Finally checking in!
Belinda, thank you, thank you, thank you! As our economy is struggling, I appreciate you doing your patriotic duty with shopping. Two days in a row! I'm proud. That must be why the market here finally closed up. Only kidding. I can't imagine how confused your poor dogs must have been! I know you've missed your family, two-legged and four-legged members. You and your daughter are so close, it must be heavenly to have her with you now. Enjoy.
Cheryl, congrats! Was it a lot of paperwork to secure the guardianship? I only ask since I'm in the process of readopting my daughter. There was an error made by the US gov't in issuing her visa, and it has been a huge hurdle in obtaining the paperwork to get her passport, so we're readopting. The paperwork is enough to make my head spin, especially since I thought we were done with it all.
Kristine, boy your daughter must take getting her teeth a lot calmer than my boys. They all wanted me to share in their pain! Perhaps it is a chromosonal thing. I seldom get a workout done in the evening, so I have to do it first thing. No, actually I prefer to do it, not that I have to. It is just that if I don't get it in after a couple days of not doing anything, I tend to let stress get to me. Hope you got your workout in and had a great day.
Kim, the workout sounds good. Glad you enjoyed it. Did you post on OD? I workout in the a.m., as I mentioned to Kristine in the post above. The good thing is it's over and done and I feel so accomplished. Often it is the only thing I can ever saw really did get accomplished, since meetings don't provide that sense of satisfaction. The other nice side benefit is I can check my form in the window easily since it is so dark outside. I put the workouts I've planned into my planner, and then I have it in front of me everytime I look at it during the day. So if I didn't get to it, there it is reminding me and bugging me over and over. I'm reading this book called Spark about the connection between exercise and the brain. Highly recommend it!
Aunt Lori, congrats! So what is the little guy's name? Is this your first time as an Aunt? Your opening paragraph and then the discussion about the baby's birth, reminded me of the expression the Circle of Life.
Amelia, how's the juggling of work and home going along? I'm not doing a good job today. My blender broke, and last month the food processor went. Guess I need to get married again so I can get new appliances. Towels, I could use new towels too. Heck, maybe I'll start a list and ask someone to give me a Still With Him shower. Anyway, had to revamp dinner plans, and today was a frustrating day at work. Since I did KM this morning, tho I didn't have to kick anyone.
Trish, I'm going to have to check that dvd out. I can't remember the last time I did that one. Seem to be stuck on the same few lately.
Sleep well.
