well, for some reason my eyes popped open around 0230 and i have yet to make it back to sleep. i guess i will fall back asleep if i am tired enough. if not, i guess my day is starting way early!
some personals...
carole-i am impressed that you swam in college! like i said, i get out there and do it, but i am certainly no "swimmer." i ended up doing eoin with nbf and then nrolw. he had done nrol the day before, so he skipped that part.
judy-great time on your hilly run! isn't it nice to get reaffirmation when you have been away from an activity for a while?
dallas-i hope you are feeling better. i don't think i would be able to work out with a bad sinus infection. at least not a 5 mile run and weights! glad the kids are enjoying soccer camp, but sorry your soccer break didn't last very long!
jackie-yes, i managed eoin and nrolw. that's nice that dbf is interested in your work outs. maybe you can make a workout partner out of him!
wendy-your workout sounds INSANE (in a good way). what is the site you are getting these from? doesn't hurt to look, don't know that i would actually be able to DO any of them!!!
shelly-glad you found your way round without much trouble. i am not great with directions and would probably have difficulty. glad you made it through orientation...it can be so tedious!!!
gloria-i think trying out the pool would be a great idea. go get yourself a bathing suit, girl!!!
wt-didn't get to speak with my advisor yesterday but i am going to try him today. i would like to get this whole thing sorted out one way or another.
kath-i agree...we can't change the situations we are faced with buit we can choose our attitude! sorry about the mix-up re: teaching. i try to remember everything when writing personals, and sometimes, i think i am writing to one person and i am on another person's line (i tend to go back and forth a lot). i guess my brain was working faster than my fingers!!!
wendi-interesting about the hrm! before i hurt my shoulder and had to take time off, i was burning a certain amount of calories and keeping my heart rate in a certain range. once i went back after about a month off, i noticed my hr was consistently higher and i was burning more. go figure! as for eoin, nbf did him with me so i don't think he was that worried. maybe i should be worried about all the cute girls in his dvds!
christine-so glad to hear you made it safely! lobster...yum! i haven't bought cc8 yet, but with all the great posts, i am definitely thinking it's something i need!!!
no idea what today's workout will be. i know it will be something cardio, just not sure what. if i can make it to the pool before 0700, i can swim before the kids stat swim practice. if i manage to fall back asleep, then it'll be a run, the ext, or some step. we'll see...
