:::: CHEETAHS :::: Tuesday, 1/16

Good afternoon ladies,
I posted this morning and walked away for minute and lost the whole dang thing, UGH!!!

I had a pretty busy morning. I had a pt appointment and they said that my l4 and l5 is a lot better and now it is just my L3. I have been going to pt for 4 weeks now and hopefully be on my own in another 3-4 weeks, if I am a good girls and do what I am supposed to be doing:) Even though I did a step workout and was very sore after it on Saturday, it only took a day for it to feel better, so that is good.

I came home and then did butts and gutts premix and PUB chest and triceps. It was a good workout.

Cathy, you really are an amazing cheetah. All this work you are doing on the shirts and still getting your workouts in and working full time, WOW! Thank you for putting so much effort into this.

Marcia, I would love to go to a tastefully party. Anything with food, YUM!

Wendy, great job on the treadmill run. I will probably struggle the first time I go back to it. That is great that you are enjoying the p90x so much. You are a very focused cheetah:)

Judy, hope you had a great elliptical workout. We may need an elliptical check-in next}(

Laura, that is great your class is growing in size. Hopefully they will stick around and not give up on their new years resolutions.

Karen, hope you enjoyed your tempo run.

Christine, sounds like a great premix, if you love pain, which you do as we all do}( How fun to go out for lunch. Let's set a date for a lunch soon. I will check out my schedule and see what works for me.

Carole, sorry to hear about the IT problem. Do you have to get help for it or just slow it down a little? Glad you had a great massage. I am getting one on Friday...ahh. Yes, my hubby is very good to me. I am very lucky. He loves to do nice things for me.

Jess, I must just be a wimp. I really about died after my first spinning class(LOL)! When are you going to give the elliptical a go? It took me a while to warm up to it. I did not like being on a machine that long. I love it now and yes, I am so excited about getting one delivered to my house very soon.

Shelly, great great job on your marathon. I am glad that you had an easy pace and you did not push it. How is is your injury doing?

Laurie, what a great workout you did today. I really love the HSTA cardio and lower body premix. It always kicks my bum! I am sure you will be very successful with the online dating. I had a friend who did what is called "dinner for six", and what you do is you meet with 5 other people at a restaurant and just have dinner and conversation and it is a great way just to meet people without having to do it alone. He found is soulmate this way in about 6 months and you get to eat at great restaurants. I don't know if they have this establishment in Canada, but just thought I would mention it.

Sunnydelite, great news about the gm compliment. BTW, how is your eating going? My eating has been so up and down that my head is spinning. I am really trying to clean it up on a daily basis, but there is always some festivities around that always mess it up, like my daughters b-day last week sent me on a binge for about a week:( Oh well, like I said it is a daily process.

Christine, 50 minutes for 5 miles! It took my hubby an hour and 40 minutes to commute to ebay today. I wonder what that was all about?

Well, I think that is everyone. Have a great afternoon and evening ladies and I AM GETTING AN ELLIPTICAL!!!!!!!! I know I already told you all that, just had to get it out of my system again:)

Cheers!

Susan

I'm back from the orthodontist. My dd doesn't have to be seen for another six months yet. She just turned 10 so I know it's coming soon. She just lost another two teeth so they are waiting to see what they have to work with. She has been going every six months since she was 9 to see if her jaw is growing. I personally don't think her teeth are that bad but she does have over crowding. Most of the little girls on her soccer team already have them. I'm just happy her mouth is taking it's sweet time maturing. This way I don't have to fork over the money yet. Then of course I took us all out to lunch. Now it's late and I have to make dinner.

Susan- I had a terrific tempo run this morning. My IT band is holding up good. I'm so happy.

Wendy- I'm glad Joey's apt went well. I know the next one will to. Don't worry. Easier said then done with your kids.

OK, Plan B it is. (I got held up after school w/ the newspaper, and I’d rather avoid the dark—and wind! I’m just not feelin’ the beast thing today! Maybe I should get my own t-shirt with a wussy bear on it! HA) So I’ve re-arranged my rotation for this week and have decided that after some relaxation and dinner, it’ll be B&G.

Onto personals…

Marcia ::: much success @ the TS parties the next two nights! Working FT, running a bar, AND having this side venture sure must keep you busy.

Wendy ::: glad you were able to get out there for a run. P90 novice talking here, but I can’t see running being a poor sub for any cardio…it’s pretty hard to beat, don'tcha think?

Judy ::: hope you had a great workout! You always jam a lot in there!

Laura ::: way to go on your expanding BC classes :). Word must be gettin' out!

Karen ::: hope you had a good 4-miler. Thanks for creating the race thread--great idea. At the moment, I have none to add, but that should change come spring.

Christine ::: you are one crazy cheetah! Stepboxing *after* B&G Leg Blast??? I could barely hobble to the couch afterward…*lol*. Let me bow down 'cuz I am not worthy! :) Glad you found a group for the HM. That could be fun motivating others to rise to the challenge.

Carole ::: definitely! I hope to see you at the next road trip. :) Yikes on the ITB!! But glad you enjoyed your massage. I’m sure you will keep close tabs on it and be careful.

Jess ::: enjoy your CF + tri’s workout.

Shelly ::: take it easy with those workouts of yours, and have a great night!

Laurie ::: so have you set up any dates yet? Dish, girl, dish!! I think you *definitely* need a cheetah shirt!! Let’s figure out the exchange rate…I have a currency converter bookmarked somewhere…I will check it out…Do you use PayPal, by any chance? We are now looking at Smuggler’s Notch in Vermont…but I will keep you posted on the plan.

Sunny ::: congrats on the positive feedback! WOW! It didn’t take you long at all to make an impression! :) :) :) I really hope you find something PT soon, so you don’t run yourself ragged. It sounds like you have found your calling!

Susan ::: all right, this means we have to keep you on track and stop you from doing anything to reverse your progress…So, behave! ;-) :) You’re not alone on the eating…last week, I ate pretty healthy, but most days, I did not manage a calorie deficit, so I was a little disappointed in myself. This week is PMS week (sorry if TMI) and so I’m a ravenous pig. Am trying hard to keep it in check but it does ramp up my appetite, which really does not need any help in the ramping-up department, thank-you-very-much to the evil gods of DNA. (sigh) I just enjoy eating and I don't see that ever changing! So, when does your elliptical get delivered?

OK, off to eat (of course), relax, and then bust some butt & gut!
Cathy :)

PS...It looks like the shirts are going to cost $18.20. They'll send them to me here, and then I'll mail them out to you guys. Re: postage, let's just make it $22 even, and if it winds up costing me more or less, I'll let you guys know.

Shelly- I missed yor marathon report yesterday. Way to go! I am so sorry aobut your injury, and so impressedthat you ran a marathon with it. Your advice to keep running; it is worth it really rung in my ears. Thank you!!!!

Wendy- Time management got to be a proirity for me when I had 4 kids. I'm sure Jes and Susan will agree with me! I agree to keep running in your mixt to keep yor endurance up.

Susan- How nice of yor DH to be so sensitive. Having an elliptical at home has been a wonderful cross trainning tool!

Oh and Shelly-0 we play indoor tennis in upstate NY during winter, but it was still cold in the bubble. I had my gloves on until the middle of the second set!

Jes- I'm glad you liked the spin class.

Thanks, Karen! I am just confirming the price quotes with the company and will put out the call for orders soon!

I wound up doing CF-cardio mix & match, I think it was. I just had the urge to do some cardio instead of B&G.

OK, cheetahs! Have a great night!
Cathy :)
