Good morning girls,

Today I will try to do cardio and upper body! Hope I will get it all in today! I still have a lot of work to do around the house, it is still not the way I like it:mad:
I don't like how my DH set up MY workout room, I am afraid when I do my stepping/cardio I will drip over my weights:rolleyes: DH need to move the squat rack around to make more room for me!:p

Need to get moving! BBL!

I hope your able to get everything moved the way you want it...may we see a pic of your workout room when its done?

Kim-Its 5:53 here in GA,so I imagine your sweating bullets by now(or your fixin too)! your doing so well...

Kristine-Thank you! Im actually astonish at how big I use to be,I had no idea I was that heavy? I hope your DD is better today! Weve been fighting colds now for two weeks:mad: all day long its breathing treaments and cough and cold medicine!Great job on your workout

Lori-How was your run yesterday? How was the energy stuff? Did it give you more?

Iris-I love FF rotations...she definately knows her stuff! Great workout planned! Who's getting married?

Today is a run interval with a short walk at the end to make it 45mins! Yesterdays C&W was AWESOME...i was sweating bullets! ok,have a good day everyone!:)

Good Morning Ladies,

As you can tell, I am late. I slept in this morning. I did two miles on the TM last night and my ankle is still tender. Today was all cardio, I was going to do 3 miles on TM this morning and then do a RS or kickboxing this evening. I plan to wrap the ankle w/an Ace bandage and I think low impact kb will be my best bet since I injured it on the treadmill and I don't want to miss the step if I do RS. That would NOT be good!! I have not energy and feel all bloated. I love being a girl... but some days.

Trish!!!!! I have been wanting to get the materials to study for the ACE exam. I don't necessarily want to b/c a trainer. I want the knowledge; figure it will really kick my butt in gear to get and stay healthy and figure if I get the certification and train maybe one or two people per year, I can still write off my workout room, equipment and MANY dvds each tax year. The thing is, I am an attorney, went through law school, undergrad in business and I thin that somehow, for some reason, I am intimidated. I have been "talking about" studying and taking the test for years; at least 3 now. I just need to order the books, jump in and do, but SOMETHING keeps me from doing just that. I have no idea what it may be.

Cookie- Great job on B&G yesterday!! I agree if I do not get up first thing and workout, I will not get it done. My second wo usually depends on me doing the first, but since I have regularly added the second, I am getting better about that. To answer your question about Jari, I love her workouts. I don't particulary like how she talks about burning carbs, etc. BUT, the workouts are extremely effective. Nice change from heavy weights, I sweat like a bottle of frozen water in 110 degree heat!!!

Amelia- I was not up at that time today. I was lying in bed listening to the news. See above- my ankle still is giving me a little problem. I am good as long as I don't wear heels or power walk. I was fine when I did BS the other day (luckily I did not miss the step) and kickboxing.

Lori- Where are you?? Did DS let you sleep in today?

Belinda- Kudos on the 85#. I would love a squat rack, but I am running out of room in my basement. Trying to figure out where I can hang a heavy bag! Have a good cardio/UB day today! Don't doo too much by re-arranging all that furniture!

Hi Everybody!

Just a quick checkin before I start my workday. I did MM UB with GSLegs Floor work-- it was a nice combination. I upped the weights for one arm rows to 17.5 so that felt nice. We'll see if I have any DOMs tomorrow.

Mornin' Belinda - I had to rearrange my room twice before I found the best configuration for me. I still have issues with a few things and have to push the bench out of the way for certain exercises. I wish I had enough room to do my cardio in there - still have to go into the family room for that. Enjoy your cardio and UB wo today!

Amelia - Great job on CW!! I haven't done that one in a while. I only have the FitTV version tivo'd so I think it's missing a couple for segments, but it is still a great wo. Enjoy your run and walk wo today.

