Anyone start this yet and I misses it? I hope not:)

I know that the day is far from over but I wasn't sure if we were posting at the end of the day OR are we posting what we plan on eating?

Well, I just got off of night shifts so I am just getting up and it is lunch time here.

This is what I am GOING to have today:)

Breakfast- Cereal w skim milk and flax seed
Snack- a piece of fruit, yogurt or protein shake
Dinner- WW spagetti and a big salad.

I am also going to make the spagetti with alot of meat b/c DH won't eat it other wise.I make it about once a year b/c I am not a spagetti fan and now I am craving it.
My workout is going to be back or shoulders and Imax2 or a run.Im leaning towards Imax 2 and I may go for a 30 min run tonight like I use to do a few years a go and I weighed 10 lbs lighter!:)
Lori:)

Where's your lunch???

So far this morning I've had a huge handful of grapes and a cup of organic decaf with stevia...

About to have a whole wheat bagel and workout...

Will have a protein shake (I know, not clean, but it's vegan and sugar-free!) afterwards...

Lunch will be 2 whole-wheat tortillas with spinich, black beans and salsa..

Snack on carrot sticks and a red pepper today

Dinner?? It's only quarter to 10 in the morning!!! Can't think THAT far ahead...But believe it will be veggie burgers on homemade whole wheat buns with a yellow squash, tomato, basil and garlic stir-fry on the side...

go ahead and count me out. :+ :p :+

I am actually just trying to stay away from evil sugar. I didn't have any this weekend, but I did have 2 buckets of popcorn. I don't think the second one should count, though. I was on a date with my two older kids and was under the influence of their smiles and laughter! :7

I ate 2 peices of organic toast for breakfast with a glass of organic milk
lunch will be cantaloupe and........something healthy I promise!
snack is apple from orchard and a protein
dinner will be stuffed peppers, my specialty!!! :7

have a healthy day everyone!!!

Missy

I think I'll join you ladies on the "clean eating thread". I have an appointment with my doctor 2 weeks from today and I want to be in tip top condition. I don't have any meals planned for the day yet. I've been gone quite a bit the past couple of weeks and I need to do major grocery shopping today.

I ate very clean for breakfast--oatmeal with chopped apple, walnuts, cinnamon and splenda then a hard boiled egg for a snack. I'm doing light cardio and PH today.

Hi Clean Eaters! Since I posted the original question about this thread last Friday, I should probably actually join in, shouldn't I?

I'm currently nursing a baby, so I am attempting to find the balance between eating enough calories to sustain a good milk supply, and not overeating. Any suggestions people have for this are greatly appreciated. For the first 2 weeks after having the baby my weight dropped quickly, but this last (third) week I've gained a pound. So, I think it's time to focus on eating only clean food. It's going to be very hard to give up all the "treats" I've been giving myself since I became pregnant last January! Oh well, that's how the way it goes, isn't it?

It's midmorning here, so I've eaten:
pre-workout snack: banana
breakfast: ww bagel with about 1 tbsp of peanut butter and 2 tbsp of Twice the Fruit jam; calcium-fortified orange juice (1 cup).
lunch: will be a tomato-rice vegetable soup with added turkey; cinnamon raisin english muffin with a bit of butter.
snack: will be 1% cottage cheese (1/2c) with fresh pineapple (1/2c)
supper: will be Salisbury Steaks (a Weight Watcher's recipe), mashed potatoes, baked yam with a tbsp of light sour cream; steamed cauliflower.
bedtime snack: cereal (maybe Oatbran with brown sugar and dates).

Snacks are the hardest part for me. That's when I want to go for the muffins, brownies, etc.

Missy - I haven't made stuffed peppers in ages. I'm going to do that for dinner next week. Great idea!

Jane - I like what you eat! The gingered sweet potato pancakes sound delicious.

Good eats, everyone!

You would not even BELIEVE it!!! My cold turned out to be pneumonia. I was one sick puppy for a couple of weeks.x( ;( :(

Then, as if that were not enough, there was a death in my family so I was out of town for a few days. After all of this, my DH and I went away for the weekend. We really needed the break/rest.
