:::CHEETAHS::: TESTING TUESDAY!:::

Posh - Young lady, I seem to remember you saying you were not photogenic! Your pictures are beautiful! It is funny, though....we never do like pictures of "ourselves" I guess :) Your dog is adorable with you medal around his neck!!! Love the pic of you and Cathy with Lance!!!! Hey....did you end up being able to see the "real" Lance?

Shelly - I thought of your Spanky when I was running with this dog. Does Spanky bark? Is it normal for a dog like that to not make one single sound? That is what was so strange about the whole thing....even when the other dogs came barking and growling towards her. Anyway...she was precioius!

Cathy - You are an experienced marathoner! :) I trust your opinion! I may do some "lighter" type upper body....but I am not quite sure, yet. I didn't do any weights today. I really do want to Chicago. I will definitely consider it very seriously! What did the temperature end up being that day? After I post this...I am reading the NYT article! :)

Dallas - LOL...that is cute! I will have to remember that quote your DS said the next time I want ice cream! Ouch! That sounds like one tough workout!!! Don't ya just hate getting lost in the laundry room?

Better get busy and iron my clothes for work tomorrow! (after I read that article! ) :)

Cathy - I just read the article! Oh my gosh! That sounds like it was a really, really, hot race! I bow down to you guys for running 26.2 miles in that! The Distance Run that I did in August 30th was really hot like that, but it was only 15 miles and I was miserable with cramps and had my doubts a couple of times if I would finish! I can't imagine a marathon in it! We had 90% humidity that day, so that made it really bad, too. I am glad they were so much more prepared this year! Sounds like they did great!

Linda- Home from soccer and on the sofa. Foaming the leg today as well. I'm really doing much better but as always want to do more than I know it's ready for. If I had it my way I would run again tomorrow but I think i will hold out for some XT instead. My goal is to run 20 miles per week or so for the next few before my training begins. i think I am going to go for the OD marathon but will wait to send in the money until Jan.

Carole – Oh, I’ll bet your furbuddy was happy to see you!! I’ll bet you were happy to see him too (I know I was to see Mr. Jim – he almost wiggled out of his fur!). DH was showing my text messages to our friends and laughing. I guess they had quite the night – he was a little hungover when he picked me up! Sounds like a good workout! Funny and that photo is before I got the sunburn – I look toasted! :p I liked the way we naturally fell into a tallest through shortest line up! ;)

Judy – Yeah, I had fun with that 6-7 miles of trotting around. Hope you had a good run.

Linda – soon – we’ll get you in a GTG soon! I know, it’s so hard for pits, but she may have a shot if she’s so friendly. So hard, though. I’d love to take her, too, but, again, I cannot. I’ll send up some doggie prayers for her. :(

Thomasina – LOVE your puppy sporting the medal! Too cute! I did enjoy the weekend, too – what a blast! Love the photo of the two of you with Lance. Yeah, Cathy would love to hog Lance!

Shelly – Good job on the 5 miler! I’m so happy you’re feeling optimistic about the housing crisis, as I so want to meet you!! I hope you can make Napa!

Dallas – Sounds like you got quite the workout! I got lost in my laundry room this morning, too! Just looking at everything that needed to be done (what, are DH’s hands broken?!) I skipped my workout. No worries Mike the bike will be there tomorrow. We did see the Crown Fountains, but they were just colors when we saw them :(

Karen – Enjoy soccer! I can imagine the season seems long! So much driving!

Cathy – I’m impressed you ran today!!! Yeah, the medal wearer with the chewed up toes was indeed on my plane. Dingbat. Loved the story! Thanks for sharing! I take it you ignored the free beer? That would SOOO be my DH! I’m all unpacked and I even have a couple of loads of laundry under my belt! Don’t know what happened there. :p

So as I told Dallas, I skipped the workout this morning to make up for my weekend away. I had a mountain of laundry (DH, DD15 and I all wear two or three outfits a day between work, working out, and casual time) that was threatening to absorb me, so I climbed that pile and subdued it. I also spent some of the morning with DD15 – I missed her! The wacko news is that I just agreed to do the “Tour di Stupid”:eek::eek: – it’s a group ride (not a race or even an event) with some of the ladies from Team Estrogen. One did this ride during record heat and that’s how it got its name. We’ll do it when it’s not as hot, but it’s 98 miles and 7200 feet of climbing. Basically it's riding from the BART station in Fremont to the BART station in Dublin by way of the second tallest mountain in the area. I guess I will be training hard again for a bit. Then I’ll chill. I have a firm date with Mike the Bike tomorrow morning. But I want to do this to see if the Death Ride is even an option for me next year.

Evening Cheetahs!

Glad to see all you Chicago Cheetahs made it home safely. So proud of all of you again.

Carole - Thanks for sharing the pic of the group. Everyone is just gorgeous. Really love your straight hair.

Long day today and I'm tired. Today's workout was iTread #12 45 minutes, GS Back and Yoga Relax.

Will try and catch up with everyone tomorrow. Have a good night.

Hi Cheetahs!

I will try and post personals in the am, but I will be tight on time. I have to take my neighbor to work at 6:45 a.m. ( I usually get ready at 6:30) since his truck is getting fixed. I have ironed my clothes, made my lunch and finished the lesson plans for tomorrow and Thursday. I am hoping to get in DM double cardio. We are having dinner with some friends tomorrow night after tutoring so I don't think I will be around in the evening. Today was BC....a personal favorite.

Take care Cheetahs!