I don't know if I told you all that we were renovating our 2nd fl bathroom...Well, the project started back in June and I have been w/o a toilet upstairs until yesterday!! It might sound a little silly, but once you're used to having a toilet around the corner and then you have to run downstairs in your sleep for 3.5 months, you really start to miss it:confused:. But, the BR is almost complete and the toilet went in yesterday...I was in heaven this morning when I rolled out of bed and sauntered to my new TOILET:p!!

Ok, that might have been a little TMI:eek: Will be back later to chat.
 
Good morning ladies,

Got a little bit better sleep last night. Ms. Heidi got some medicine last night and I finally got her a new sleepsack, so she was nice and cozy and slept good. She is still stuffy but doing ok.

Best news of all, DH and I fixed the TM yesterday, so guess what my workout is going to be, woohoo, I am so excited!!!!! :D

Belinda - Oh no, I guess DH was thinking about your step at all. I know my DH never does when he starts suggesting to move the living room around, hehe.

Kim - Sorry to hear that you ankle is still sore. Looks like you still got a nice workout in though. Just take it easy.

Amelia - Breathing treatments, that doesn't sounds like fun. I sure hope that everyone will get well soon.

Hey Girls!

I went to check in earlier but I think the phone rang or something happened.Plus I wanted to get out early for my run. I am sooo sleepy in the mornings! Normally I hop out of bed and put the coffee on but today I crawled back in, hoping that DS would go back to sleep:D Meanwhile, it was 7 o'clock, not that early!

Yesterdays run was o.k but it was cold and wet! It started to rain shortly after I left the house. PLUS I remembered that I forgot to take the turkey out of the oven:confused: So I only ran for about 40 mins. Todays run was alot longer though, felt like I was gone forever!

Belinda** Hope you get a good workout in today! And I hope you soon get your house in order.

Ameila** No, I dont think the pills gave me anymore energy. He suggested I take 2 now, try 4 the next time and then take 4 on the day of my race. I think alot of that stuff is just mind game stuff. I did cover my route in less time though.

Kristine** Yeah, on the TM getting fixed! Don't wear it out now!

Kim** Sorry to hear your ankle is sore. Hopefully there isn't much to it!

Trish** Na, you don't sound silly! I would feel the same way. Sometimes when things like that irritate me I don't even repeat it b/c I figure people will think Im nuts to!:eek:

I was planning on having a little nap after lunch but I don't feel tired...just lazy. When DS has his nap I am going to pack away my summers clothes. Then when he wakes we need to go to the bank and walmart.

Sounds like everyone has been pretty busy today.

Trish, congrats on the improvement in the facilities. Do you get frustrated with the renovation? I don't do well with them. The disorder they create really aggravates me. I had to wash dishes in the bathtub once! Not for me. How's the rotation coming along? What are you going to do next since this one ends soon? I'm one day behind you.

Belinda, you'll get plenty of UB doing your work around the house. Did you also do cardio? How is your sister doing?

Kristine, glad your daughter is feeling better, and yeah on the treadmill. You sure seem like a patient person to have waited on that. So how was it?

Amelia, glad you had a good wo with CW. How did the run intervals go? Your story is so inspiring. You should send it in to a few magazines and see if it can get published.

Lori, could the sleepiness be related to the flu? You still managed to get a run in! Boy, do you ever take a day off?

Kim, I know what you mean about wanting the information. I've thought about it for that reason also, but then worry if I could be a worthy enough role model for anyone. I mean, you know how I am about sour cream and onion potato chips and cinnamon coffee cake! Perhaps you should rest your ankle for a few more days. Do you have any UB weight workouts or yoga?

Iris, miss hearing from you. Are you still out dancing or something?

Cheryl, sorry to have missed your birthday. I just saw the thread this evening. Hope it was a wonderful one, and that this will be a fantastic, healthy, and happy year for you.

Did LowMax this morning after not sleeping well again. Up since 2:30! I'm going to take a Tylenol to see if that will help tonight.
