Good morning, cheetahs!

Today is a TM run + leg cond. drills from KM. I'm off to go check out the posts from last night.

I must say...all this ravin' bout P90 is slowly wearing me down...I might have to give it a go. But I'm wondering about the pullups...I don't really have a place to install a bar...Hmm...

Will be back shortly. Have a great day, ladies!
Cathy :)

Only a few to catch up with last night…

Jess :: I ate KFC & a MASSIVE Danish last night, so I banned myself from the thread! I don’t know if I can keep up with TWO cheetah threads! *lol* I would LOVE to be trapped inside because of the snow. We do have a little bit out there from last night, but not enough to close school—grrr! :)

Wendy :: no worries ~ it’s been a challenge to keep up with personals here lately! Hope both you and Joey feel better & well-rested today. I don’t have a cold (amazingly enough), but I am with you on feeling particularly tired this week.

Elaine :: I thought PS4 was OK…not as tough as I’d hoped it would be…and if I’m really gonna be picky, I thought the combo was a bit too long. I’m like you, though – I probably won’t get rid of it just in case I get the urge to mix it in every now & then. You might have better luck finding the Oxygen issue at a bookstore – that’s where I found mine. There is also one on Fat Loss, but I didn’t buy it. I’ve bought that magazine a few times now, and I feel like it’s just one big ad for itself.

Hi Thomasina! We ordered a round of shirts, but a few people missed it, so some have expressed interest in a second round. If we can order around 15 shirts, the cost of the shirt plus shipping would be somewhere around $20-23. The absolute minimum is 6—BUT at that number, they would cost around $30 each. Congrats on the HM & the weight loss—9 lbs. is a lot in a month…rock on!

Good morning ladies,

arghhh...another very cold, blistery day here in NC. I am so ready for spring/summer!

today's workout is P90x L & B! bring it on baby. I think i may throw in some extra leg work at the gym if time permits.

cathy- you have to get P90x- it's truly an awesome system. will shake your body up in a different way because it's so very different then what most of us catheites are used to.

the cheetah group is growin' and growin', WOW!!

have a awesome hump day ladies and I shall return later:)

Good morning - no package yesterday, my fingers are crossed for today. :7

Yesterday I ate cleaner than I have in a long time and my motivation is growing rapidly to continue that trend. I walked for 45 minutes. I just can't get motivation for much else since I know what's coming in the mail. (Man, I hope I like P90X like some of you, I'm sure anxious to try it. Thanks Gayle ;-) )

Tonight I'm subbing for a toning/sculpting class. I've never really taught a class like that, so I will have to do a little planning and preparing. It'll be a nice change.

I just dread the idea of going to work at all. x( I need to find a way to like my job again. I just don't know how????:-( Maybe if I do a real good cleaning job on my 'area' that will make me feel better??

Have a great day everyone, I'll try to get back later.
Marcia.

Good Morning Peeps!:)

Cathy, Glad you are NOT sick. I hope your being so tired doesn't mean you are harboring something that just hasn't reared it's ugly head yet! You mentioned being trapped inside because of a snowstorm. Do you remember the blizzard of 96? I was trapped in my house for 2 days during that storm w/my boyfriend at the time, my best friend and her boyfriend. It made me CRAZY! LOL I wanted to kill everyone after a while! LOL Although the next day once they ploughed a bit me and my BF went out in my p/u truck and drove around gaping at the amount of snow that had fallen. LOL P90X is an awesome upper body program! I think you'd enjoy it. You could use bands in place of a pull up bar if you need to.

Sunny, Have fun with Legs and Back girl!}( Training today?

Marcia, I hope you get P90X today! Sorry you are no longer enjoying your job. :-( I have been there. It stinks. I hope you can regain some enthusiam for it soon.

Well, since cardio did not happen y'day my plan (which ofcourse is tentative!LOL) is to get in a short TM run after work today and then come home and hit back and biceps!}(

I have DOMS from B&G yesterday! YOWZAS! I have definately lost endurance in my legs since beginning P90X. It was completely evident to me in doing B&G. I am glad I decided to add a day of leg work in and will probably keep it there through the end of the rotation now.

QUESTION.............

