Circuit Workouts

I have a question about the Bootcamp/Muscle Endurance DVD. When I exercise I prefer doing cardio and weights separately. I just don't seem to do circuit workouts. Is it worth my while to buy this DVD if I don't do circuit workouts?

I did Bootcamp for the first time yesterday. It's a toughy and a great workout for your entire body. It certainly isn't boring and the time just flew buy. But if you don't like circuits then this ain't for you. She does cardio, then weights, then abs, and I think something else. She does this rotation eight times. It's a hardy workout.

I didn't care for Muscle Endurance. I didn't find it tough because I don't use nearly as heavy weights as she does. I prefer Muscle Max.

While I used to do use this DVD a lot when I first got it, I rarely touch it anymore. I don't do circuit workouts often, and if I do, I prefer High Step Challenge. If you don't like circuits much, I'd choose a different DVD. Like Matiana, I prefer Muscle Max for a total body weight workout.

It depends on your goals. For total body/circuit workouts you cannot go wrong with this DVD.

If you were going to do a circuit workout, Bootcamp is the one to do, imo. Bootcamp is very challenging. It's an excellent calorie burner. Oh and there is a killer cardio only premix - one of the most challenging high intensity premixes out there.

Muscle endurance is one of my favorites for higher rep/lower weight total body workouts. I think it's more challenging than Muscle Max.

I usually lift heavy with 3 day splits for 3 weeks and then do one week of lighter total body/circuit workouts. Bootcamp/ME is on my very short list of circuit/total body workouts.

I agree completely on this. Muscle Endurance is one of my favorites total body workouts and when I JUST want cardio, the premix Boot Camp (cardio only) is a killer. I do this 3 times and can count on mopping the floor.
