I hit the snooze a few too many times! I am going for another quick and dirty cardio this morning -- 4DS KBX. Check back in a few!!
 
Katie, I hope KB went well.

DDs are up early and happy this AM so I made pancakes to treat 'em! I wanted to go out for them but decided to make them instead - a whole lot cleaner I'm sure! Had a glass of oj w/ it. Boy, do I miss produce!;( And cereal - the milk makes me gag.

My scale is higher than ever and I am so bummed. I have gained nearly 10 pounds!!!:eek: Not much else to say. Yuck.

I hope everybody has a good day.
 
Kate, in a few weeks you will get back to workouts and the weight gain will slow. You are growing a big baby boy in there -- a linebacker, remember??

KBX was good -- I even backed it up and did my favorite part (jab-cross-reach-pull) twice, so about 35 minutes. I want to lift tomorrow!
 
OOH! I love the jab-cross, etc part. Makes me feel like super woman. Or if a robber came in I could totally kick his ---!!!
 
Yes lets get that robber, we have enough gym equipment to kill him.

Kate don't worry too much about the weight gain, I agree with Katie your body is getting adjusted. In your 2nd tri. you will be able to lift again and your weight will normal.

I have DOMS in my shoulders, tri and chest so today I did GS Legs. Hey I might as well balance out the DOMS.

Last light I went out to dinner and ate shrimp and salad, which is the good part. Then I blew it and had chocolate cake for dessert

:-( WHY did I do that? x(

Anyway today I'm going to start writing what I eat in my journal (again). The food log that I was using had no room for cheat snacks.
The jounal I'm using now has just lines and I'll write down everything.

post w/o: protein bar
b-oatmeal (but I'm not really hungry)
s-nuts
l-BBQ chicken and salad
s-??
d-tuna whole grain noodle combo

I did 45 Degree Plate Slide Ins this morning just to see if they are easier than pike on the ball. Yes they are easier!

I can't wait for the STS!:eek:

Thanks, girls, for the ## encouragement. I feel like such a fat pregnant failure though. With Isabel I LOST about 10 lbs. the 1st tri, now I GAINED it! And I am so much more fit than I was then! Oh well, I guess. I did WO 2 days in a row so far - hopefully the trend continues.

Robin, the journal sounds great. Don't ya hate when you ate super good then you blow it!? Sorry! That legs w/o you did will help burn it off! yes, those blog pics are great!!

Kate, you're having a baby!! dont be too hard on yourself right now, once things settle, you'll be right back on track. You're body is just adjusting! I can gain 10 lbs on a weekned :)

Kate, have you tried almond or rice milk? I find the taste so mild, it might be okay on your tummy instead of milk?

Steph, Our AM started off chilly, but the sun is out and its beautiful. Isabel & I did errands this AM and skipped in and out of every store singing about bumblebees! Thanks for the encouragement on the weight. Hope it goes good w/ Arnold tonight. Cardio on tap? Impress him w/ your pullups again! Skipping oatmeal again? I've never tried other types of milk - afraid of the taste I guess. Maybe its time too. I miss my morning bowl of cereal and fruit.

YES, I got him with the sprayer!! He came home and told me that he bought a new truck -- which got me, so now we are even!!

We had a nice walk outside, tidy dinner after. We have bible study tonight but I want to go to bed!!! My nap wasn't long enough today. Better go get ready.

Good for you on the walk and dinner Kate!! Don't you just love naps -- a short nap is always better than no nap!!

Well, confession time -- I ate ice cream, AGAIN! But lemme tell ya, it will NOT happen again anytime soon. I felt AWFUL and so full and bloated. I need to get my crap together and eat better!

I did go to GNC today and get the multivitamin -- will start tomorrow at breakfast. Everyone says that it really helps with energy -- I sure hope so!! I will also call the doctor's office about my blood work (they haven't called me yet).

Hi Everyone,

Busy day dealing with issues. I think everything is resolved so tomorrow should be calmer. I didn't sleep well last night and I am tired now. We had a big party and happy hour and I did not eat well at either.

Kate, don't worry about the weight gain. I think your weight will stabilize in the second trimester.
Katie, I hate the snooze button sometimes. It is just too easy to hit that button.
Robin, mm chocolate cake. Sorry you blew it last night - hope today was extra clean.
Steph, we had a taste of Spring yesterday and now it is cooler today. Yesterday was too warm too quick so it was hard to get motivated to do anything.

Anyway w/o was Imax. I agree it was easy and hard.

I need to get some relax time in before tomorrow. Have a great evening!

HI ladies,

Shelby still had a fever today. She went to the drs. and was given an antibiotic. She tested negative for strep. Her dr. told her she is a medical mystery, which she finds so funny.

Robin you ate choc cake cause its yummy. :7 And yes I'm loving the blog pics.

Colleen hope your issues were resolved.
Kate I'm sure once this baby is born all the weight will disappear.
Steph we had a spring like day too yesterday and now I want more.
