Good morning ladies,

I am checking in late today. I had to go to Target to find some new workout shirts for my weekend with Bryan(Yummy pants). of course, I did not need the other 12 items I bought along with those shirts. Why is it I cannot get out of that store for uner $100.00.

I did Muscle Max yesterday and I find that workout to be very doable. I matched all of Cathes weights and it was good. I then did 45 minutes of yoga.

My sciatica feels good today. I think the yoga is really helping. I have also been doing a lot less running this week. I only ran 2 time this week, but did a lot of other Cathe cardio.

Today, I am going to just do an hour and half of yoga and that is it. I want to really be ready and feel good for this weekend.

I have been pretty good with the food the past few days. If I can just stay that way, fingers crossed.

Cathy, Enjoy your run and your gym style workout. I would love to bring my camera to take pictures of Bryan. He tends to be very conservative when it comes to all the hype, so I am not sure he would appreciate it. I saw him last year as well.

Judy, have a great run and hopefully there will not be any weirdos out.

Christine, I hope you feel better today. Keep your workout short and not too intense. Have you started your new job?

Linda, GREAT run yesterday. I have never run when it has been under 60 degrees. I live in California though. You can gush all you want.

Carole, I am glad you got your run in. I hope you don't get a full blown cold. Take lots of zinc and vitamin c. Maybe you should bag slow and heavy and do a lighter weight workout. I find the heavy ones really get me when I am on the verge of a cold.


Runnergirl, WELCOME!!! A slow run is way better than no run and if it felt good that is what matters.

Laurie, sounds like a fun workout! I hate being a grown-up sometimes too, especially when it comes to bills and paperwork.

Jess, I love having my best girlfriends over and having great food. There is nothing better than that. Enjoy your GS workout. I find the chest work in that on to be over the top. I usually do a pre-mix. You will love it.

I'm definately returning David K.'s work out now! I started w/his lower body work out and when I tried to "rewind" it at one point cause I wasn't ready in time, it wouldn't let me! That just pissed me off to no end! ACK! I quickly put that one away and did Slim and Lean. I skipped Jari's ab work and did Cathe's abs off of the Cardio Hits dvd. }(

Have to go retrieve the little guy from his crib now!

Hey cheetahs!

You will be so proud of me--I resisted temptation and did NOT work out today. Not that I didn't almost cheat LOL. I actually had my gym bag packed and ready to go so I could use the elliptical, but then I remembered how horrible I felt on Sunday and I decided against it.

I'm still climbing the walls, but I figure that's probably a good sign--maybe that means I'll have lots and lots of pent up energy for my half :).

Gotta get back to work, but I just wanted to check in!!

Susan..I have the same problem in Target!! I am glad your sciatica is doing better. I did bag S&H completely. I'll try it tomorrow. I got into cleaning and some things need it!! besides the 10 miles wearing me out!!

Wendy..sorry about David K's workout...:(...I guess you know right away if it isn't for you...

Jennifer...just remember rest is good....in the long run it does help....is that a pun???

So cleaning and laundry got me out of S&H. I am not feeling real bad so hopefully tomorrow I can get back on track....I am craving an Elliptical workout...:)
 
Hey All!!! The first day at work was BORING!! No PC or anything, but that will change tomorrow - then the learning begins. I ended up doing S&H Chest only, and CTX's 10-10-10. I was glad to be able to do that. I figure if I'm under the weather, today is the best day to be that way as I'll be moving fast from now on. They say it's a 3 month learning curve - well, I'm aiming for one month... *shakes head at self* Oh yeah, I'm way too competitive! It's a wonderful group of people I work with, and I'm really excited. The more I learn about the company, the more I know I made the right decision. Thanks for all your well wishes!!!
 
Whew! I got everything done & the PartyLite party is over!! Man, I feel like I didn't sit down all day!! I think I'll have a $400 show once I get a couple more orders from people who couldn't make it. Then I'll get some good free stuff!

And I just have to say that I did ALL 72 pushups from C/T on my toes!!! I took the advice of some of the ladies on the open forum & took a little bit of a longer break between the sets. It helped a lot & I didn't have to drop to my knees for any of them!! ;-) Yeah, I'm getting stronger! :)

I've got to make sure I set my alarm properly for tomorrow so I don't over sleep again! ;-) Hope you're all having a great night!
 
Hey! It's after 10pm and this is my first opp for personals! :eek:

I went to the gym tonight and did a 3.83 mile tempo run-40 mins in addition to my Jari work out earlier today. }( My ipod has been shipped! WOOH! Thank goodness! It can't come too soon as my mp3 player is REALLY messed up these days. I had to run completely w/o it today! I don't know how I made it through!

Tomorrow I have to work in the morning so I'll be doing some Cathe cardio at home at nap time and that's it. Easy day! ;) :p

Cathy, So what work out did you decide to do today?

Christine, Sorry to hear about your headache last night but I'm glad it went away rather quickly. I'm happy that you are getting a good vibe about the job already! :)

Linda, Good job on the cold weather run! That is something I have never done either. I will have to see how I fair as the weather cools off around here...

Laurie, I was laughing at your "I hate being a grown up" statement. I feel that way often myself! Wouldn't it be great to be a kid again!? :+

Man, I feel like a junkie going through withdrawal. It's not even funny! I am so tempted to get on the elliptical tomorrow, even for just 40 min or so. Gah. And I'm fueling up for the run, so I feel doubly anxious about not burning those calories. I know the whole point is to build up stores of energy, but I feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust!!

I am right there with you. I told myself I am just doing yoga this week and I know I will be on my treadmill tomorrow. Oh well, at least we are addicted to something healthy. Have a good night.
