Christi Taylor Totally Cool Step...

just did combo one, and was able to get through it fairly easily, using the modifications. Are the rest of the combo's about the same, choreography wise? This is the first time I tried a Christi workout, and I thought it was fun! Anyone here a Christi fan?

Hi, you will find alot of Christi fans here. I have just about all her stuff, and TCS is a blast. Keep going on this one, following the modifiers if necessary, you will be just fine. Also, don't forget about the Movemaster section, alot of people use that for a great tutorial on the choreography.

May I suggest you also get Mission Possible? It is her least complex dvd and is geared towards someone who is not as familiar with her choreography.

Have a great time, Christi's attitude is infectious!:7

I'm a Christi fan! I've done TCS twice now, and was able to get most all the moves without the modifications. I've found I usually "get it" about the 3rd time. I really love Christi because you work the brain as well as the body! And the time is gone before you know it.

On both the "Totally" workouts (Cool Step, Hot Cardio), she has a bonus cardio which combines both halfs of the workout. If you skip back to the menu just before the cooldown, you can select the bonus and do the entire thing non-stop! It's great, and it brings the workout up to about 55 minutes. The entire cooldown follows the bonus, so you don't have to go back to the menu. If you start with the bonus warmup, you have a full hour workout.

There is nobody who cues better than Christi. I know some people don't enjoy complex choreography, but some of us love it. For us, Christi is our dancing queen!

I just got this one and have done it about 3 times now - it gets easier. Fun - I know I'll be doing it a lot. I like her stuff, especially the music she uses.

I haven't tried Christi yet, but have her in my Netflix queue. Maybe I will bump this one to the top and give it a go!

I just became a Christi fan. I did her CIA 9801 hi/lo a few days ago and it was a lot of fun. I didn't do the step yet but am looking forward to it. She's great at cuing; didn't have to rewind at all. Looking forward to getting her other tapes but my wallet is running dry after getting so many of Cathe's tapes.

I was wondering, Is christy as intense as Cathe. It sounds like they are a lot of fun, but just wondering if they get your heartrate up as much as Cathe.

I'm a big Christi Taylor fan and TCS is currently my most favorite step workout. Following as a close second would be Step Heaven. I just love the music she uses and the choreography just seem to fit perfectly with the music. On her website it said that she has spent up to 15 thousand dollars just for the music rights to make one video.

As far as intensity goes, my heartrate monitor shows a slightly higher burn on Christi step workouts than on Cathe step only workouts.

I just did Totally Cool Step tonight, and I added on part of RS to make the workout over an hour. Christi rocks, but she is more complicated than Cathe. I am previewing Step Heaven right now, and I am a Christi as well as Cathe fan.

The music to Step Heaven is great, by the way.

I do both Cathe and Christi on an 8 inch step, and my heart rate gets just as high with Christi as it does with Cathe. Her workouts are very intense.

Step Heaven is my favorite Christi workout. It took me longer than her other step workouts to get it - I wish she did more like Step Heaven. I still do that one once a week (ususally on Sunday morning at 6 A.M.).

I have all of her workouts. I, also, do all of her step workouts on an 8" step as well as Cathe's. Her music is very motivating. I really enjoy all of her workouts and get in a great workout on top of it.

She does great hi/low workouts, too.

Okay Christi fans. This post has made me move the Totally Cool Step to the top of the netflix queue. Is this a good one to start with? I don't really think that I am interested in Mission Possible (the clips looked really boring). Or do you recommend another one to start with?

TIA,

Karin

I got Step Sational, TCS, and Solid Gold Step. The Move Master really helps. I would view those before you try the workouts.