I know a lot of us have picked up the Clean Eating issue of Oxygen. I am at the "Supplement Your Diet" article. I see where the list of 10 supplements would be very helpful to what we would all love to achieve, but I'm wondering. Are they saying we should take all those pills daily?????? It never really says it, but that's the impressive I'm getting. I don't want to run out and get a bunch of them if that it's what I should do, do you know what I mean?

Thanks,
Marcia.

OK Marcia- Kudos to you for eating clean yesterday :) How did your sculpting class go?

Cathy- A friend of mine picked up the Fat Loss Oxygen issue while looking for the clean eating issue. She bought me a copy too. It ws a waste of paper. I agree about the ads. In fact DD looked at it too, and I specifically told her the ads were all crap and not to even think about them.

Yesterday I ended up doing DM after getting a small old TV into our lower level. While it is a great workout, it doesn't hit the back very well. I do UB again this week and will try to concentrate extra on my back. Today is an easy 4 mile TM run and yoga.

Sunny- one good thing about working out is it warms us up on these blustery cold days!

If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.

Thanks, Judy, my sculpting class is tonight. I'll be planning it all day, I'm sure. I'm a little nervous, but these are the same women that come to my step class, so they know me well enought to know it'll be very entertainment if nothing else. :)

Marcia.

G'morning Cheetahs! My plan today is B & G Leg blast premix! (thanks to all of you enablers!! }( )

Well, I'm driving the girls to school this morning. Allison has a Pre-K screening at the school so I'll be going there anyway. She's looking forward to going to her sisters *big* school. ;-) She was disappointed that she couldn't ride the bus though! LOL

We got most of the girls Valentines done last night. Hannah's class is having a Valentine box contest to see who can make the best one. So... she & Greg got to work on that (he's MUCH better at that stuff than I am... ). They decided to make a SpongeBob box out of a big cereal box, it looks great so far. They'll work some more on it tonight.

OK, I hear my dd's moving around so I'd better get moving! Have a great Hump day! ;-)

Good Morning Cheetahs. I feel a little off today. I think I may have a touch of somthing but I'm going to push through it. My stomach just feels off. I'm hoping if I pretend it isn't there it will go away. Since I was up already I did PUB and then the abs with the ball from B&G. After this I did 40 min of Eionn Finn yoga. I had a good workout but my stomach did flip flops with the yoga just in time for me to get to the restroom. Too much info. I know.

I think I'm going to just hang out today and do laundry and try to get whatever is going on inside out. I'm hoping the yoga pushed all the toxins out.

Good morning cheetahs!

Well, it was a false alarm. After I work closed early it didn't snow anymore. A warm front popped up from no where and squished my dreams of 3-6 inches of snow. We do have about 2 inches total from yesterday and this past weekend. No snow day for me or the kiddos. If DS was in school then he would be off right now, but he doesn't start until this fall.

Today I will be doing Butts & Gutts. It will have to be a timesaver because I only have about 45 minutes to workout at home before quickly showering and returning to work. I'm sure it will be a good workout though.

Oh, before I forget, I did buy the new Oxygen magazine everyone has been talking about along with the new Runner's World mag. I still have not had time to do read it yet, but it is stuffed in my bag here at work for the first free moment I have to look at it.

Jess - You live near Indy don't you. I spoke to my DB last night, he lives there, and they were calling for about 5-12 inches. How much snow did you get?

Hi & welcome back Thomasina! Great job on the weight loss. Check-in whenever you can.

Hello to all cheetahs!! I'll try to be back later for personals.

Oh, bummer Kristi!! We ended up w/ a good 5" I bet. I'm probably 2 1/2 hrs west of Indy in IL, we probably sent our snow to him! ;-) And, you can do the leg blast premix, I think it's 48 min! }( Come on, torture yourself with all of those walking lunges w/ me! ;-)

I hope you feel better, Karen! I hate it when I don't feel quite like myself. Good job on getting in your workout & yoga still though! Take it easy the rest of the day!

