:::: CHEETAHS :::: thursday, 4.5

Hi again, I forgot to post my workout again. Anyway I did MIS and Low Max blasts only.

Jess, glad you enjoyed LIC and it didn't bother your achilles. I love Target. I wish we had one closer than an hour away. Have fun shopping.

Susan, welcome back. It's nice to be able to visit your family. I get to visit my parents and brothers this weekend. Can't wait.

Shelly - Wow! That is an awesome workout that you have planned! You lucky girl! Enjoy your three nights off!

Well, I guess ya just can't keep a cheetah down girls!

I just finished a cardio work out! LOL :p

I did the step combos only of IMAX 3 and half of IMAX 2! It was actually a nice, light, fun work out...just what I needed!:) I snuck in a short nap before and when I woke up I was suddenly cravin' the cardio-I guess b/c I felt better!

I am still supposed to do ARX and yoga but I honestly can't see doing them back to back tonight so I'll have to think about this a bit...I should have done ARX right after the cardio but dopey me forgot about it! DOH! At this point I've just eaten and need to shower before DS gets up so I really can't do it now either! x(

So I, ofcourse, broke in my new platform today and man was it noisey! My old one was never that noisey! I received it in faaar from new condition though so I'm wondering if there really is a "breaking in" period and that it will quiet down the more I use it?? Any thoughts?

Okay well off I go for now. I'll be back later hopefull for personals.

Ciao Bells!:*

Hello again to the fabulous fit cheetahs:) I finished a great interval run. It's called the speed demon}( A warm up run of
10 minutes, then run 3 minutes at 20 sec. faster than 5krace pace, then recovery run for 3 minutes, do this for 3 cycles, then recovery run for 5 minutes, then repeat the cycle 3 more times. I think I'll go for a good ab routine in a little while, maybe the B&G stability ball section. Then it's off for a motorcycle ride with DH, then
a bicycle ride using the old legs:7 for power rather than a one cylinder 4 stroke engine ;-)

Gayle- A 1:45 Half marathon? That would mean sustaining a pace of
8:00 for 13.1 miles:eek:   If anyone can do it, you can!! I would try paced runs at this goal pace, say 4-5 miles to see how it feels to you and build up the endurance. This sounds like quite an event!

Carole- I got your e-mail:7 I've spent my whole life travelling (grew up as an army brat) and never really "settled down" until about 6 yrs ago. So I'm more than happy to handle any arrangements and make it easier. It'll also be alot nicer for you flying in to actually have people there to meet you :) I see you're doing another week of BBC. I'm going to take a few days break then do another week starting Monday or so.

Linda- I can always count on you getting the latest workouts! I've heard alot about the newest CIA workouts. Do you recommend them?
BTW, I've been meaning to say this for a while, I think you look fabulous in your avatar pic!!!

Jackie- I must say your workouts are always so very well balanced!
You obviously put some thought into your routines as well as muscle!
Not a helter skelter approach like yours truly;-)

Jess- I think you'll take to p90x like a duck to water! It's just the ticket for you now and will give you a shot in the arm, so to speak.

Susan! I'd forgotten completely that you were going away for the weekend. We missed you! Carole told me about the plans for coming to the RT a day early. A wise move for us western cheetahs! Anyway,
I've booked a room now a day early. I'm flying into Philly at 4:30pm
and Carole is arriving about 5:30pm on Thursday. Then we'll have time to meet up with Cathy and Wendy and have some good times:7 :7
You sound like you're on the mend with your back:D

Wendy- Boy did you have a change of heart or what? Earlier it was
no cardio, no way!!! Then, onward to IMAX:eek:  Wow, a noisy step can be so distracting! I hope it's just that it needs a little breaking in!

That's all the catch up for now. Hope everyone has a great afternoon, evening!

Hi again, with all the talk of running I had to get out. It's only 25 degrees here and I ran 3 miles in 23 min. My legs were tired so I didn't go any farther. Probably could have pushed it but can't keep up with all of you. I'll keep trying.

Good Evening Ladies!

Yoga X is done...well, what I did of it anyway!:p I did the first 30 and last 30 mins. I basically skipped the last 15 mins of vinyasas and the balance postures but I did the rest of it!}( It felt great on my sore butt and hams!:+

I have decided to do ARX tmrw and Sunday. :)

So the barbell came today!!!It's 13 pounds with no weights on it! I could friggin' kill someone with this thing! I'm gonna have to be *VERY* careful using it or I'm liable to take out the tv screen or the computer monitor with one swing!!!!:p :7

Hope everyone is doing well...nothing else to report...going to make a cup of decaf and relax for a bit before heading off to bed.

I have to work tomorrow...BLECH!:p

Ciao Bellas!

:)

I just got a PM from SNM that says the following....

"What type of Cathe workouts do you enjoy?"

That's it! It's not signed by SNM or anything! I find this very odd and am a little spooked by it with all of the crazy stuff that goes on on the internet these days...

Anyone else get this? What do you think? Should I reply to this???

Thanks.
