Hey Robin, I am up!!

I was EXHAUSTED last night, crashed early. Eats were about 50% clean.

WO this morning was Low Max using a 5# med ball during the blasts, then leg drills from Kick Max. Low Max like that was definitely different -- you don't realize how much of your energy goes into your arm movements until you take them out. Holding that med ball really forced me to focus on getting low. Also, since I wasn't able to use my arms for balance, I really had to squeeze my muscles.

I have court this afternoon, so hopefully the walk will help me get some lactic acid out of my muscles. I may do some core tonight once I'm home.

Since I worked late last night, I am leaving early today (hopefully right after court). I promised Collin that if he was good today, we could go for ice cream when I pick him up early.

That's a great idea to do the blasts with a medicine ball Katie. I may try that this saturday.

Katie, sounds like you were wiped last night, that's okay, you needed the rest. I find lomax just a bit too long, but i like the med ball idea, i know Colleen tried that too, and said it was killer.

Kate, sounds like you're having a good time, you'll be really stretched out if you do CS everyday!

Last night i did stepbox, jillian circuit, abs from KPC and some leg drills from KM, tonight, PUB/Barr
Christian is playing a show tonight, so i'll be in bed late, my lower back is really bugging me, so tomorrow, i may lay off the intensity and spin for cardio to take it a bit easier.

Robin, I was SLEEPING!!! when you first posted. I had the best night's sleep I've had in over a week. And it was on the hotel couch! I was so tired last night! Your WO sounds nice - sometimes a good walk is better for me than a hard-core step session.

Katie, Awesome job on the WO! Sounds liek a great challenge! Hope the work day goes by fast - and rnjoy that ice cream with Collin! We went to ColdStone on Sunday (I got a kids size...((pats self on back)) ) and I thought of you! What are your fave kind of pickles?

Stephnaie, I always break LowMax up - too long for me too! Do you have a bike for spinning at home? Have fun tongiht at the show. How long did you WO last night, woman!!!!??? Oh my word! I wish I had your energy!

We'll head out for breakfast soon. Will fit in some CS today and another walk. Instead of a dvd last night I took DDs on a long walk down the beach. We were playing this follow-the-leader game that we always play every year on our beach walks (doing silly arm movements, jumping, etc) and 2 ladies shouted from their chairs (now THAT"S a healthy pregnancy!" Made me feel so good! I'm hoping to go canoeing today - we'll see if the fam agrees.

Good morning,

Well, yesterday was a good day and I finally feel like I didn't have one binge! That's huge for me.

Today I made the girls pancakes for breakfast and I had 2 small ones - skipped on the syrup and saved myself from the sugar. My kids just eat them with butter anyway so I'm not super tempted. I also had an apple.

For lunch I'm going to have leftovers from last night's chicken and I'll probably have some snap peas and carrots as well. For dinner I'm making a shrimp jambalaya from a Jilian Michael's recipe.

WO will be an upper body mix from 4DS I think. We'll see how that goes.

Katie - I think sometimes our bodies just need a little extra sleep. I went to bed at 7:30 a couple nights ago and feel much better! Lo Max with a med ball sounds great. I'll have to try it. I have the Fit TV version... always frustrates me to not have the whole WO!

Steph - your WO from last night sounds great. You're good at putting things together! My lower back was bothering me earlier this week so I took a day off and felt much better!

Kate - playing with your kids is an awesome workout! I played hard with my kids at the pool yesterday and I was exhausted. Your kids also love you for it!

Colleen - what pictures are you talking about?

When is RT again? I'm jealous!

My workout was The Kettlebell Way and Step-boxing. It felt great. I teach sports conditioning tonight - one of my favorite classes to teach. The kids have such great energy and it's contagious!

Angie, when I make panckaes I wrap my banana up in one kind of like a hot dog. Good job w/ eats and your wokrout! Re playing with the kids: I am appalled by the amount of parents who leave their kids to play alone! I almost always play with my kids. I may take a few minutes now and then but JEEZ!! You had your kids, play with 'em for goodness sake! And RT starts officially next week Friday, tho Colleen, Katie, Steph, and I are arriving Thursday.

Shirl, So good to see you! And you're kickin' butt with workouts and menu! Good for you!

Steph, Why do you go to the eye dr in 4 months again? I go once a year, but I get out of it while I'm pregnant! yee haw!

Canoeing was great, headed out to the beach in a minute. Eating is so wierd today. Late breakfast and lunch. My meals the last few days have been clean - it's the odd snacking on the kids meals that will do me in! Need to keep my paws off their leftovers!!!
 
Hi Again!

Steph, Yeah, I'm a little crazy! ;) I have lots of energy! I like to do 2 workouts back to back to prepare my body for when I have to teach 2 classes back to back. I don't do the entire workout I teach tonight. I walk around and check form, provide encouragement, positive feedback, etc. The energy is so high in the class that it gets me through! :D I'm sorry your back is acting up - naughty back! ;)

The RT sounds so great! I wish I could be with all of you.

Kate, I think it's great that you're a hands on Mom. Your girls will always appreciate that. I love the banana and pancake idea. Canoeing, you go girl! You truly are one fit pregnant diva!

Hey ladies, we are home. Got ice cream, then a little shopping and Collin stepped on something sharp in a store and it went thru his shoe and into his foot. Tetnus (sp) is up to date, but it still makes me nervous. I reported it to the store so they can pay the bill if anything goes wrong!
 
I'm back and we had a fun class! I really enjoy working with that age group.(12-17)

Robin, Kettlebell Way is good and hard - I LOVE it! NC sounds like it will be wonderful.

Kate, That would be so much FUN! I know what you mean about snacking on the kids food; I call it the Mommy trap.

Katie, I hope Collin's foot is ok; poor little guy.

I am feeling better than yesterday but not 100%. I struggled through HSTA and had to take a couple of rests because I was too winded.

Steph, good luck with the eye doctor. I always procrastinate until the last minute.
Katie, sorry about Collin. Hope he is okay.
Shirl, your class sounds like a lot of fun! Glad to hear from you!
Angie, pancakes are my favorite but I only have them a couple of times a year. The pictures are from DS. They are of my niece who is 5 1/2 months old.
Kate, it's nice that you play with your kids. I think that most parents are so overworked they don't take the time to spend with their kids.

Just finished 4DS upper body. Holy smokes! I've never done it that way before. Yowzers.

What WO did you do Colleen? HSTA? What's that. I have you to thank for pushing me through my workout tonight. I kept repeating to myself, "You must do the things you think you cannot do." :)

Changed dinner from shrimp jambalaya to pepper steak stir fry to use the meat.
