Sunny ::: Congrats on the 3 lb. loss!! I am part of a weight-loss challenge at school, so it’s already in effect for me. Our next weigh-in is Thursday...Yes, I bought
Clean Eating and promptly returned it as it includes the same exact info you’ll find in Oxygen magazine’s Clean Eating special issue for much le$$!
Barb ::: glad your kids had a successful swim weekend…Thanks for the book recommendation. I will check it out. I’m sure I won’t go totally vegan, but I do think my diet needs more fruit and veggies. I need to order more bands, too.
Wendy ::: yes, you might call it an endurance rotation…you know how much I love and gravitate toward GS…but this month, I’ll be doing more endurance and circuits. I also have k’box in there at least once a week. No worries on the check…they are still trickling in…and the shirts are still in production, anyway. But I imagine they should be shipping SOON. Yay!...Glad you are able to tear through your PT manual – even the boring parts. I’m curious to see what your recovery week will be like!…Sorry about the bug – I hope you’re feeling better. I add a zinc supplement when I do the Airborne and it seems to be a good combo.
Laura ::: If the zig-zag calculator is giving you figures that are obviously too low/unsafe, I would say you’d have to crunch your numbers manually. For your low-calorie days, aim for 15-20% less than your maintenance level. That would be much more do-able. This is a great site for estimating calories burned and figuring out BMR & RMR:

Shelly ::: glad work has been slow & uneventful (for a change) and you are enjoying a recovery week. I agree about Zappos service…it was lightning quick!
Kristi ::: excellent job with the weight loss!! Rock on! The zig-zagging really does work. Sorry about the nightmare – it’s strange just how disturbing and how real some of them can be. Hope you feel more rested today.
Karen ::: I am still not totally sold on Jari Love—I have only done RTTC & S&L a handful of times--but I’m working on the whole mix-it-up thing, so I’m hoping it grows on me, too.
Susan ::: sorry about the mishap with your new elliptical…but congrats on ordering a top-of-the-line model…LOL about taking its cost to your grave…Nah, I don’t think it makes you a spoiled, high-maintenance wife -- you two are making an investment in equipment that you’ll surely be using A LOT, so it makes sense to buy a quality machine! I have been doing B&G in my rotations, but not regularly…Usually, I get to it every other week. In my Feb. rotation, I am scheduled to do legs 2x a week, but you have me thinking maybe I oughta make both days B&G. Glad to hear you are seeing such tremendous results!!
Judy ::: yes, I did get
ETL . You may have missed my post to you from yesterday, so I’ll recopy it here.
I picked up Eat to Live…Thanks for the recommendation…What I was reading made sense, but I know it’s too hardcore for me to adopt all the way…I don’t know that 100% clean eating or a vegetarian approach is possible for me, but I *can* make some changes to improve things and move in that direction. Again, a good read…thanks for sharing it! Wow! Your DD is moving into the city?? How exciting! Grueling workout y’day – WTG!!
Colleen ::: thanks! The city was the only part I couldn’t make out.
Stay warm!!
Carole ::: thanks for the link…it is something I will check into & consider! What a blast that would be. We could make a weekend out of it. Hope the pain in your back has calmed.
OK, everyone, have a GREAT day & workout! Catch up again later.
