RE: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CHEETAHS...too cool for tuesday!...
Hi Cheetahs!
For some reason this morning I was a crabby pants and was mad at the world. LOL! It is probably because it was raining again this morning and we couldn't walk. I lost my window for another workout so, that is that. I am feeling a lot better and have kicked the crabiness to the curb! Good thing DH was sleeping or he would have heard an ear full about him leaving his crap all over the place! LOL!
Cathy: Thanks for the explanation. I always have a selective few parents like that. In fact, the one I am tutoring. Hope graduation goes well! Great getting in some EXT time with time constraints!
Kath: We are crazy about the DOMS aren't we! In high school I worked out a lot more than I do now and I swear I had them every single day! IA with the other Cheetahs, sounds like achilles tendonitis.
Wendy: You are so right about waiting to do workouts! IA about the mornings. I would prefer getting in something a little more strenuous in the mornings, but this is good for me. I have learned that slowing down a bit is ok to do and rewarding. LOL about the work after comment. Many times after my morning workouts I just feel like going back to bed!
Christine: Fly by when you can! Would love to hear what you are up to in Boston! I too love running in new places. In fact, whenever I have moved that is how I learned the area and would tell DH about it. Enjoy your run by the Charles River!
Dallas: I am sorry you are suffering right now. (((((HUGS)))) to you and your family. I will be thinking of you! Take care!
Shelly: What exactly will your job be? How do you like the new hospital? Is is bigger or anything like that? It is always interesting to do something different. Did you sleep better? Sure hope so! I bet your DH misses you!
Wendi: Great run! Yay for no boss around! You know I loved mine, but there is always an ease in the building when the boss isn't around. LOL! One time this year our principal was going to be at a conference in Lansing, so the secretary (she's great) started the phone tree to tell everyone to wear jeans that day! LOL!
Judy: Summer school is going so well. I am pleased. Can't complain about a 3 hour a day job! I had PF, but not severe. I just used yoga and a golf ball and that took care of it. I don't golf, so I had to go out and buy them. The student I tutored today is a golfer and said certain golf balls are better than others. Never knew that!
Marcia: Hi. I am new here. I am a 32 year old teacher and am glad I joined this group. Looking forward to getting to know you!
Carole: This winter DH and I only ate meat that he had hunted. I understand your feelings about the hormones, etc. I am leaning more and more that way as I grow older. It is scary with all the recalls and what not. In fact tonight my friend called and asked if DH and I wanted to come over for ribeyes. That is the last thing I want to eat! Not only that, but I have summer school and walking in the morning. DH usually doesn't get home until 8 pm and I can't be up that late right now. There will also be lots of wine and I do not want to go into school feeling like crap. DH will most likely go. That is fine with me, I am by no means a controlling woman! LOL!
Lorie: Sounds like DBF is a good pick! Looks like a nice easy day for you, GOOD! At least I have been looking at bathing suits this year!
Jackie: Sorry you didn't sleep well. You are a true Cheetah though and got in that work out. Good for you!
Sunny: That is very cool about you and DH working out together. My DH has seen me doing Cathe and said there is no way he could do what we do! LOL! Great results for your hard work are very rewarding, aren't they! YAY for you!
As I said above, didn't walk this morning due to the ever present rain! I am feeling this is just too much! At least we are not seeing the terrible flooding conditions others are in the midwest so I will not complain anymore. I had to drag myself to the treadmill after summer school and did 5 miles. Glad I got that in. I have to start throwing in the weights. I get so off when my schedule changes a bit that it is hard for me to be disciplined. I was so good writing down all my workouts for the week before school got hectic, making sure I got everything in, and have fell off the wagon. I will dig down deep and try to get my discipline back. Have a fabulous evening wonderful Cheetahs!
