Good Morning Ladies,
As you can tell, I am late. I slept in this morning. I did two miles on the TM last night and my ankle is still tender. Today was all cardio, I was going to do 3 miles on TM this morning and then do a RS or kickboxing this evening. I plan to wrap the ankle w/an Ace bandage and I think low impact kb will be my best bet since I injured it on the treadmill and I don't want to miss the step if I do RS. That would NOT be good!! I have not energy and feel all bloated. I love being a girl... but some days.
Trish!!!!! I have been wanting to get the materials to study for the ACE exam. I don't necessarily want to b/c a trainer. I want the knowledge; figure it will really kick my butt in gear to get and stay healthy and figure if I get the certification and train maybe one or two people per year, I can still write off my workout room, equipment and MANY dvds each tax year. The thing is, I am an attorney, went through law school, undergrad in business and I thin that somehow, for some reason, I am intimidated. I have been "talking about" studying and taking the test for years; at least 3 now. I just need to order the books, jump in and do, but SOMETHING keeps me from doing just that. I have no idea what it may be.
Cookie- Great job on B&G yesterday!! I agree if I do not get up first thing and workout, I will not get it done. My second wo usually depends on me doing the first, but since I have regularly added the second, I am getting better about that. To answer your question about Jari, I love her workouts. I don't particulary like how she talks about burning carbs, etc. BUT, the workouts are extremely effective. Nice change from heavy weights, I sweat like a bottle of frozen water in 110 degree heat!!!
Amelia- I was not up at that time today. I was lying in bed listening to the news. See above- my ankle still is giving me a little problem. I am good as long as I don't wear heels or power walk. I was fine when I did BS the other day (luckily I did not miss the step) and kickboxing.
Lori- Where are you?? Did DS let you sleep in today?
Belinda- Kudos on the 85#. I would love a squat rack, but I am running out of room in my basement. Trying to figure out where I can hang a heavy bag! Have a good cardio/UB day today! Don't doo too much by re-arranging all that furniture!