Good morning. I only have time for a quickie post right now. I'll post more later, after the kids go to school. 2 hour delay again today, and we're all fighting over the computer now! LOL

Workout this morning: 6 mile run, then abs from ME and Boot Camp. Glad I've got the treadmill, what with today's 1 degree weather! LOL

We're headed, before school, to the bookstore so I can get the clean eating issue of Oxygen Magazine.

BBL with personals and more to post!

Gayle

Good morning cheetahs

I just have to share this...I got my cool Cathe shirt yesterday (thanks again Cathy) and I held it up and showed my DH...he reads it, looks at me and asks "Who is Cathe?"....I thought "where has this man been?"....not like he has not seen her workouts for about 16 years!! Talk about out of the loop...:)

Cathy...I do think I have some masochistic tendencies, I mean, I do enjoy running marathons!! Don't worry at all about changing up your rotation...sometimes it just happens...:)..Enjoy your TM run and KM's leg drills. You can always sub heavy one armed rows for the pullups....P90X is awesome...

Tomasina!!! HI! Good job on the weight loss. Which fancy new Garmin did you get? They are da bomb...Sounds like your running is going quite well...I think Elaine will be doing the R'n'R marathon in June too.

Elaine...you will have to try Imax3, just for fun!

Wendy..so a bit of DOMS?...I have some in my chest still from CST on monday. have a good TM run and we will be doing B&B together.

Judy...glad you got in a workout yesterday despite the TV issues. Have fun with the TM run and yoga.

Karen...sorry about the stomach problems. Hope they go away as that is no fun at all...

Gayle...wow another chilly day for you. Glad you could run inside.

Christine...Int #1 was tough but I think its #5 with those plie jacks that is the toughest one for me.

Sunny...good luck with the interview! Good TM run while watching yoga run too...P90X L&B is a tough one, you might not want to add anymore legwork...:)

Marcia..hope the package arrives today.

Kristi...have fun with B&G...I get Runners World but was not impressed at all with Oxygen, way too many ads.

Shelly...did you get the EXT? I don't think mine is fancy but it works well for me and is fun!

Jess...80 min of CF..wow!!...hope you like the B&G leg blast....

I am doing P90X Back & Biceps, some abs and a 4-5 mile run. We finally have some RAIN!!!!!

Have a great day...:)

Hi Cheetahs --

Today I did DM and hope to do legwork later, I haven't decided which tape. I might do the leg work tomorrow before a Tempo run, I haven't decided yet. More stretching is on the to-do list for the day.

The kids are back at school -- it's above zero here!

Carole -- that is just too funny: Who is Cathe? You wonder sometimes if men are truly more like dogs when they listen. They look like they understand, but really they are thinking about chasing a squirrel up a tree.

Lisa--where did you go?

Cathy-sounds like you have a good workout planned. Those leg drills on KM are great. I caved to buying P90X for my DH a year ago. It’s a great workout series, nice to have in the collection. (How’s that for an enable?? Cha-ching….)

Marcia-good job on the clean eating. It’s great to feel motivated. About your job: maybe think of the actual tasks you do on your job– and see if there are enough of them that you enjoy, then see if you can do more or make them funner. Then bring on the endorphins to cope!

Sunny—have a good day! Temps are up here (LOL) to 10 degrees – a heat wave the weather folks are saying!

Wendy-glad you’re feeling better from y’day. It’s amazing how endurance can change in a short time!. Have a good cardio w.o. today.

Judy—I agree with your comments on DM. It’s a fun workout, but I don’t feel like the strength workout hits all the muscles thoroughly. I do like it , though. I feel stretched out after doing the compound moves..Glad you got that TV replacement!

Jess—have fun with that premix. It’s a fun one. Good job getting Valentines done in advance. Your are an organized Cheetah.

Karen—great workout already done for the day. I hope you feel better as the day goes on.

Kristi—too bad about the snow. But have fun with B&G. I am working my way through the new RW issue. I was interested in the article about how a lot of fatigue is mental. Very interesting….I read a bit of the knee article which was educational.

Gayle –great workout and double-trouble abs. Have a fun day.

Thomasina—welcome back! You are a racing machine.

A lot of Cheetahs here!
Hi to everyone coming by later: Elaine, Susan, Christine (how's the cold?), Colleen and anyone else I'm missing.
