Hey there all!

Not a great day - broke my trainer (the crank handle popped right off!), so I did 20 minutes of Spinervals Uphill Grind, and had to finish with HSTA Cardio and Legs (so I got a leg workout in - and that's a toughie!). It's also Tucker's birthday today, and DH was miserable last night as he in convinced that he caused the accident. I don't know what to do about that - he's literally racked with guilt. I don't blame him, and no one else does either, but he does.

Just FYI - my interview went well. I'll know more by the end of the week. I love the air of enthusiasm about the company. Everyone seems to really believe in the company and the product, so that's very good.

Christine - I am so sorry about your trainer! That is not good ;( I hope your DH gets over feeling like he is to blame! Poor guy. I am glad your interview went well! That is great! Good luck!

Susan...I know how you feel about the back pain. I know the yardwork sunday got to mine. Today it is much better too. I hope the Chiro can help you. I have not tried step or kickbox in awhile. I might try either Lowmax or LIC cardio later this afternoon.

Wendy..sorry about the cold lingering. Maybe you should just forget the cardio and let your body rest a bit.

Christine...sorry about the trainer break. You sound like me with machines...:)...sounds like you still got in a good workout. I do feel bad for your DH. It is awful when you feel it is your fault. I am sure this will pass...you are all in my thoughts. Good job with the Interview.

Linda...I did the TM of BBC Butt & Legs on my EXT. It was a nice cardio workout.

So I did BBC B&L, the 30 min TM cardio on my EXT and then added an EXT 20 min program. Needed some extra cardio..:)...
 
Carole - That sounds like great workout! I did one of the TM workouts on my elliptical and I liked it on the EXT. Most of the time I did it on the treadmill. Are you still liking BBC? I almost pulled out one this morning, instead of GS....but I made myself stick to my plan x( It is so hard for me to stick to a rotation! :+

Hello again my fair Cheetahs!:)

So I opted for BBC's chest and abs cardio only. It wasn't too bad. I preferred Joey's cardio more though and no...not cause I think he's cuter!:p LOL I did not do the ab stuff-I think that's cr@p. I stayed on my feet and did jumping jacks or whatever when they went to thier step...I have never heard of doing cardio ab work laying down!!!! Am I missing something here??? :eek:

Okay, I have some time to catch up on the personals before I have to get Joey up and ready to go to MIL's for dinner.:9

Heather, I bought a few pairs of running sox. 2 different brands though I don't remember what they are! LOL I like them both. They are moisture wicking and work pretty well.

Shelly, Have fun with Butt and Legs! Want a challenge?? Do Butt and Legs and the Leg Blast premix back to back w/no break! I don't care what order you do them in! You are insane so I bet you will do it at some point!}(

Gayle, Glad you had fun with your boys yesteday afternoon. I've been outside every day for a little while with Joey myself. He's taken to digging in the dirt...I knew it was only a matter of time! LOL It's friggin' AWESOME out there today!

Kristi, I would not go to the doc if I was not experiencing pain any longer either. I am not sure if that is the right thing to do but that's what I would do.

Carole, Well I obviously read your last post a bit too late...OR...I read it and went ahead w/the cardio anyway! ROTLMAO! :7 Truly, I did not read it until I was long done with the cardio. I had no problems. Go figure. Another Butt and Legs girl today? How about you? Are you up for the challenge that I posed to Shelly? }(

Jackie, I haven't done a Jari work out in quite some time. It'll be fun to get back to them down the line. Her newest vid is on amazon now for pre-order. I'm cheap and waiting for it to come to deep discount dvd instead!:p I rarely go to walmart. I don't have one close to me. I'm sure my wallet and my husband both think that's a GOOD thing! LOL

Jess, Have fun at your mom's! You may have a pkg waiting for you on your doorstep when you return home!:)

Susan, Keep your head up girl! You are one amazing Cheetah and I know you will NOT let this injury keep you down physically or mentally! Exercise with your head and keep those spirits sky-high!

Christine, I am sending hugs your DH's way. It was an accident and nothing more. If anyone is to blame, it's the guy that was speeding down your street! In time, hopefully your DH will see that. I hope you get this new job!:)

Linda, OMG girl! You are starting to push out workouts like Shelly does!}( Excellent work!:+ Hmmmm....somewhere in the dark reccesses of my mind, now that you've mentioned it, I DO recall your starting the X when I did! You shouldn't have quit! You'd be almost done by now!!!!!:p

Wendy - This is my least favorite of the BBC workouts. But are you talking about the non-treadmill cardio? If so...I have never done any of the non-treadmill cardio. I will have to check that one out. That does sound strange.

Today was EXT for 30" avg HR 157, GS Chest & Triceps, and abs from LIC. Then I had an enjoyable tennis match. Tomorrow is hopefully a run and stretch. I'm hoping to do 3-5 weeks of Gym styles. In five weeks we go on a beach vacation.

I managed to squeeze in a 2.5 mile run with rest breaks after each mile because I am still fighting this junk in my chest so I made myself take the walk breaks in between. Trying to learn from last summers mistakes of running hard thru bronchitis. It ended up taking me almost 4months to feel bad to normal so I am learning.

thanks for the good wishes on building. We go friday to sign the contract pending health department approval.

Susan - Glad your back is feeling better. I only have Winsor Pilates and Body Target with Suzanne Deason. I like WP Buns & Thighs and Advanced Power Sculpting. These both use the band. If I can get in 30 minutes or less, I'm happy. It does help to strengthen the core.


Christine - Sorry your crank broke. More money to spend, huh? Glad the interview went well. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hope dh perks up soon.

Wendy - Glad you made it through your workout. Hope you get rid of that cold soon. I only buy Jari when she hits DDD. I'm waiting for Amy Bento's kick boxing to get there too. She's moving a little slow though.

G'evening Cheetahs! Checkin in from my Mom's. We've had a fun day here, other than Allison waking up from her nap yelling, Mommy I just threw up!! :eek: Poor kid, she's had a tender tummy since. We went to lunch w/ my Dad & dinner w/ my Mom. It was kids eat free Tuesday and they even got their face painted, a cookie, and a balloon! Spoiled, I tell ya! ;) My cousin came over for a while too, she's so much fun. We're going to see my Aunt Meg tomorrow & plan on having fun playing puzzles, games, & having a tea party.

My Mom killed me tonight massaging my calf. She could definitely feel the lump there, and I think she took pleasure in killing it!!
}( Gotta love those Moms! It is a bit better. I'm going to at least try to walk on her TM in the morning & maybe do some of B & G. (I brought that plus KPC & CoreMax w/ me)

Hiya Jackie! I love WP Buns/ thighs. I've done it so long from memory, I haven't actually watched the DVD in ages. (I have the original one & the one w/ the band) I like the power sculpting ones too. I like the circle & the new dynamic ball too. They really helped me strengthen my core a lot. I watched DWTS for the first time last night, it was fun to watch! Hope you had a good night!
