Hey Cheetahs!
Spin class was great. Now I'm trying to do decide how I want to tackle YogaX. I'd really like to *TRY* to do it in one shot but I'm not ready to go for it yet today so we'll see. I can always tackle it as soon as DS goes to bed instead. }(
I was right...The PT materials are a bit overwhelming but I am not allowing myself to get in a frenzy over it. I am going to tackle one thing at a time. (I just noticed that I am big on using the word tackle today, LOL!) There is a 500+ page LARGE hardcover book that covers everything you need to know about being a trainer. I then have a 200 page book on exercise techniques, 2 DVD's that accompany the 2nd book showing exercise form and one cd that I don't think I'll need for studying. It's got a ton of different forms on there for use with clients (training logs, etc.) as well as info on rehabilitation (which I shouldn't need). The exam is 235 multi-choice questions plus at the end there is a section of 10 essay questions. I have to choose any 3 of the 10 to answer and let's not forget abot the practical exam on video or in photographs! Whew! I have my work cut out for me! LOL I have until May 15th to complete the exam and mail it back. I can apply for a 30 day extension if I need one. Gosh, I feel like I'm back in school! LOL I guess I am! WOW, never thought I'd see that day come after I left college for the final time!
Okay, I'm done yammering on about me....I'll play catch up on the posts and come back with some personals!
