I hate computer problems. Hope you got it straightenedout. Buttercup was a great idea.

Lori, glad you're feeling better. Who else would be doing a run with DM while having the flu? How do you do it?

Kristine, isn't it amazing how fast the little ones grow and learn things? It seemed the days were long but the years were short when mine were young. Hope you get a good night's sleep.

Did LIS and abs from KPC today. Had to make up the abs since I ran out of time yesterday. Am all set up for B&G in the morning, so hope I wake up in time. It's a long one.

Cookie, trust a believe even though I stopped at 10- I was trying to figure out what else I could get into!!! Then I just fixed dinner. I am fighting the feeling and don't want to sabatoge my efforts. I know that the gain is just bloating- nonetheless it is FRUSTRATING!!

TBL had many surpises. Still on now. Low weight losses this week.

I had to get the new step. I am choreography challenged. I was using a Reebok step. The lowest level on that is 6". I can do BS on that pretty easy, but as the choreo gets more complicated, I needed a 4", so I finally borke down and go a step like Cathe uses w/4" topper and added risers. Made a big difference and after doing BS this morning, I do not have the dread factor of doing another step workout.
